OMG you reacted to F(x) I'm so happy!! Okay so a little information. F(x) debuted in 2009 with their song Lachata. The members are according to hair colour: Blonde-Krystal (she also has a sister in Girl's generation named Jessica who "left" the group in 2014), Red-Amber, Black hair/short bob hair cut-Victoria (the leader of the group and she is the one you like), Green short hair-Luna, and Sulli-brown long hair (she left the group in 2014). As for the concept, F(x) don't have a concept really. When SM first debuted them back in 2009 it was said that this group was going to be extremely experimental which is proven right because none of their comebacks are similar. Till this date I believe their album Pink Tape released in 2013 and 4 walls released in 2014 are considered one of the best albums made in Kpop EVER. So, you'll also notice this explains why Red Velvet have a lot of experimental music like Zimzalabim because they were meant to be F(x)'s sister group but then they kind of just ended up having red and velvet concepts which you already know. F(x) were very popular around the time when electric shock was released back in 2012. But when Red light released in 2014, since Sulli left and Krystal's sister Jessica "left" Girls Generation it caused a huge scandal so this single didn't get the potential it deserved. They have gotten a lot of hate because of their unconventional songs. You'll hear a lot of people say that their music was ahead of its time which is correct because some of their singles would've been appreciated more if they released now like Red light.They haven't made a comeback since 2015 and SM has basically abandoned them for various reasons. You know - the chorus sounding super chaotic actually makes SO much sense with the lyrics. The lyrics are talking about giving a warning about something terrible that is to come, so the “red light” is telling you to stop and think. It’s something to that effect, I don’t remember it entirely, but it just clicked in as you said the “chaotic” comments. Also explains a lot of the sirens in the chorus. Oh! Also! In the trio of SM Girl Groups (SNSD, f(x), & Red Velvet). Girls Generation is thought to be the pretty, Queen-like, oldest sister. F(x) are the cool, weird, and odd middle sisters. Red Velvet is the youngest sister that looks up to both sisters and steals their clothes.

It's really cool you're doing that serie of videos! Having all this new generation makes a lot of people forget about some really good old groups who are sadly not really active anymore (most of them). Plus it is really great you chose f(x), since it's exactly their 10th anniversary. As a long time MeU, I'm glad you liked them, I hope you'll continue to appreciate them as you go through their discography and get to know more about them! What is especially great about f(x) is that you can't really categorize them, every comeback is particular and doesn't resemble to any other "concept" or anything, it's actually what made me become a fan of them, it was refreshing watching something new and not the usual combo of concepts "girl crush" "sexy girl" and "cute girl" every other girlgroups switches between all the time. And the same goes for the members, as you watch them for the first time, in any of their MV you can immediately catch that all the 5 (sadly now 4) have their very own personality, aura and physical appearance, wich is, again, something you struggle to see often in kpop. They had advised the people inside the ferry to not leave the ferry till the light from red turn to green. Something that never happened which caused all the people inside to sink along with the ship. Moreover the captain and the crew all survived by living the ship and all the people inside. The sirens, the chaos are portraying so well what would be happening.. during the chorus you can also hear the girls making siren noises.. it’s just so well made.. and the lyrics phenomenal.
As much as I love all the girls, my Bias is Victoria too.. She is older than Taeyeon of Girls Generation, she was born 1987 🤣 she is Chinese and was discovered when she was in a prestigious ballet school wherein its really hard to get into, but she gave up her dreams to become a ballerina and went to South Korea to train and eventually debuted with FX. Her real name is Song Qian and she was named Victoria because SM ENT felt they won the lottery for having her.. 😍 She also happen to be the oldest kpop female artist of SM ENT and considered to be FX mom because her age gap with the members is really far. For example Krystal (blonde hair) debuted with FX when she was 15 😊 but Vic had to train prior debuting so imagine the age gap ♥️

f(x) don't have a set concept, all their videos and each one of their albums/eras/sounds are unique!! They were the first experimental group in kpop, popularized EDM and tropical house songs, and set the tone for many groups after them. Would love if you delved into their discography more, f(x)'s title tracks are amazing but they're particularly known for their b-sides, especially their last 3 albums (Pink Tape, Red Light, and 4 Walls!) As much as I love all the girls, my Bias is Victoria too.. She is older than Taeyeon of Girls Generation, she was born 1987 🤣 she is Chinese and was discovered when she was in a prestigious ballet school wherein its really hard to get into, but she gave up her dreams to become a ballerina and went to South Korea to train and eventually debuted with FX. Her real name is Song Qian and she was named Victoria because SM ENT felt they won the lottery for having her.. 😍 She also happen to be the oldest kpop female artist of SM ENT and considered to be FX mom because her age gap with the members is really far. For example Krystal (blonde hair) debuted with FX when she was 15 😊 but Vic had to train prior debuting so imagine the age gap ♥️
The girl you love most is short hair during these years. She also joined dancing programs. I promise you will like that toooooooooooo and sooooooooo much！！！！！！！

f(x) don't have a set concept, all their videos and each one of their albums/eras/sounds are unique!! They were the first experimental group in kpop, popularized EDM and tropical house songs, and set the tone for many groups after them. Would love if you delved into their discography more, f(x)'s title tracks are amazing but they're particularly known for their b-sides, especially their last 3 albums (Pink Tape, Red Light, and 4 Walls!) They have a diverse sound so I think it'll be easy to find something you like ^.^ Thank you for this reaction, king
