Lyrics:
I picked your legs down low to the ground
Lickin' all the sweat droppin' off of her heels heels
She walks my teeth too when she walks
I held you down
Oh missy you's a lot to learn
If you wanna cry bitch go do it alone
Don't take no dares/time no not for me
Just cut me out
You crept up like a disease
Lookin' like a girl who is tryin' to be seen
Your heart was tryin' to beat
Now get back in the river if you're talkin' to me
Well you thought you'd tear my skin from bone
Just 'cause it was cold and you needed a coat
Tell Jesus you're still diggin' a hole
Start digging now
You can't stop sleeping tonight
When you want to go home but you don't have a ride
No time, just takes one touch from me
My soldier's weight
And you were there
And I was every question that
Never had an answer
I see right through you
And never even noticed that
There always was a reason
That we were never meant to be left alone
And it feels like neverending
This feels like neverending
They combine jazz and punk so nicely
Is mathcore
it’s junk
Thanks bender ❤
@nikki11679 it sounds good to me
Where was the jazz? I legit don't know because every genre these days has sub-genres so I can't tell anymore :[
did they escape yet
Lmfao
They never will, but they keep PLANning.
John Dillingers escape plan was to shoot his way out of prison.
oh thats good to hear. thanks for the update!
They're breaking up... they finally escaped :/
Ahhhh 240p. My old friend.
Kevin The music video for this song by The Dillinger Escape Plan was added to UA-cam in 2008. So it’s an old video that has been around for a while.
Kevin yee
Hahahah
I have this video in 640p in my collection. I dont have idea why here is 240p
@@elitondimer upload it, you fool ! ;o)
I like the jazzy ensemble tracking behind the bands with the trumpets and that piano riff, blends nicely
David Enoch yeah , I dig that l'il bit of je ne sais quoi
You right. I love it too.
4 years later and I still feel you 💯✨
İt works really well - wondering if they ever get any horns to do it live, that'd be sick
Fun fact: The guy who played the trumpet on this track is one of my oldest friends and was a groomsman at my wedding. He plays/played in a band called East Of The Wall, who consider DEP to be one of their influences.
I like the really abrasive DEP stuff for sure, but it's incredible how great they are when it comes to melody. I love it when extreme bands throw in melody because is just makes the abrasive stuff that much more powerful...because it's that much more deliberate. These guys are genius.
tbh I like the "softer" stuff more.(with of course, the usual dose of crazy rhythms and sounds)I'm not confident to say there shouldn't be some abrasive tracks, but not every track should be approaching noise either.
The clean voice chorus is cool but I'm here for the verse. 😎🤟
Very well said to OP.
@@dakat5131 Agreed. Milk Lizard and Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants are my favorites just because their slow parts, melodies and cleans are so damn good. I wish they did more of them tbh

Potato quality
1:26 the piano bit had me rolling on the floor that was so good lmao
I realized after a while it was basically their best attempt for a guitar solo played via piano 😂
DEP wrote some of the greatest melodies in rock history. The quality is further magnified by the way they make you wait for it, and allow the melody to be a consonant release after walls of dissonance. Absolute masterwork.
I feel Mike Patton's spirit in this track. He really stayed for a little bit longer with them
my band recently played at the same venue they played in 2006. the guy who ran the stage was telling us about how greg ripped up the ceiling and tore up everything. it was incredible and such an honor to play on the same stage as them!!!!
Cocaines a helluva drug
-0·0000000000830&*_1!
Such an innovative band. I love their softer side, especially other songs like Mouth of Ghosts, Unretrofied, Sick on Sunday, Paranoia Shields etc. This also is an amazing song
Me too!!im in love with this band ❤️too bad the band doesn't exist anymore 😔
@@user-xl9hl7cb4n I've been going through addiction lately and bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan give me the sense of release that I couldn't express on my own. Sad I can't ever see them but I'm thankful for their recorded music to fill that void.
It’s so cool how DEP can make both crazy mathcore songs and then more accessible pop-metal like this. And all of it is good
I saw these guys open for Mastodon last week. Honest to God, probably one of the sickest performances I have ever seen in my whole life...
"Last week" is now 11 years ago.
reading this comment in 2023 . i am kind of envious
@@Piitaa_Pain Yeah Its Wild!
I'm hella jealous! Did Brent come on stage for Horse Hunter?
10 years later Greg and Troy made a band. Comment aged to perfection
One of the most unique/original bands of the last 20 years
This is gotta be one of the best videos that has chair tennis in it.
