Finally a channel that does work on w205 and mods. I praise you and honestly this is big mainly because there’s a big audience for this if you focus on it. Flex Alexander is crap when it comes to his videos. I really like your video and feel like you can be the face for the w205 jobs
Dang, I was just enjoying this dude’s channel and decided to watch this specific video and of course this comment caught my eye. Yes, I agree…this dude’s content is awesome. I binged watch some of his old stuff too from 7 years ago. Dude totally deserves more subs! But calling me crap…Lol. It’s cool, I’ll keep doing my thing cause I enjoy it and enjoy helping others. Can’t please everyone. 🤷🏻♂️ #LifeOfAUA-camr
Thank you for including all the nut sizes and doing a full thorough walkthrough, I’m planning on doing my lowering springs next weekend and this has helped me a bunch!
Awesome video!! Very helpful! And I’m glad I watched it because I was gonna put 20s on mine but seeing how yours looks with 18s and lower I think 20s would have been to much! Also if you could do a review on how the car rides now with the new lowering springs would be awesome 👏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻
@@DriftMagic you're very welcome. Thank you so much for this video. My rear coil spring snapped, and this helped me a lot to get it repaired. The only problem was that I couldn't find the right tool. So I did the research and figured I'd post so other people could get it easier. Again thank you very much. It helped a lot!!
Love it! I have a question- I have 19x9.5 et30 wheels with 265/30 tires in the rear and 19x8.5 et 30 with 235/35 front. I want to lower it (H&R). Will I rub?? I hope you see this message because I can’t get a solid answer from nobody and you seem very knowledgeable! Thanks man
Definitely not a t55, that’s a triple square bolt in the rear. And definitely don’t hold your hand between the spring coils while compressing and releasing springs
Hey I have a c205 2017 4matic with 20” wheels. Do u think mine will rub? I’d really appreciate your help as I just got the same springs but debating for my install tomorrow.
Park your car on a hill and at an angle. Distribution of weight will naturally be loaded to the corner downhill. Opposite corner will naturally be less heavy unloading the suspension. This is jr high education level my friend. Your comment makes you look like you failed a few grades.
@Raphael Dayrit that cosine angle would not have made a difference to your application and forces being applied...unless a significant additional weight was per inch. Your comment tells me your response can't take a criticism and fail at customer service.
@@edwinthomas618 on a flat surface the fronts were half an inch lower than the rear. And on my drive way the left rear always sits lower than the right rear. On the road, levels out all 4 corners. So your statement is false regardless

Thanks man. I just put H&R lowering springs in mine and it was easy thanks to your video!
Glad it helped!
i just installed some on my c300 but they make a lot of noise every time i turn or go over a bump, any suggestions?
@@elbrody2001 mine does that too it’s like a creaking noise did you find the issue?
I have the same vehicle and will be lowering also, but I'm gonna stuff 20s in there! Thanks for the information!

The name of the tool is called a "triple square bit" size M12. Great video!
Thank you for that correction!

DAMN! That c300 looks🔥🔥🔥
So much to learn from your channel... keep up the good work !
Thank you! I was looking for this for a while.
Ooh Boy, I'm about to go in today!! .2 can compound exponentially, depending on how fast you're taking that turn :P
Hey brotha love your video. Only thing I can correct is w205 does not go any lower than 2015. The w205 model year runs from 2015-2019, w204 is 2014.
Good to know! Ty!
@@DriftMagic Of course keep up the good work! Would love more w205 upgrade videos :)
Amazing video love the car can’t wait to see what’s next
are those 19" wheels? or 18"? car looks sick! just ordered some H&R springs myself :)
Great video - I did mine too using your video! Thanks.
Great vid. I'm planning to buy these springs and bilstein shocks.
Do we have a link that will fit a 2018 C300 4door 4Matic variant?
Are springs bad for your suspension? Will it over strain them and mess them up in the long run
nice, i have 18s also with 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. thanx for the video.
Came out great quick question were you able to get an alignment after you lowered it?
I wonder what made Mercedes switch to double wishbone suspension on the w205
i love these card they body style and the interior are on point !! so sexy car specially if lowered !!
You should jack up the wheel as if the car is on the ground before tightening up that back nut, or it will put stress on that ball joint
Odd my h&r springs lowered my car in the rear almost like 1.5 inches and does not rub.
Great video! ❤️
🙏🏽 thank you!

I have a 2018 C43 Coupe and on the rear getting that lower bolt out on the control arm was a pain because it hit the exhaust on the coupe!!
Yea, if you don’t drop the exhaust a little it’s definitely a pain lol
did you have to move the exhaust for the passenger rear side to take the bolt out?
Yea I think I used a jack and moved it up to access the bolt
Love this car!! ❤️
No issues with the stock struts? You don't have to swap those out right?
I have a W212 e350 and cant find one where they do the rears. I wonder if your w205 is similar to my w212
Was it bouncy ? While riding . Because my stock 300 is bouncy AF
Definitely not a t55, that’s a triple square bolt in the rear. And definitely don’t hold your hand between the spring coils while compressing and releasing springs
I installed springs on my c43 and am now hearing a clunking noise when under 25mph from the front is there something I did wrong? Any suggestions?
How is it now? I want to lower mine and how has yours driven?
you only need to remove the swaybar. Do not need to remove the upper arm.
It would have been an excellent video if torque specs were mentioned.
What’s offset are the wheels? And what size spacers r u using?
great video, but lowering like that do the tires rub on the inner wheel wells when going over bumps?
Surprisingly even with the aggressive offset no rubbing even on bumps or full compression on hard turns!
thanks for the reply keep up the good work
Nice car!!!!
Yesssssaaaaa
Thankyou!
what size wrench for front suspension with TORX?
Please help 😀
Do you need to worry about alignment after doing a job like this working on the suspension
Yes. Let the car settle for a few weeks after fitting the springs and then get an alignment
Hey I have a c205 2017 4matic with 20” wheels. Do u think mine will rub? I’d really appreciate your help as I just got the same springs but debating for my install tomorrow.
The 18s I have are very close so to make that work you’d have to have very small series sidewall for sure.
Tire sizes and rims 18x? Thanks
where can u rent them \
Oooh I like!!
Can you tell me your tyre sizes bro?
what rims are those?
I installed my h&r but it sits lowered more from rear then front any ideas why?
For me as well, the rear was always was sitting lower then I replaced the rear shocks and it sits more even now.
That’s common on a lot of cars and lowering springs. It depends on your model. Weight can be different from front to rear.
Noiiice
Me likey
someone sell me their front pair of springs
Level is level...slope doesn't matter. lol
