As an Abd developer myself Eclipse, no we are not fine with abd clones, might as well let that be known, but we also do not care all that much for assets we dont use anymore (like literally stuff from 4 years ago) which is mainly what the abd clones use. Because we are currently working on the Abd 4.0 update which has entirely new assets and is the update that will overhaul the entire game for the better in both quality and scripts, its completely unrecognizable from the original Abd i'd say so i hope you look forward to it, also nice video by the way, loving the content although i gotta say im confused why you are being recommended these awful games lol

just so you know (not defending the game, its still pretty bad) you were playing on the april fools update, where (for some reason) they disabled skipping the intro and messed around with the npc's dialogue. anyway dont ddos this im watching pluh oh btw that last wave was also april fools, i guess devs just make their games unplayable as a joke now.

Also surprise surprise, an april fools update (which existed for like 2 days) made the game harder for the laughs. Note: people have beaten hardmode during the april fools event, it's very much playable.

Just saw this video and decided to give some statements from myself since I am one of the few who have been playing Inevitable Town for a very long time now. While it does seem like the game is "unfair" and "poorly made" multiple ways, I should point out that the game has basically just recently been flooded with players (roughly 2 months ago). Prior to that, the only people who played the game were only 10-20 people (including myself) and that for the entirety of the game's existence. The game was barely updated ever because there were absolutely no complaints from us 20 players, simply because it never bothered us. Regarding the "tutorial" I agree it is quite useless and uninformative. This can be reasoned by the fact that it was not made in a way that supports newcomers (especially if they are planning on playing it on their own). When I was introduced to the game by two friends of mine, I got my information from them, not Tom. The combat in Inevitable Town is OK. It has it's issues, yes, but if you have absolutely no idea how to fight in this game, that won’t take you anywhere. This game wasn’t made like Deepwoken, where the other enemies just patiently wait their turn while you fight another. You are meant to attack multiple enemies at the same time if the situation allows it, a prime example being a swarm of pot minions (in your case, where you decided to fight them one by one). In terms of "exploring" I am pretty sure it is not meant too literally. The developers most likely did not just mean "walk around and look for stuff" but also "try things out and see what works". As there are also recipes that are not listed in the recipe manual purposefully. One of the main "exploration" parts of the game for instance is obtaining fighting styles, as there are different obtainment methods for each and every one. Of course, experimenting with everything is also included into exploring, such as "what do I do if I am faced with these enemies in this situation" or "what is my next move if I know I’m being cornered". If your plan is always to just hit once and run, you are definitely not getting anywhere any time soon. Take my word for it. Finally, the game only has 3-4 people working on it. It is not their fault that they don’t have an entire company’s worth of people working on a singular lego game. On top of the fact that the game was basically just for a small "friend group" of sorts. See it as a game that recently released. It’s not perfect. Those are my thoughts on this video. There’s nothing else for me to say really. PS: Even if you got the materials for an arrow, you lacked a cross to get potential. The arrow would’ve killed you. Also, you can press J to skip the tutorial, although that hint only shows up when playing in a multiplayer match for some reason.

As someone who has 53 hours on the game (and still cant beat the game solo because i suck), I agree and so do the devs who want to make a better game though dont say they're "hiding the stands", and argue that it's because they stole the assets of ABD, the stands are coded by Mari, one of the developers them using the assets of ABD is mainly a challenge for them and not helpful because of how badly its made (literally like 34 scripts just for a different type of damage)

Some things to note: This was the april fools version of the game you goober, it said so on the main menu in yellow text. The reason a lot of shit is blocked off is because it's to prevent you from doing some stuff before beating the tutorial and getting things before you even start wave 1 (BTW in the settings on the menu page there's an "Auto Skip" tutorial setting. The game has random events that can happen (I.E. a cryptid boss that spawns at that beach cave that you gotta fight if you complete a wave during the night), also the armless guys I think were one of them. Also there are a few things to find, for example, specs in this game are basically replacements for standless that you can get by doing various things, for example: Kill the final boss with a rock to get a spec based on pokemon (The joke is that you "caught" the boss with a "pokeball"), you can get Black Leg by making a bunch of salads in one round (I think the number is like 20-25?), but the main way to get them is through the optional bosses. In the library (that opens once wave 1 starts), theres an NPC you can talk to that will take you to an arena that can have 1 of 3 bosses: Big Hoss from Rouge Lineage(Kill him to get Oni, do it without taking damage to get Shadow Dio), this knight guy (I forgot his name but he gives you some minions), and this magic casting guy named Dom (Gives you the ABA fighting style, it's legit just ABA's movement and basic combat lmao). You are also rewarded with your choice of an arrow or a cross (gives a stats buff and allows you to get a stand without risk of death). Also I noticed you complain a lot about not getting weapons or stands, you realize you could of make a spear in the caldron, right? It's legit one of the first recipes in the book and trivialized early waves thanks to it's ragdolling, piercing F move. Oh and BTW, the game is designed to be played with friends, maybe if you got a couple of buddies and actually tried to enjoy the game a bit instead of being a 800 headed goober and diving in all alone looking for anything to nit pick (as you do) ((Seriously whens the last time you had something unironically nice to say about a game???)), you would of enjoyed it a bit more. I'll be the first to admit it's not a well made game, but it's not that bad as a party game or with friends.
ABD is reworking the entire game so clones will go entirely obsolete and the reason ppl copy abd is because some rogue dev just straight up gave away the code because they got fired I think
i think now that abd is reworking all their assets or atleast most of them in their 4.0 update they might not care as much that other dev teams are outright yoinking their older assets (anymore).

Also there are a few things to find, for example, specs in this game are basically replacements for standless that you can get by doing various things, for example: Kill the final boss with a rock to get a spec based on pokemon (The joke is that you "caught" the boss with a "pokeball"), you can get Black Leg by making a bunch of salads in one round (I think the number is like 20-25?), but the main way to get them is through the optional bosses. In the library (that opens once wave 1 starts), theres an NPC you can talk to that will take you to an arena that can have 1 of 3 bosses: Big Hoss from Rouge Lineage(Kill him to get Oni, do it without taking damage to get Shadow Dio), this knight guy (I forgot his name but he gives you some minions), and this magic casting guy named Dom (Gives you the ABA fighting style, it's legit just ABA's movement and basic combat lmao). You are also rewarded with your choice of an arrow or a cross (gives a stats buff and allows you to get a stand without risk of death). Also I noticed you complain a lot about not getting weapons or stands, you realize you could of make a spear in the caldron, right? It's legit one of the first recipes in the book and trivialized early waves thanks to it's ragdolling, piercing F move. Oh and BTW, the game is designed to be played with friends, maybe if you got a couple of buddies and actually tried to enjoy the game a bit instead of being a 800 headed goober and diving in all alone looking for anything to nit pick (as you do) ((Seriously whens the last time you had something unironically nice to say about a game???)), you would of enjoyed it a bit more. I'll be the first to admit it's not a well made game, but it's not that bad as a party game or with friends.

so, fun fact, i clicked on the game to check for myself how bad it is, and i read the game description right, and then i see...a roblox feature i guess? it told me to translate to the original language, and when i clicked on it...i realized the "roblox translation"(?) of the game description erased a line that said "press J to skip the tutorial".
