Liked hearing your thoughts on the trailer - I think it's going to be a quality experience, but I do wonder what the director will want the audience to think - like are we supposed to sympathise with him or be afraid of him, and how do you end/resolve a movie like that... Btw, these are my top 3 movies, Also, I don’t believe that video games cause violence like those grandmas. However, history has shown us that film has the power to do anything. If you’re in denial, just look up “The Triumph of the Will.”
When interviewed in prison by a clinical psychologist Jeffrey Dhamer showed him his collection of favorite movies. One of them was *Return of the Jedi* . He just liked movies that fed his fetishes.
Great breakdown of the trailer, man...at the time I was really worried that it showed too much, but here I am 9 months later STILL blown away by this movie. I was a little worried about Todd Phillips involvement as well, but I have to say that this is a mainstream film that gleamed perfection in a gloomy way rarely witnessed since David Fincher's Se7en or Fight Club.
I'm so excited and I agree. The fact that this is supposed to be an original story means he has more creative control and pressure like that wouldnt be good. I want it to deliver on its R rating.
I really hope batman shows up 2/3 into the movie. Not to take away from the focus on Joker, but to really see the conflict with batman from his point of view. I would be very interested to see how the Joker reacts in the downtime between confrontations with him.
Todd Philips' directorial debut was a documentary about GG Allen, if i remember correctly. Perhaps that will inspire some confidence in his capability to pull this off. I know its what excited me about him being at the helm of this flick.
The closing moments of this trailer give me chills. Liked hearing your thoughts on the trailer - I think it's going to be a quality experience, but I do wonder what the director will want the audience to think - like are we supposed to sympathise with him or be afraid of him, and how do you end/resolve a movie like that... I feel like it could have an unsettling, artsy ending. Like the new bladerunner movie in that when it ends, you're just like, "oh." Unsatisfying ending but appropriate for the message, I guess.
He deserves an Oscar for this performance already.
Clicking on this video was Super Easy Barely An Inconvenience.
Uhh wrong trailer
The joker is tight!
Wrong channel
Whoops

Commenting something on a wrong video is TIGHT
Yes sir it is
“Movies don’t cause violence”
*The whole crowd turns to a Clock Work Orange, Fight Club, & The Dark Knight.
Dhamer got off on the scene where the Emperor torments a helpless Luke with lightning bolts. He had already acted out his most horrific violent acts on several victims. He just liked movies that fed his fetishes.
I'm much more hyped about this movie than I was for the Avengers :Endgame. Gotta see it!
I thought I cannot be more excited about this film but everytime I watch your reviews about this it makes me more hyped.
Anyone else get the goosebumps several times throughout this trailer?
*Okay, since this is Rated R, now I want a Red Band Trailer.*
No. No more trailers.
Enought is enought
nah lets keep the gory stuff for the movie
@@codyking981 That's true.
I mean, there is a snippet of Joaquin stomping someone (or something) to death...so there's that.
How to create a Joker
1989 Throw him to a vat of chemicals
2019 Throw him to society
Vat of chemicals...society...I see no difference.
Very original comment.
^
@@sanjayraju988 Yeah. Ive only seen it like 50 times on each trailer and trailer breakdown.
I swear if I see this fucking comment, one more fucking time, imma about to go as insane as Joker himself.
3:29 This man did direct The hangover, I highly doubt he’s going to cave into political correctness now
Its almost uncomfortable how long i have to wait to watch this masterpiece
King of Comedy meets Taxi Driver, starring the Joker.
It’s perfect
Todd Philips' directorial debut was a documentary about GG Allen, if i remember correctly. Perhaps that will inspire some confidence in his capability to pull this off. I know its what excited me about him being at the helm of this flick.
The closing moments of this trailer give me chills. After absorbing the curiosity, awards talk, news of Phoenix's prep work, the MPAA rating, and just one other trailer, closing with Phoenix's Joker backstage as the curtains open and we hear an off-kilter declaration to "send in the clowns" just sounds like the most perfectly ominous introduction to the Joker.
