My Favorite Art Instruction Books: Part 4 📘

Here's a compilation of some of my favorite art instruction books. I've learned a lot about painting through people that I have never even met in real life.
These books cover a variety of mediums such as oils and watercolors. Even if you don't work in a specific medium I find that there's always something to be learned about painting from each book. For example, if you're a watercolor painter you might learn something about color or composition from a book about oil painting.

You're welcome! And yes, there's always something to be learned by reading about (or watching videos of) artists working in various mediums...even if you don't work in the same medium. Books about oils, watercolor, gouache, etc include useful information about working with color schemes, composition, and simplifying subjects. Plus browsing through these books are a source of inspiration.🖌
