I started making this video with one idea in mind which was making a snowflake ornament with fake snow that is sold to decorate little villages or trains around trees. I wanted to know what it would do in resin. While they were setting up, I was cleaning and pulled out my box that has a variety of random items I plan to put into resin and found a small container of metal shavings. I thought these would look great in the ornaments and proceeded to use them the next day. I later found some bags of colorful chips and after seeing how the first two came out, I just had to explore these with the snowflake because of the angles. From there, I wanted to make one with spent cases and settled using the 3 different sizes of 22 cal. cases I had on hand. All of these turned out great and I love how the light shines on and through them. I want to explore more and may in the future. I hope you enjoyed seeing these come to life and explore your own creative ideas with some of the molds. Here are the links if you would like to pick up any of the items I used in this video.
