Man makes “that what she said” joke… can sense his expression behind full face helmet. Brilliant. LOL
Haha! That’s what i like to hear!!
I agree they look much better in black Andy 👍👍
Thanks Dale. Definitely an improvement.
Don't use glue on the heated grips, use your good lady's hair spray. It works much better...
Thats a great tip.. Super Glue just seems soo wrong! 👍
If your hands get too cold, try Bark Busters on the handlebars. An "easy" fix!
Saved me typing with the hair spray tip, been using it for many years and never let me down.
The first time I used hairspray, as soon as it rained I ended up with a slippery mess and throttle grip that span around more freely than the wheel bearings! Superglue really isn't all that 'super' and is easy to get off (in this scenario). Way back when I had a set of R&G heated grips on the FZS600, the kit even came with a tube of super glue in it. You just have to be careful not to get it on anything (or let it go hard before you've got it in the right place... oo-er). But overall, use what works for you! As for the Bark busters, ua-cam.com/video/L14W7B_FKFU/v-deo.html I'm not sure that they suit the look of the bike overall. But I've still got them in case the weather gets too bad.
You can always remove the Bark Busters when the weather warms up again...
As to hair spray, _you're doing it wrong_ 😛😀. It's only a small amount and on the insulting tape (yes, I do know that's spelt wrong - it's deliberate!) that you wrap on the bars prior to sliding on the grips...
Cool vid! When we were kids we would turn our handle bars upside down for a cafe racer feel. I'm old way before clip ons.
Haha! Haven’t seen anybody do that for a while! Might have to try it for a laugh!!
Great video 👍👍
The left heated grip will be trying to warm the full bars up not just the heated grip
Thanks John. Yeah i probably need to try and get some insulation in there.
When I watch the Achtung Kontrolle videos (ua-cam.com/video/W8jADETcDNU/v-deo.html) the police stop bikers and pedantically check all upgrades and regularly find illegal brake levers, too small mirrors, loud exhausts, missing reflectors etc. They want to see upgrades registered in the logbook. Do you have to go through that rigmarole with your new bits ?
Absolutely yes. It’s a big deal here. Everything i fit, i make sure that it has the relevant paperwork so that it’s pre-approved for my bike. I can’t afford abs stress with the police!
Hello, I was wondering if you have the OEM weights inside the handlebars. If you dont how much has it increased the vibration of the handlebars?
I don’t, but the bar end mirrors pretty much add back the weight that removing the weights took away.
Looks much better don’t like silver bars talking of bars my radiator and engine bars arrived all the way from Italy and look great in black on my cb500x,just got the wife’s to install and hand guards are going to be silver with black shields.the element must be faulty in the left hand grip would have to swop that out.ride safe are summer is just starting loving the channel you work like me my engines bars on and off before I gots them right with the wife’s help reading instructions as I don’t know how too.
Cheers Malcolm. Glad you’re getting the bikes protected mate! I think the left grip might just need insulation from the bars. Will try and see what happens.
To complete install ABM synto levers and Motogadget mo.view mirrors, then it's perfect. :-)
I agree! I’ve actually now got small round mirrors (different brand, motogadget weren’t interested! 🤣) and Raximo levers. Very tidy setup.
Left grip straight onto metal, right grip insulated by plastic throttle so it will always warm quicker.
Yep, makes perfect sense. Though oxford seems to have made grips that are more or less even.
I have fitted all types of heated grips for customers over the years and using a infra red thermometer they all heat more on the throttle side, its just the way it is?
No doubt.
very good job... everything well feted. Congratulations
Many thanks David.
#silver bars(bells), sliver bars# Don Estel - Ain’t half hot mum. Man I’m old.
I show my age more and more with these jokes too! 🤦🏻♂️
What do you think..new Bars still better? :) Thinking about give it a try. Hmmm
Definitely! In the twisties, they're awesome. On the motorway it's a bit tiresome as the position is leaned forwards a bit more. Less wrist pain, but more backache! So I try to avoid the motorways!!
