I’ve been listening to Lou since the late 60s . He was singing at a club , the Hungry Eye , I ran out and bought his album. my all time fave is THE SHADOW OF YOUR SMILE! Stormy Monday ... lol Street hustlers blues... you’ll never know . my friends thought I was trying to be “cool!” But at 23 we were cool.. I had a great job, my own place, while most of my FriendS were married, I was single and partying . Hitting up clubs in San Francisco and checking out Lou Rawls at the clubs.
