Just a note for Mark, spells like slow that say "up to X amount of creatures" or "creatures of your choice" won't affect teammates inside the spells area unless you want it to. Fantastic job on the series though!!!
It's kinda funny that the knolls are invading a vineyard to stealing and eat the grapes, because grapes are actually really deadly to dogs. So they're poisoning themselves!

Just binged through all the High Rollers Aerois episodes. Just wanted to thank you all for giving me hours of entertainment through this tough time. The campaign is amazing and the story telling and role play is outstanding. I love the combat as well and hopefully I can one day catch you guys live. But until then stay safe and roll high.

Man, this episode should have been called "Wack a Gnoll"
I'm normally not up for criticizing the dm and I know it's not malicious but if you are gonna get on your players to read their spells like novas slow and you just read the spell you also need to know how it works. I don't think a dm needs to know how their players spells work. But if you just read it you need to go slow enough to understand it.
The roll20 auto advantage can be changed by clicking the settings wheel next to the spells tab on the character sheet. You can change it to toggle advantage.
Fat Knoll made me think of Scrappy Doo in the live action Scooby Doo movie, somebody call Lillard.

Theory I've been thinking of. So hadar is like consumption manifest and seems to infect those who become consumed by something eg the gnoll's greed or herald's mission and desire to live. Is it possible that starbane will become hadar/infected by hadar? He's being consumed by his single minded obsession to defeat hadar and maybe the more he goes down this fanatical route, the further into hadar's influence he falls.
Hadar can't eat you if you eat _him_ first. Big brain Starbane.
oh, 110,000% this. This is exactly what i am worried about with starbane. he can still be redeemed, but if he does do this, if he does take the engine, if he does use the engine, he will be consumed compleatley by hadar, if he is not already.. or worse he will become hadar or something much worse.
I also think Starbane is Hadar afflicted... but I'm more confused by his plan; Defeat god of infinite hunger by feeding it. How does that even make sense???
@@asherandai1000 i also dont think it does. that is why my immediate reaction to hearing that was no there is no way in hell that would work. it can not work. i can guarantee that his plan will only give hadar enough power to be freed. whether stabane knows that and is only pretending to want to kill it or not i dont know.
if not then he is so underestimating hadar it is ridiculous.
killing something by overfeeding it is possible but not with hadar not with anything existing and not with anything any mortal could make.
he is also overestimating the power of the engine.
i think what i does not want to loose is siaskas life is own life and or valas.
the next question to the eye had to be what was siascas plan for killing hadar that starbane was so opposed to.
@@Markcrazeer Well Prime made it pretty clear that killing Hadar wouldn't work anyway. Another God would just become Hadar. So the only option I see is to seal him away again.
Regarding Nova's newest surprise... Hologram? How about "light energy construct"? Sort of like a lesser representation of an Eterna? Tiangon could do that. That way it is not too necromantic by being a spirit. But not too sci-fi by being a "hologram". Physics without mythology. Just a thought.

It's the Dynamic Lighting function, which is optional. Other method is called Fog of War. Imagine you know this now after 9 months of lockdown anyway 😁

the 6 included the +3 con she rolled a 3. BUT they shouldn't have had multi-attack cause slow only lets 1 attack
The +3 is already added in the 6, if Trott were to hover his mouse of the 6, it would look like this {3+3[CON]}=6

1:03:50 just noticed at this point while rewatching and not sure if I'm missing something but was Katie missing hits that should have connected because of not updating stats? +4 strength mod, +4 proficiency, +3 from raging should be +11 to hit shouldn't it? plus if howling tempest gives a bonus as well, seems like she might not have updated for proficiency since the earlier levels if she's only getting +9 to hit

DnD where people spend half an hour on a 3 second decision. Lol I feel like if they didn't constantly try to over think. They would be much better off. Aila had the best idea and it was just pushed aside because it was too simple. The best plan is not always the most complex. Love you guys keep up the great campaign.
since when did the goliath work for hadar? when did we figure that out? do the remnant work for hadar? i am sure he worked for the remnant to bring vala to them.
The Goliath was a hired hand by the “red lady” or who ever she was that they never met cause of the Abby. The red lady wanted vala to get the money reward.
So I guess the idea is he was a hadar agent and maybe she was. As far as them figure it out well in reality probably now but in the party’s world probably after finding out the one in the forge was an agent they would of thought back to the Goliath.