Ok 👍 Andy super 👌😀
Many thanks Chema.
Without you drilling anything into the bar, did you notice slight movement on any of the controls? I mean does it make it sloppy?
No, it was fine. You just have to give the controls something grippy to hold on to. Heat shrink or a bit of inner tube has always worked for me.
Not helping my German Andy what's Super Glue in German
Sekundenkleber ‚Second-sticker‘
Great video, Andy. Your persistence in the face of adversity is admirable. And you said "gubbins" twice so I'm right pleased.
Thanks John. I aim to please with the gubbins quota. 😜
Excellent video. I like those bars. Thanks for sending me the link.
My pleasure! They’re way better than the stockers.
Any chance you have the link to these bars anyone.
"We're getting a fair width increase - that ought to keep her happy". Ha! Almost missed that one...
That's NOT what she said! How could she miss it with that width!?!
Great video the bars look better than the stock bars stay safe looking forward to next one 🇬🇧👍🏻
Thanks Richard 👍 I totally agree. Vast improvement.
I’m sure your an amazing mechanic but that lovely tank needs a little cover 😀😀😀😀
You’re not wrong. Sadly there is a chip already. ☹️
Hi Andy. Great videos as always. I know you posted this in 2020. I iked the Daytona grips you put on. I just wondered if you still think they are good. I like the simplicity of them and was thinking of getting some. Keep up the good work. Nick
Hi Nick. They were good and the built in button was great. Though i did often switch the grips on or off by accident. Also they weren’t the most robustly built. Didn’t survive being moved again during my last handlebar swap.
Thanks Andy. Keep up the good work. Always enjoy watching your videos
When are you going to install the Bat-missed launchers?
Soon enough. Ordered some on Wish, but i have low hopes!
Love the Honda CB1000R, have a look at Hitchcock Motorcycle mirrors, they're top quality.
It's a great bike. I'm happy with the mirrors I've got cheers. Can only use one set at a time!
@@AndyManCam The thing about the Hitchcock mirrors, apart from the good looks and polished stainless steel, is that you can position them to stick out past the end of the bars, but they will fold back in on themselves when required. I'm thinking about getting a set for my next bike, because I'm sick of looking at my arms!
Thanks for the video.. love your tinkering! , and instructions!!
My pleasure! Happy to help!
Could you update the reflinks? Would like to order parts and would like you to have a kickback. But unfortunately most items are unavailable
Firstly, thank you kindly. Secondly, I’ll see what I can do!
Sorry mate, the stuff that's unavailable, is just unavailable! Thos mirrors were pretty old. You could probably just google the LSL X00 bars. Kickbacks aren't always possible! But cheers anyway!
Hi, thanks a lot for tying. Keep up the great content =)
Wider bars mean more space to fit all the gadgets? 😀
Ha! Ironic that I’m actually trying to have LESS gadgets on the bars! 😆
@@AndyManCam I'll believe it when I see it! Haha! 😄 I'm well aware that things often escalate rather quickly on this channel! I really enjoy your videos, thank you for them and stay safe!
Haha! I know right! But this time I mean it! I even went out recently for a weekend trip with no tank bag! I really am turning into a style-over-substance hipster with this new bike! 😆
Same issue with my Oxford heated grips. I 'think' it could be that metal on the clutch grip would absorb more heat than the plastic throttle tube? Thus making it appear to take longer to heat up when in essence it's heating the actual bar up? 🤷
Very likely. I remember that on the Oxford grips that I had on the Versys and FZ1N, they had an inner tube that meant both sides heated up the same. Shame these aren’t the same. Get what you pay for I suppose!
Interesting... an instructional video on how NOT to work on your motorcycle.. the bit with the glue... oh my! 😅 Those bar end mirrors and weights look bloody awful 😖
Nice video
But I wished it would be in german 😥
My English isn't good enough to understand all details
Vielen Dank Norbert.
Hope you can help me
Thank you very much 😊
My bike needs heated grips to prolong its' cold weather riding. Not on the grips I mean for its' engine. I love the winter but my bike hates it.
