Love seeing you actually make it with gold and not just the video profits. You deserve every bit of it for these honest videos and how you treat your viewers. Go get it Chris.
I'm almost 56 and I still a rookie that just puts knots in my stomach I'm desperate to get to that level well done man you're a very good teacher / instructor I'm James from Southern Indiana
Great to see such a good return in gold for your physical efforts, but the feel good factor from watching the pair of you work and laugh together smashed it out the park
Enjoy your channel ... I used to live in Oregon and chased the gold there popping into Northern California ... now I live in Costa Rica and starting to chase the color here ... if I find something tasty I will post ... Pura Vida amigo ...
Just got done with our mining season in the western US a couple weeks ago and back home. Normally we dredge with our 5" extended box dream mat dredge, but this year we got a 7 yard/hour trommel out to the claims and going, but no excavator to load it until next year. The hopper on it is above head height, so shoveling by hand is a nightmare lol! The water is so low when we're there in the summer all the best cobble bars are high and dry. Just have to hope the exploratory mining permits for non recreational mining and the bond come through without being too insane. brought the hopper home to buy metal and weld up a grizzly system of some sort still and waiting for new electric pump, a 2" Honda pump wasn't quite enough alone for the wide dream mat dredge mats were running. Seemed to figure out this year the best gold is under the biggest rock bars, absolute worst stuff to try and dig. I had to break it up with a garden hoe and pull out big rocks and make pay piles to shovel in. We've been trying to hit bedrock in the rhyolite canyon for many years with the dredge, but have never found it up to 15' below the bottom of the creek, through 10+ feet of hard pack, the top like iron concrete you have to hammer through and use high pressure water blaster to chip through the hard layer. The mini excavator that can reach down like 8' should help. Had a few groups come visit this year, one with our speed bankers in the week each got like 3g of gold or so, the other with hand tools and stream sluice but there a lot longer did about the same. It's the desert and high elevation so no one is shoveling for more than a couple hours at a time. We never get rich since all our equipment was being carried down the side of the cliffs by hand until making friends with the rancher with the only possible access. Just have to help with a cattle drive and fix some fences and we got to bring the camper right down to the creek down from the bare lava desert the federal government just stripped of all trees ruining our camp site. You're the channel that introduced me to dream mat many years ago when it was new, and now know the guy who makes it in the US. He was out to the claims not this summer but last.
Bloosy awesome 👌, good to see Mick out with ya! What a grouse spot, my best ever at my local is 0 48 for 4 hours! Thats with pans and a forward classifier! To far to cart my trommel and high banker, battery etc. Wicked job boys😮 ❤ it Vogus! Good job fellow gold soldier! 🎉😅😊
Got my slobber paydirt bag and mini pan in the mail last week, looking forward to giving the pan a swing hopefully this weekend, once again another awesome video Chris and good to see Mick back too! ⛏️
Ok ok, great to see Mick an all that !, But Where the fc is Gadzee?, hiding in the bush ? 😂😂 Great video Chris as usual, gotta say big thanks my last slobber bags order, arrived in 8 days to the UK , phenomenal dude ! Gold an garnets were awesome yet again ! 👍👏👏👏👏
I've watched since the very beginning. I wanted to show you my appreciation. I started prospecting because of you. Also it's become an obsession, one my wife wouldn't stay with me for. So while infinite sadness grips me, watching you brings me back. Thank you Chris ✊️🇺🇦 oh....and Slava Ukraine
Still can be easy to process the clay. 5 gallon bucket filled with water/clay and a drill paint mixer attachment. I figured that out with some super sticky clay I dug out. Hit it with the paint mixer attachment and it'll chop up quite well quickly
Hey mate maybe try putting your bolt in from the bottom with a little nut from above to lock it in place, then you can access the wingnut from the top and no hole when cleaning up
bloody legend, got me so excited in the wet and cold i just got your 1.5gr bag. cheers dude. bring that highbanker to creswick in the summer. i dont know how you do it in the cold.
That grey clay is something I have been looking for, for ages, a proper silica rich grey clay makes beautiful refractory (better than the bought stuff) for forges and kilns, its what victorian firebricks are made of...... so I'll just have to sit here feeling slightly jealous ...$%£*&! ooh a rare Mick hat incident, you know its a good day when Mick takes his hat off.....Good to see him again too. .I wish I was in a position to go prospecting because the stumpy picks high banker looks like it would make any trip to decent ground pleasant ...oh well never mind Great day guys well worth sharing thankyou
Great work guys and well worth the effort and with gold going up all the time there is no better time to be out there getting it lol. My subscription payment will be in the next month as other stuff has happened.
have you considering getting some kind of muffler for the water pump? idk even know if such a thing exists, but i can only imagine it would be nice with a bit of quiet while shoveling for hours.
@@VoGusProspecting😂 you think similar to myself. My brain directly traveled to the same place Your’s did. A little research and some prototypes will have your pump whispering sweet nothings in no time!
We love you! Thanks for all your content, tips, tricks, and entertainment lol. You have helped me learn about prospecting and further my drive for gold! Gold with too much dirt in it 😂
Wondering if you could make the clay easier to process by placing a bucket with a screen under the outflow of the banker and let the running water break up the clay. The gold should sink rapidly and fall to the bottom of the bucket while the clay is fine enough to be carried out of the bucket by the flowing water. Every so often, empty the bucket into the banker to extract the gold.
HEy yo! you can get color blind glasses that will correct your color spectrum. I work in a tattoo shop and the owner is red/green color blind and I bought him some and now he can tattoo in color where as before he only did black and grey. Amazon has them fairly priced. Hope this helps you.
Good to see Mick back.
He never left. He's just been incognito mode
Good to see Mick back on the channel!
nice gold hi mick, you guys did great now can you please do it again ...ect .. thank you for sharing the adventure and information.

It's amazing how just a wee bit of thickness weighs up fast!
I love that Stumpy Banker!
I've learned so much from Chris. I'm going to attempt to build a vacuum pump later today. Thanks for the education
Great to see such a good return in gold for your physical efforts, but the feel good factor from watching the pair of you work and laugh together smashed it out the park

ok one thing that high banker needs just to finish the job at perfect.. is a few bubble levellers mounted on it to get that perfect pitch and level
As a Capricorn, Garnet is my Birth Stone. I should get out looking for gold and maybe find a few garnets, would be cool.

Try to get a surplus MOLLE 2 frame and shoulder straps, you can get it for
Good on ya Gus from Whidbey Island.
