You need to use a temp prob to check for doneness. Also, turn your meat over at the half mark and it will cook more evenly. I just bought a 4 qt Gorman air fryer and have cooked a variety of food. So far, I really love it! Cleanup is a breeze. I understand you should also do a deep clean (no matter the brand) once a month. Videos will show you how. I hope you will enjoy it as well as I have! It is smaller overall but still has plenty of capacity. It crisps the food better. You don't get one side soggy if you forget to turn it over. It is pretty quiet, easy to use, easy to clean, and works great. It chimes to alert you to functions, like when to turn over food that benefits from that. The automatic pre-heat is great. The display is large and easy to read, the light inside is actually useful. The window is worth the extra $10. It looks good sitting out on my counter. I haven't been this happy with an appliance for a long time. Good value for money.
I don't know why all air fryer beep so loud for every touch. The manufacturers should have made this optional for those of us that don't like all the beeping lol I'd honestly rather have an analog one vs digital for this reason.

I used mine 1 time for bacon. Attempted to use a second time and it won't do a thing but make a buzzing sound.