Oh dear! Maybe a couple of heated vests wrapped around the block?! 😂
Have we seen that classic boxer before?
Many times. It’s been there as long s as I’ve had this garage space. Only ever seen it moving once though.
I’ve missed those mirrors, they’ve been around for so long. 3000 miles in one month, I’m embarrassed to say I’ve done that in 3 years on my tracer 🤦🏻♂️.
Haha! I knew somebody would appreciate them! Seemed a shame to get rid of them or replace them! If you don't look too close, they look like new! I have special circumstances mate. Need the miles to make the vids! 😜
Nicely done mate. Of all the upgrades available, heated grips has always been my favourite 👍
Thanks! I totally agree. They're the single most enjoyable upgrade when you need them, and the first thing you notice when you don't have them!
Boa noite Andy! Moro no Brasil e tive um acidente com minha CB1000R Neo SC e não encontro peças aqui. Por gentileza poderia me ajudar por favor?
should've drilled the holes, those controls on either side WILL eventually start to move around....
Didn’t happen on the last 3 handlebar swaps i did!
Um you forgot to put back those plastic guards you had before.
Which plastic guards?
@@AndyManCam on your handlebars. The ones you had before that you fitted when you bought the bike.
Oh them ones! They wouldn’t look at all good with the bar end mirrors!
Put LSL bars on my Daytona, really nice quality stuff. Ended up putting some flat bar ends on from Oxford as the originals, similar size to yours, made it too wide, hampering filtering. It will be interesting to see if your bar end mirrors hamper your town commute?
Agreed. Solid bars and good looking too. I've actually just gotten some short bar ends from Highsider. Not so much due to the filtering (it's frowned upon here!) but more because the big ones look silly and they're going rusty!
Been looking at these as well as the Rizomo ones.. will see how you go with long term review of these Andy. Great tutorial as always buddy 👍
Cheers mate! So far pretty happy. Bike feels even more flickable than before and the bars look good. Thinking of actually trying to free up that extra 10mm of slack in the pipes and cables and putting the mirrors onto bar ends. Just to be as wide as possible!
You need to do a top tips video with tips from subscribers. TOPTIP no1 if your masking tape is stuck together stick it in the microwave for 30sec, sorted. no your welcome.
Hahaha! Thanks! So far it would be a top tips video of one tip! But it's a start!
32 Amps ?? That's more than my poor Versys is able to produce at all - leaving only 5 for auxiliaries... How much power does the honda have to spare?
I think the Honda has about 30 Amps too. Obvs the 32 amps is more of a Maximum than a target! The gadget is designed to work on anything with 12v, so accessories on big pickups is no trouble!
Really happy that I saw the Daytona heated grips. I first wanted to buy the original Honda for the CB1000R, but the price (just like you said :)) is indeed a bit too high. Then I was thinking about the Oxfords, but the Daytona have a much cleaner look as I also do not like the control panel. That means I also need to get the Thunderbox (which is built-in into the Oxfords) but with the Thunderbox I can also connect the GPS tracker again . (which was draining the battery)
They're certainly far more discrete. Although I would say that the Oxford grips have a higher quality feel. The thunderbox is great for the versatility though.
Whilst not intending to question your masterful tool handling skills (that’s what she...), it makes me nervous watching so much spanner and ratchet twiddling over such a shiny new tank! Looks smarter now though 👍
Cheers Stuart. You are of course absolutely right. I ought to take more care. I did actually chip it. 🤦🏻♂️🤮😱😭
Andy I’m interested in fitting these bars to my MT09SP. Can you be a good lad and measure the clamp area and the control area for me? The website doesn’t provide much measurements.
I'll try to remember next time I'm out there! You might have to remind me...
Pleased you didn’t edit all your faux pas out !!! 😂 don’t know why i needed to watched someone swapper their bars?? I suppose it gets dark early now in the UK !! However i too have the identical Wera socket set and never leave home without it under my seat !!! Thanks for keeping us entertained !!🙃
Haha! I've learned that nobody wants to see a job go smoothly! 😆 My pleasure entirely Ricky, thanks for watching!
