Just a fyi, starving artist isn't owned by game fam at all. I'm a dev at double bandit studios and the relationship between the game and gamefam is nothing more than a collaboration. :)

Idk how gamefam gets so many properties, hell, I'm pretty sure Bloxburg's owner sold the game to the people behind Borderlands awhile back, and I know they sure as hell would make some killer games with some of the properties that've ended up on roblox.

as an avid funky friday player, I HATE GAMEFAM!!! the original devs cared about the game and the rules abided by Funkin’ Crew Inc, they added mods for the game with permission from the developers of the mods, ever since the sonic prime stuff the game went on a 1 year hiatus in which it returned at the very end of 2023, now in this year it is still getting updates but much less frequently than it used to, it seems that Lyte Interactive (the original devs) have more control over the game now, but the recent clan feature added to the game still feels really gamefam-y, it’s also super obvious to tell what gamefam did and didn’t do, they added morphs to the game and I have not seen a single person use them (there’s also only 3 of them)
yeah I hope Lyte gets full access back to the game, but I don’t know if there’s a single case of a developer getting their games back from them
it's really sad. I've only played Funky Friday once, and quit after like 2 minutes, but I definitely played FNF fangames at the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022. It's sad to hear what crap gamefam has turned the game to.

I remember how FF (Funky friday) was popular back n the day. About 50k online and roughly 2 week-ish updates with hella new songs and choices, mechanics and animations. Now it just says it was updated, but in reality they just remove all the songs from there, including original fnf weeks 1-7. Tell me this isn't just "there is an inch of our *'creation'*, let's take it down"
well they had to remove every fnf asset due to the fnf devs actually cracking down on Lyte for their monetization, but yeah, the game definitely felt like it was being cheated by gamefam's decisions

the moment where they crossed the line is when they bought Funky Friday. That’s one of my most played games, with 100+ hours, and it’s what got me into FNF.
A few minutes I thought what were they thinking when they lines up the cross and what did they think when they made Fnaf free. This is twice the size of my least favorite games that are playable. As well as -211 days and that's why I was put onto the Fnaf team

Gamefam former employee here, worst 8 months of my life and I honestly preferred my miserable Restaurant Depot job over working for them. I'd fight both corporate and management on the smallest amount of off time, I worked through my great grandmother's funeral, I worked through my niece's birthday party, and I hated the crunch, something I was promised wouldn't be a concern when I was hired.

I hate this company so much, but it’s hard to speak out about it in my friend group because my friends play Sonic Speed Simulator and have each spent at least 50 dollars worth of robux on the game, it doesn’t matter if I tell them to just stop because of the company, they’re just like “I don’t care” or “I’m the reason the underpaid workers get paid they could get a raise!” and ignore the fact that there’s more of a chance the big suits get more money rather than the underpaid workers getting more money…

i used to play military tycoon, a cool game it was, cool map, cool vehicles etc, it was somewhat interesting to play and it only had 3 gamepasses how i remember. Now it has a ton of gamepasses that cost usually more than 400 robux, battlepasses, smaller maps, disballanced vehicles and a new tycoon map where you always only have 1 button to buy, i guess it was made so you waste more time walking around from one side of your base to other to buy a decorative box
There's War Tycoon. I found it a few months back after not playing Military Tycoon for a few years and it's so great I thought that it was MT.
FNF Devs not allowing people to make fan games with microtransactions would be understandable but then you realize that they scammed their community out of millions of dollars 😭

Fact : all star wasn't made by gamefam they are just partner with the dev (Can clearly see this because anime character in game needed to change name and look ) They being partner for gamefam event and the anime character change look is also character gamefam own

Voldex is also annoying. In Dungeon Quest, a game i've loved since it was made, which they bought recently, the updates have been very grindy, unpolished, adn adding more p2w aspects. Sometimes purchases literally don't work. Also, the new Rings they added, which don't fit the style of the game at all, have been found to be most likely AI GENERATED

Hey this is my fuckin company thats screwing over my brother, hes a dev for SpongeBob simulator and gamefam is still paying him unfairly for his work because he also helped on recent collaboration with nick in the game and he only got payed about 100 dollars when gamefam said he was going to be payed about 3'000 dollars

They’re doing pretty good with Driving Empire now, they keep getting licenses to add real-life cars to the game and I feel like majority of the player base has regained their trust in Gamefam dealing with DE.