I saw them live in a a small place in Sweden around the time this came out. One hell of a show. Got home from the afterparty in the morning and went to work like two hours later. That day felt neverending.
The Dillinger Escape Plan is one of the most talented bands around!
That chair reminds me of that bullet from the freak on a leash music video
Milk on a Lizard?
This literally screams 2000's.
his singing and screams remind me of trent reznor
@@filomenyhospis same
Lol, definitely
That's because your ears fucked
I really like these less mathcore-y DEP songs. They actually do a great job with both straight-ahead metal like this and more melodic stuff like 'One of Us is the Killer".
Definitely! What other less mathcore-ish songs by them do you like?
Stadiocade2 Their new "Happiness Is A Smile" song is definitely a less Mathcore-ish song and has a more Industrial metal sound to it.
this is the generic type shit that made me stop listening to DEP :( what a shame
I love all their material.
With you on this. Admittedly I only started listening to DEP about 5 years ago, but I can't get enough of their more melodic work. Mouth of Ghosts is an absolute masterpiece, it's like the 21st century bohemian rhapsody in that so many different styles intertwine in one song (not saying they sound the same but the approach is similar)
This song is so good it milked my lizard.
hahahahahahahahahaha nice one
ba dum tis
It isnt that good actually and the contruction of this song is fucked up xD
But actually
I mean thats the point but does it sound good
The chorus is like. Why? xD
One good riff though, so yeah, its something
Lol...you don't get it...go back to Slayer. Typical.
1:34 chair be like “making my way downtown...”
damn how hard did she throw that chair?
pretty hard I guess
around 57.6 km/h
Nater43 hard enough to reach grandma

THAT CHAIR IS A TABLE ....
what an infectious song .....
i think he should sing his regular voice more, he has a really good clean voice
True, I like the songs that he sings with his original/normal voice (or else my ears aches lmao).
this song is pure art, how could so many people dislike this?
The quality of the music greatly outshines the quality of the video ...
But... flying chair!
@@REX-gq6ur but 240p
These guys are AMAZING live. Saw them twice in the past week, so good.
This is the first time I've experianced any of their music and gotta say, I am blown away with the greatness!
ive been a fan for years...this song is very every time i die.. i love it
Listening to amazing music like this makes me sad that my area is full of a bunch of generic musicians.
This feels like never-ending indeed...DEP must have prophetically viewed how many times I'd be hitting that replay.
I dig the catchiness of this song. It was said earlier, they keep the technicality as well as pleasing the average ear.
Ire Works is great.
That’s one aerodynamic barstool
Oh my God! It's 2020, I don't have UA-cam Red, and I didn't get an ad before this video! Thank you Relapse Records, for not conforming with the monetizing sheep of society.
I honestly feel a bit sad that something like this has over a thousand dislikes. I mean, yeah, metalcore-ish sounding music can be alienating, but the guys did a sweet job.
I guess you either love them or hate them.
well now it doesn't have any dislikes :)
Mathcore
it's called tech-metal, you fucks.
It's Beyonce fans
2019 and still listening to this
I loved going from this to SOAD - the DEP show was so great, usual antics left me in stitches then ambled over to SOAD and had a blast. Best. Day. Ever.
Musical genius makes me happy. I thrive on it!
Wait, a DEP song that's mostly in 4/4 ? The fuck is this?
FallaciousScotsman It's so unlike Dillinger it's more Dillinger than anything they've ever done.
FallaciousScotsman it's called a radio friendly unit shifter
Yet it still has double kicks in it? Dillinger mate.
This is sooo strange and soooooo beautiful. I love Dillingers. I'm devastated that last year I couldn't get tickets to their final tour!
this came out 14 years ago, wtf. i remember listening to this in my buick lesabre custom that was given to me after my popop passed on a disc man connected with a tape adapter ... man, I got old. love this shit
Oh my GOD! How did it happen that I haven't heard THIS before? Now I just can't stop listening to this great song .
Lol 2:33 stops and casually waits for the light to turn green. Gotta respect the law, bro

Hell yeah, QOTSA, DEP, and Mastodon all at once is the raddest thing I've ever lived through
Saw this band open for afi years ago. Loved their set. Need to get more into them. So insane but so good
the best thing to come out of jersey, that was the escape plan all along
Gracias Shaun!!
greg puciato has one of the best voices
Will never forget this band, i miss you so much, guys! ;(
I saw them at Knotfest in WI and Greg Puciato grabbed my head and screamed this song in my face. Beautiful moment in my life.