Hi Mister Man Cam. I thought you would have used Loctite smeared on the bar. Will you ever be able to get the handgrip off again. From Worried! Edgy Biker Cop
Yeah, it’ll be fine! This is the third time I’ve used superglue, fourth if you include when it got stuck prematurely in this video!! 🤣
I’m such a grown up child.... Can you say Thunderbox in all your vids please AMC! 😁. Keep up the good work and stay safe Andy
Haha! I can certainly try! I know Healtech (and all the antipodean viewers) will be happy!
Have you thought about hand guards Andy? I'd love some on my Speed Twin but unsure about fitting them with the bar end mirrors.
Oddly enough Robin, I've actually got a set of SW-Motech handguards ua-cam.com/video/L14W7B_FKFU/v-deo.html but I found that they do look PROPER odd with bar end mirrors! But for the deepest winter months, I can just smash the stock mirrors back on and bung the handguards back on. 👍🏻
Nice sir
Many thanks indeed!
Nice Job Andy, your mechanical skills are on a par with mine, I always have to do everything at least twice! From personal experience ... If your grips aren't hot enough now in early autumn they definitely wont be hot enough in winter (that said, maybe you don't ride in winter?). My factory fit triumph grips were replaced with Oxford for that reason.
Haha! If a jobs worth doing, it’s worth doing twice! Don’t worry, the grips have got plenty of warmth. They’re just not even! 😅
Hi from Australia. We used to use hair spray then slip the grip on, you had a bit of time to move it where you needed it before it would harden up. Smelt good too
Yeah I‘ve done that in the past too Trevor. Sadly I don‘t have much requirement for hairspray any more! But my mouth is always full of drivel! 🤪
Another great job mate and they look great. I like the grips, I have the oxford ones. They are great but they do have the control box which looks fine but those do look cleaner. The bar end mirrors look great and they look like they will work as well. Take care and stay well.
Thanks mate. I agree, much happier with the new setup now.
In the garage the new mirrors has the pointy end inwards, but when out riding, the mirrors has the pointy end outwards. Did you swap them or just turn them 180?
Just span them around. Mrs Mancam was confused too!
Great video. I'm currently thinking about getting these bars for my CB1000R and was wondering why you decided to go back to the stock bars in later videos.
Thanks Chris. The bars were great, but i simply (because I’m so shallow) wanted something a bit more subtle. The GSG ones i got were very small but expensive for what they were. Plus when i actually repeatedly dropped the bike in Norway, the engine got scratched, which wouldn’t have happened if I’d kept the SW bars on. Other than the looks, the only thing that bothered me was that i occasionally caught my shin on the right bar when i put my foot down. Otherwise, all good.
@@AndyManCam Thanks for the quick answer, but I was talking about the handle bars and not the crash bars. Would be nice to know why you switched back.
Ah, gotcha! That was because i finally found some bar risers that i was allowed to fit here in Germany (everything must be TÜV certified) and that made the angle of the bars all wrong for me. Otherwise they were great 👍🏻
@@AndyManCam Ah, thanks, yeah I know about the pain with TÜV. Greetings from Bremen
Ha! A fellow sufferer! 😂 My pleasure mate and happy Umbau.
Great video again Andy.
Sorry you may have answered this question many times... is your helmet the Nishua Carbon enduro or the regular enduro? I’m looking at them on Louis.de.
Thanks Rory. It is the Carbon Enduro. Bit lighter and, IMHO, a bit more comfortable too. I had the regular Enduro for a little while and the padding seemed to be harder and a slightly different shape somehow.
Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it. Do you have a link for the Daytona grips?
Absolutely! Here you go: amzn.to/2TyZCL9
So interesting it makes me want to strip the bars off my GS for similar entertainment value 😀 When the super glue stuck solid for you I realised no way would I have remained calm. Excellent vid as per 👍
Now that’s motivation! I’ve learned not to be surprised by my own ineptitude! 😂
If you have wrapped the left side of the handlebar with electrical tape (before mounting the grip), the heat will not go directly into the metal.
