AMPERSAND GESSOBORDS
I like using Gessobords because they're ready to use and don't require any prep work. The surface is smooth with a very subtle texture. They're available in a wide variety of sizes.

GOLDEN HIGH FLOW ACRYLICS
High flow acrylics have a consistency like ink so you don't have to dilute them with so much water.

GOLDEN OPEN ACRYLICS
These are slow drying acrylics which means you have a lot more time for blending and softening edges compared to regular acrylics.

PEEL OFF PALETTE
Thick layers of acrylic paint will peel off of this palette because of the type of plastic that it's made from. Thin layers of paint will come off by wiping it down with a rag and some warm water.
