Are you sure these tram towers are not associated with the building of the dams? They seem to be made of materials used in the early to mid 1900's and are much newer than the gold rush days.

I was at the China Garden trials yesterday all I found was mica. Can you suggest where to go to find that kind of material?
not sure where china garden trail is off hand but anywhere ya see tailings n old diggins youll find gold
@@shastagoldminer if you go from clear Creek market to clear Creek Rd then follow it down it's the first area of the clear Creek recreational area. It's right across the big quarry. Yeah I didn't see any tailings. I'm guessing going further down to, gold dredge area. This time I will take my Gerret ace 200 which has an iron ore ignore.
from honey bee road to horsetown both sides of the road r tailings..look for any bedrock ya can find n hunt around that@@unknownglitch8080

I have ridden many dirt bikes on those trails and have been where you were hiking. I was up there 10 years ago when I first got to Redding. I drove up there pretty high up with my 4x4 pathfinder until I discovered a huge hole in the road. Unfortunately I didn't have a pan at the time

You need to get a hand or siphon dredge in there. It would at least speed up the process to get down to bedrock.
Well I use to dredge but was just having fun sniping.seein the gold on bedrock is crazy exciting..

It was great running into you again!!! This time out detecting. I have found nice gold in that creek too but as I mentioned my van has gotten busted into three times out there. I guess I need someone to drop me off and pick me up later. Did you ever have that problem???