Ready or not, here he comes.
"MADNESS as you know is like gravity.....all it takes is a Little PUSH" -joker
The Nezzy Channel doesn’t make sense lol
@@Pusfilth Yeah but you do know it's a legitimate quote though right
The Nezzy Channel me saying it doesn’t make sense is now a legitimate quote.
Already loving the movie even before watching it
This really reminds me of Scorcese’s “Taxi Driver” for some reason.
Because it does take inspiration from it.
Vinny Banana oh wow, yeah I just read. That’s dope!
S Mac he helped make it
Tre I read that he left pretty early on right?
S Mac yeah I think
Phoenix looks incredible as the Joker and it would be insane not to follow it up with him in a Batman movie.
Just thing about this for a second;
Craig Mazin wrote the hangover sequels - Goes to write Chernobyl
Todd Phillips directed the hangover trilogy - Goes to direct this Joker movie.
In the Hangover I trust!
I want to walk out of this movie thinking "Joaquin Phoenix's performance made Heath Ledger look like Cesar Romero."
Lil_Dak_1 this! This! This!
Phil Walsh
I don't understand.
1:16 thank god THAT isn't my sleep paralysis demon, Jesus!
Right?! That shot was very underrated man. It was very creepy.
The remake of The King of Comedy is looking good.
Frank DaTank king of comedy but not funny
I was thinking the same thing haha, it looks like the king of comedy meets Taxi Driver
From a designers perspective your new thumbnails are really satisfying. Putting that thin white outline around yourself makes it 100% more eye appealing. 🖋
Love that Jeremy also caught the "Send in The Clowns" melody within the Orchestration. It's what they did, though less subtly, with "Smile" in the teaser trailer.
Everybody is the hero in there own story!
The first DC film I have on my must see list. It looks incredible, I just really hope it’s as good as the trailers look.
I LITERALLY LEFT A COMMENT ON THE VIDEO SAYING THAT I COULDN'T WAIT FOR JEREMY'S TAKE ON THIS
After this movie.
Joaquin Pheonix:"All I have are academy Awards."
Is anyone else here after the August Vlog. Gotta see that spot on his shirt 😁
When Im watching most DCEU films.
*All I ever have is negative thoughts.*
They need to reboot that shit and start fresh. Stand alone movies like the Joker is where it's at
Most? MOS and BVS. 2/7. SS wasnt depressing, just trash.
Really? MoS was great
@@Baby-op4oh MoS was a decent movie but a bad "Superman" movie. Just watch HiTop films' video.
@@justinrozario2003 whatever MoS was great for me
Phoenix: Want to know where I got these Oscars?
Let’s cut to the chase.
2019 Joker with Joaquin Phoenix will be phentastic.
It's hilarious b/c as soon as I heard you talk about this trailer, I immediately went to look up it but forgot to comment before I left😂
I’m truly hyped for this movie the joker is my favourite character and I am deeply intrigued to see what could be the best joker adaptation
Joaquin Phoenix will definitely bee up there with Heath Ledger. I just know it.
yup!!! heath number 3, jaoquin number 4, nicholson number 1
That's one dark humor if you see it from a different perspective and i just hope it won't happen.
I promise 5 min before this I was like where is Jeremy with the damn video
"All I have, are negative thoughts." This movie is going beyond my expectations!
"Al I have is negative thoughts" Oh that's not alarming at all. Better not call Arkham on you.. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy...
The talk show narrative seems to be setting up something very similar from The Dark Knight Returns comic and I am SO anxious to see it happen!
I’m deployed to Iraq right now, and will be when it comes out...god I hope Warner Brothers does us soldiers a favor by screening it for us...otherwise I’ll turn into the Joker
Hope they do.
Martin Scorsese helped make the movie !
No he didn't. He was going to, but backed out. Bradley Cooper produced it instead.