I did think about that, but sadly the grip was already super tight, so I don't think it would have gone on at all!
Would have drilled the bars, but fingers crossed they work for you 👍 Did you sort out the heated grip problem?
I've never drilled bars before and I think in total I've performed 5 separate handlebar swaps! No problems so far. 👍🏻
Great video. Admire your patience. I would have kicked a few things up and down the garage. 😂
Thanks Stephen! There were certainly a few moments! :D
Nothing like bolting goodies to a new bike, did the very same last week. Gotta make it your own after all.
Absolutely! Especially when they make said bike far better than it was to start with!! 😊
Ahh, you also put things back together 3 times instead of once.
Just to make absolutely sure! 😜
Nooooo... the most interesting part was you removing the glued grip :D damn television...
Haha! Of course! There was too much swearing, bashing and sweating for public consumption! That and the batteries conveniently all went flat at the same time 😉
Yep that conversion looks good also that healtech thing under your seat you can just buy a normal split charge relay like caravans use probably cheaper and definitely smaller.
Thanks Terry. Those split charge jobbies look a fair bit fatter and blockier than the Thunderbox to be fair. Also I like the idea that this little box waits 5 seconds before powering on / off with switching the engine on / off. Also it provides fusing, overcurrent protection and multiple connections. I'm sure a split charge relay would work, but I prefer payoing a little extra for a complete product with minimal faff needed! Oh how the mighty have fallen. I used to be the king of money saving faff!
Haha😂, I was thinking those mirrors were on the wrong ends..... and hey presto they switched on the road ride seg👍🏼
Ta-Daaa! I read your mind! 😜
Great video 👍! Those mirrors look mint. Suit the looks of the Honda.
Thanks Wats. They’re definitely an improvement.
Always enjoy your tinkering. (That’s what she said)
Haha! Better than the opposite! Cheers!
Rizoma makes short bar ends that may look good on your bike...
Highsider have some good ones too. Louis is a 10 minute walk away and the highsider ones are way cheaper too!!
store glue and silicon tubes on the fridge and they last very long time
I store my Sugru in the fridge, but sadly no power in the garage for a handy glue and beverage chiller!
Nice job, black bars look much better i think...
Thanks Mick. I know right. No idea why manufacturers keep on with this light and cheap looking silver bar nonsense.
If you went for heated gloves instead of heated grips, there will be no going back, plus you can move your power cable from bike to bike
Yes, I'm in my fourth season of using Gerbing heated gloves. Far better than heated grips during winter. However, in late spring and early autumn I think it's also nice to have the option of heated grips just to take the chill off while using normal gloves.
I do like the idea of heated gloves, but I think that they always look like they compromise on the protection and also, like MrC says, I like the ability to have to have the choice take the chill off in the evenings and colder days with normal gloves. Plus I'm like a girl with shoes and wear different gloves depending on my mood and outfit! 😂
Look good AMC 👍🏻 Suits the look of the bike
Thanks mate! It does, doesn't it. Makes it look like it ought to have done to start with.
The Black ROCKS! :) (I want some for my bike now! (though I actually need *narrower* bars and the MT already comes with quite narrow ones...))
Agreed. Far better looks! A hacksaw can make any bar as narrow as you need! 😜
@@AndyManCam True, but it's a bit brutal and a one-way affair... ;)
That’s the safest kind of affair!!
Got to have heated grips 🤓. Unbelievable you always got to park it with more fuel 😳. Do like the mirrors 🥂😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦
I know right! The fuel things always seems to happen because the last stretch of ANY long ride for me, is almost exactly a tank full of fuel on the motorway. After that, I always just want to get off the bike ASAP so never manage to muster the will to fuel up before I park! Must try harder!
@@AndyManCam You should do what I did Andy, move next to a petrol station... ;) :D (side benefit, sunny days mean you get to hear loads of "interesting" cars and bikes coming and going...)
