It makes me happy to hear comments like this. I will be releasing many more Bambu studio tutorials shortly. If you haven't subscribed already I would be honored to have you as a sub!
You're welcome! Glad to have helped! If you have not yet subscribed, I would like to personally invite you so you don't miss any of my future videos. I have a lot planned!
I was able to use negative cylinder inside a regular cylinder to create the same thing. A simple merge is all that was needed without resorting to Mesh Boolean at all
Thank you so much my friend. Been on a few UA-cam videos explaining the mesh boolean but they skipped certain parts and I just couldn't get it to work. . . . Now I have thanks to you.
I taught myself to move objects, scale, and some other basic things. This helps me actually create the things I am trying to do. Thank you for the knowledge!
I knew this was possible but for the life of me I couldn't figure it out. I have been trying to do simple things like make holes or add a ring to attach a keyring and not been able to do even that. Thank you for these videos. I have watched a lot of your videos and they have helped greatly.
How do you change the color of the object selected? I have the newest updated version of studio and it doesn't have the same menu as you. Its missing the change color. Which was right below convert from meter.
Another cool tutorial you could do is to show people how to use those same primitive objects to create modifiers to use as supports or solid infill on a part of a model.
Can you place an object onto of an other object in the slicer? For example, I make a pencils cap that can over the eraser, but I want to put a benchy on top of the cap I created. Is that possible? Cura slicer lets you place models in the air but Bambu automatically snaps it to the build plate. I wish it would let me put the model in the air so I can place things under it.
Hey Domineque, thank you for the comment. yes you can actually. Select both objects, then assemble them together. Change to objects mode in the process panel on the left. Select the object you want to move then it will move freely without snapping to the build plate.
Great video. Thanks.
Love your vids it makes things so simple especially for a newbie so I thank you

THANK YOU for the intro. Mesh boolean was not working for my negative object, and doing it this way fixed the problem I was having. THANK YOU so much!

You are absolutely right. Bambu studio has been updated and made changes to make modeling updates such as this much easier now.

Awesome video, keep up the good work. You explain this stuff well!
Thank you for the comment! Much appreciated 👍
Thanks a bunch, my issue was i clicked merge instead of assemble. What is the difference between merge and assemble?
Thanks, i needed this a couple a days back. Thanks

pretty nice for quick adjustments or making a shape to use a custom support so I don't have to manually add it back in CAD
Awesome, glad my mesh boolean tutorial really helped you get the results you needed!

@@BojanSusic-qi4qn you know what I have the perfect idea for a video with real world use.

@@bambamprint I have been having this same problem. thank you for the guidance.
how to enable wireframe image? It is much more convenient to make holes..
@@laidoriteris sure if you right click on model and hit simply model there is a show wireframe option.
@@bambamprint Thank you very much for the quick reply!! you are amazing!
Now, off to practice.
there is no option Assmble
Good overview but mouse pointer is a little too fast to follow
Thank you for the comment. I will keep that in mind for future videos.
Sadly this part of Bambu Studio is still full of bugs (as of June 2024) and eventually it will just not work and it will let you down.
