Great video and TY. I watched it to get a general idea to replace upper control arms(with camber adjustment) on a 19' GLC63 with air suspension and 4matic and it was very helpful. Should video the drivers side showing the 2 plastic nuts holding fuse box, then fish out the fuse box to hand access the the 16mm nut closest to driver. That's the hardest part of the whole job but easy once you have space! I have good pictures.
This is really useful. When changing the CV axle, I and other UA-camrs have tried to avoid disconnecting lower control arms. I thought it would be difficult like it is on an Audi. I see Mercedes uses something like a 45 degree taper, so the arm comes right out instead of being pressed in tightly. It doesn't look like there's enough space to get a ball joint separator in there, but clearly it's not even needed. Just need the T45 and 24mm wrench, no big deal.
My C400 needs a suspension refresh soon because Boston roads are trash. So happy you guys made this video! Hopefully you guys stock the air suspension that was briefly offered too :)
Helpful tip, the nut in the engine bay on the driver side is under the fuse box. Remove the two bolts holding the fuse box and lift the fuse box out of the way to access it.
@fcpeuro I have 2013 S550 with some heavy low speed vibration going in at 111k miles. I've shopped around for complete kit online. I found kit around $430. Just wondering what is the turn around time is on this job? For labor cost. Great video.
A couple tips. Don't use your torque wrench for the extra 180 degrees. You might reach torques that damage the wrench, depending on the type of wrench. Also, the sway bar end link nut is 18mm. You used a 19mm wrench and it worked, but 18mm fits better.
The lower control arm to axle carrier bolts are torque to yield, so they are one time use bolts. Need to make sure you order new ones from Mercedes. Do not reuse the these bolts.
What Symptoms Would you encounter to warrant replacement of these Control Arm Parts? I Have About 88K Mikes and Having Vibrations at 50/60MPH and above.. Not Sure if I'm Supposed to have that Vibration at that Mileage Or It's Something Else. 2014 C300 AWD.
Hi Solution to the stiff amg suspension on the w205? Any way to make it softer to soak bumps and bad roads better? Bought the w205 c200 with amg suspension not knowing it's so stiff
Thanks a lot for that valuable video, but if you please, can you make another video showing how to replace the left upper control arm, because it’s so confusing that one of the nuts is very deep and hidden by the fuse box and other components!!! It seems to to be impossible to reach that stupid nut without removing tons of parts in the way!! I’ll appreciate it if you give me a hint on this because I’m planning to to do this job on this weekend.
Hey 👋🏾 , any chance you could help me repair the fuel sender and pump of a w211 where the half of the tank will completely be used up to the point where the engine shuts of yet the other side is full , a fix rather than a replacement would be great, I live in a remote area you see 😪
Why is every car so clean like it's never been driven in this garage, fuck me I live by the sea side and you would never have a video like this if mine was on that lift I tell ya, never seen a car that clean under in my life if not a show room, interesting 🤔

This so helpful my friend, did you try doing this? because I’m planning to do mine this weekend.
@@shadiel-najdawi8898 I did. This job is not too hard as long as you have the right tools and lots of patience.

Thank you so much, that was really helpful. I’ll do it that way and let you know how things were going.
Excellent MB Suspension Lesson ! Thanks for sharing !
Our pleasure!

Thanks for the information. Was very helpful. saving me tons of time looking for the right sockets.
Thanks for such a great informative video. You explained very well.
Thanks for such an informative tutorial. You e pla Ed so well.
Great video! But some W204 content would be nice 🥲
It's a very nice presentation. A Mercedes dealer would ask you to pay $ 5,000 and leave the car for at least a week.
That's a lot. The shop near me quoted me $2400
Huge Fun, No doubt
Thx Kyle
Well done video. Thanks for making it.
Greta video. Any comprehensive video like this that you would recommend for W212?
Amazing video... thank you
Glad you liked it!

Do you have a video for a lower control arm replacement for a 2016 Mercedes Benz S-600 Maybach?
Great videos. Would you happen to have a video for 2016 Mercedes c300 4 matic w205 rear camber adjustment?
Thank you for watching. That is currently not something we have available at the moment!
I don’t think the 205 has camber adjustment. Only front and rear toe. At least on my c63S it’s a fixed -2.2 camber.
Great video. Does anyone know the Newton Meter for the screw holding the subframe to the chassis of 2019 C43 AMG?
wedge the ball joint out that's the hardest bit
nice video thanks, where did you get there Newton torque list from regards Luke Netherlands.
What the name of that warch or soucket that not letting the ball join from spinning counter hold ? Exact name of the tool thanks
Torque specs for the E18 sway bar bracket bolts?

Get softer tires. I replaced my tires and it made a world of difference.
Is this McPherson or double wishbone?
Good job bro 💪🏾😎
Do you guys plan to do a similar video with the w212? Seems like you started to address the platform and then nothing after.

Hi Shadi, having a long wrench to feed down to counter hold with will be very helpful!
@@fcpeuro
I have that wrench, but the problem is that this nut is hidden and cannot be reached in any angle

i have a 2011 e350 covertable. is it ture u have to trouqe the lower control arm bushing side while the wheel is on and on ground level
That's correct Robert! By doing exactly as you said, you'll ensure that the bushing isn't under constant preload when on the ground.
How much for the piece and how much is it to get it fixed?.. just a rough estimate
my c class 180d have also the same config
Do control arm bolts need to be replaced. Torque is specified both in NM and angles which could mean that the bolts are stretch bolts?
Having a secondary angle often means its stretch to yield - so we'd recommend replacing the bolts.
Is there any major differences with the W205 C63 AMG on this job?
Bump?
Can you show how to replace a heated oxygen sensor on a w205 c300
Hey Omar, we can certainly add it to our list of DIYs.
Thank you somuch👍🏻
Who got info on lemforder suspension? I heard they don’t last long.
FCP Euro is the best.
thx kyle
Happy to oblige!
E30 please 👍👍👍
90 ft lbs or 90 Nm? 26:53
Sorry for that, Ashley, the graphics should say 90NM.

👍👍
You do know uve said 50nm for the upper control arm and wrote a different figure in the video
Lemforder parts are better far away than the oem s
Where are you located?
We are located in Milford CT.
You’re using chrome sockets on an impact!!! 😂
Kyle is out of control.
not for amg suspension
Definitely not for C43...
The longer Iv look at this video very good by the way, is how clean the hole car is my god does anyone drive them or are they all video cars 🤔 fuck me
We primse this was daily driven haha!
You're applying force, not pressure. First rate video.
