Can hardly wait. If anyone wants to see this and other Puppetoons restored and released on Blu Ray, follow the link in the description. A frame by frame restoration of these films from the original elements takes both time and money to get done right. So, please follow the link to send your support and make this happen.
I would love to revisit The Little Broadcast. Can't seem to find it anywhere to view. I have memories of it engrained into my brain and would love to be able to rewatch it.
If you remember a few puppetoon shorts that featured the same brutal Screwball army in "Rhythm in the Ranks" and "Tulips Shall Grow", you'll get the piece of lore how General Nutt (the one you're viewing is a nut bolt figure with a belt of ranks who is the commander of the Screwball Army) and his army started all of mass destruction due to the declaration of war with the nutcrackers in the 1941 short, Rythmn in the Ranks.
I remember seeing this as a kid back in the 1960s.
Breathtaking.
Beautiful
Hello Puppetoon Productions!
Warner Bros may have shown Nazis getting malleted by Daffy Duck, but only George Pal had the guts to show Nazis burning books.
It looks real!
Any plans on restoring Tubby the Tuba [1947]?
Keep an eye on the Facebook Puppetoon support page Will. Volume 3 comes first. facebook.com/groups/1492382027551288
Why is there a big jump-cut at 1:00?
That cut was done by George Pal when he made the film in 1943 and is part of the original Technicolor negative that we preserved and restored
Where is the complete cartoon?
You will find the complete restored Bravo Mr. Strauss on The Puppetoon Movie Volume 3 Blu-ray ~ puppetoon.net
(it represents the Bolsheviks btw)
No....The Screwball Army was Pal's parody of the Nazi invasion of Holland and the rest of Europe
Excuse me, where can I watch it online?
None of the current Puppetoons we are restoring are available online. But you can buy "The Puppetoon Movie Volume 3" with Bravo contained among the 5 hours of content here: puppetoon.net ~ Thanks