Sony vegas: This feels like never rendering, this feels like never rendering....
this is my all-time favourite comment on the whole youtube, ever.
i've seen it years before, and literally laughed my ass off. sadly, i have'nt made a screenshot, so, when i was chatting my friend around 1 am in the morning, who was rendering some video material, and i wanted to show this one to him (he's a really avid fan of dep), i had to scroll all the way down.
fuck, i remembered that this was a super-liked top comment, but no: zero fuckin' likes.
life is cruel as fuck.
@@radirfej4166Is this still your favorite comment?
They are badass. This was one of their Faith No More inspired singles. Listen past the songs with videos.
If this was a live show it would blow for Dillinger
I've known about TDEP for quite awhile now, but I never listened to them all that much. It was more of like an every now and again thing or if it came on pandora I was down, but now that I'm willingly putting them on more now, I have to say I can't stop.
Saints Row 2’s The Krunch 106.66, Gta San Andreas’ Radio X and Gta IV’s Liberty City Hardcore stations really expanded my music taste
The chorus... My feels hurt...
15 years later still a banger
best video quality relapse records can do? wow
all hail the mighty chair!
remember this track on SR2...ahh nostalgia
Here in 2022 and still amazed by this song
My Favorite song so far, im just getting into these guys and i litteraly listened to this song like 15 today haha!
If I was in DEP i would break so much surrounding stuff.
I like this band so much :)
the fill going into the second verse.. best part of the song
Got to hang out with Greg and the guys in LA and Phoenix for a couple shows. Super cool guys and Greg was very generous and down to earth. Bought me and my buddy a couple of rounds and we got to talk music, writing and had a killer time. Watching them live was a trip cause they do the same stuff live that they do in this video but never miss a beat.
Amazing song 🤘🤘
I remember listing to this all day on saints row 2
I knew about the insane techy math stuff from them before checking further into their biggest tracks. This is amazing! The trumpet is such a cool touch, good to see a band like this being so diverse!
Thx DEP
Stunning show and guitar carnage there :D
Greetings From Colombia
I'll miss em. First song I ever heard
Still jammin to this in 2022. Who else is listening still?

Took me a while to get into these guys. Now I can't stop listening to them.
I tried and tried and tried and couldn't do it. Then bought Calculating Infinity and Option Paralysis on vinyl, cranked them to 11 for a few hours and fell in love.
I saw them playing this live yesterday. I wish I could have been standing (I was sitting on the balcony), Greg pulled a kid who was crowd surfing and screamed right in his face. What I wouldn't give to have been that lucky shit!
Temazo!!
The first time I ever heard any mention of these guys was in Guitar World when
Ire Works was released. I managed to find a copy at BestBuy (of all places!)
and... WOW! Admittedly, this type of music is not for your average metalhead
but after repeated listenings I began to truly appreciate what it is that DEP does.
Since then I have downloaded Calculating Infinity, Option Paralysis and One of
Us is the Killer and I am convinced that this band is in a class all by itself. Sure,
they combine more "listener-friendly" elements into their "mathcore" style but
isn't that what makes it even more of a mind-f--k to listen to? Check out the
background horn section on this song... it turns this track into a New Millenial
version of the "Peter Gunn" theme. Well done gentlemen!
6 years later....Miss Machine.
love how this band uses there violent damneder great such an epic sound!!!! rock on
I remember watching this on headbangers ball while I was longing into my tumblr for the first time with Facebook on the previous tab in 2009
Damn I actually like these guys
Esta genial este grupo :D!
I definitely got extremely into all Dillinger stuff and have a penchant for extreme - but it really was this song that was their first HUGE earworm for me.
november cant get here soon enough and at the same time stay far enough away.
this is so catchy wtf
Que buena rola
those bands are all still hardcore dude :D they will never lose their hardcore status
I was every question that never had an answer... That shit is real bruh.
They went on before Mastodon at a show I saw and they were fucking insane! Just what I needed!
TDEP are a rare beast...a group that make sonically deranged music with no desire to be commercial... Sure the money is a great reason to try and be populist but the art should be the premier goal... I'm fairly sure TDEP like their "converts" and a mega buck deal would corrupt their ethos....
The Dillinger Escape Plan, the best band never to win a Grammy!
Love this Band...
such a beautiful song
How did I watch this years ago and not recognize Adam D starting the bar fight.
RIP Dillinger
Why RIP?
because they broke up
Not yet they haven't
because they're bad
+Mazrim Taim they are breaking up / retiring after 2017. Their last tour will go through mid 2017.
Definitely one of their best.