Haha! Perfect tip Matt!
Great video. How did you get the superglued grip off ??
Thanks! I stuck a thin spindly screwdriver in there abs wriggled it about.
@@AndyManCam well done. If I tried that I would have pierce the grips !!!!
You could also try an Allen key with the rounded end. Less chance of damage. But could bend the Allen key! 🙈
I'd bend it. Thanks for all your work and keeping us entertained with your tours and projects.
My pleasure! What else am i going to do with my time!!
lol only AMC, would run out of fuel in the Garage!
What can I say? I'm a pro!
👍
👊🏻🙌🏻🤟🏻
I was hoping for more wire-tie action. :-(
Sorry about that. Did you see the bit where I tied a cable inside the fuel tank, with only one hand though! Next level Cable Tie action! 😂
Interesting video, looking forward to more tour vids
Many thanks Dave. More to come!
It’s amazing what a couple of inches will make... erm... that’s what she says...
😂😂😂
A couple of inches is all you need.
Hi Andy! Great video! I'd like to hear more about the heated grips, how do you like them now after 6 months?
They’re ok, but not my favorites. The first set had to be replaced under warranty and the second set are also a bit uneven with the heating between left and right. The quality doesn’t fill me with confidence and i don’t think they’ll last very long. Also the button is very difficult to find with thick gloves on. All this being said, they look good and i haven’t had cold hands yet. But I’ve got the Oxford grips on Standby already.
@@AndyManCam Thank you! Let's hope the set i picked up will last. Regarding the uneven warmth, could it be due to the left handle being mounted directly to the handlebar versus the right side has the plastic throttle? I think I'll try with black electrical tejp on the left side to prevent the cold handlebars slowing down the warm-up and possibly making them more even.
@@Toieee i hope so! I’m sure they’ll be fine. I would have thought 100% that it was down to the left being mounted directly to the bar. Except when i fitted the replacement set, the left was suddenly hotter than the right!! 😂
I have pretty identical impression from my (stock) grip heating, I have been attributing that to maybe me holding the right grip in a different way I hold the left one... I mean obviously I work with that side hand more
That's good to know. Amazing that Honda haven't managed to figure that out. My old Oxford heated grips were both exactly the same. The left grip had a thick plastic tube inside the heater elements, so that it acted the same as the throttle grip on the other side. Simple, yet effective.
@@AndyManCam The "aftermarket" Yamaha ones (universal) I now have fitted on mine, I am in love with, and heat up really fast and completely evenly. Get almost too hot on the top setting too, which is what you want, I guess... :) Andy, what are they like once fully heated up and even? (do they have only on and off?). The Yama are only slightly thicker than standard grips, the Daytona look like they might even be about the same thickness? (I don't like oversized grips!)
They’ve got 4 or five levels. But the left is always cooler. They get pretty hot though and in 5 degrees they were still warm enough... until the gloves got soaked through. But without them it would have been torture! The grips are definitely slimmer than the Oxford ones though
I just love a bit of faff!! Instructional too!!
You’re in the right place here my friend! 😁
👍🏍🇦🇺 ‘That’s what she said’ 😅
It seems like she has a lot to say nowadays! 😂
Interesting, I thought I felt my Oxford's grips heated the right one more only because I held it tighter than the left one...
In Thüringer Wald recently, i was gripping both so tightly that the bars are probably a few mm less in diameter now. But the left was still a fair bit cooler. Seems the ally bar is sucking all the warmth away. 😭
@@AndyManCam oh shoot, that makes sense... throttle tube isolates heat.
I never felt it with my Oxford grips though. They had an extra plastic tube inside the left grip.
Great vid. I love your garage vids.
Thanks Simon 👍
Where to buy the wide handlebars?
I bought them from www.louis.de
so, one side is off the gribs are insolated the other is on the bare steen/ handlebar, can that be the reason ? i do have the same issue on low heat
Bingo. It is a common problem with heated grips that the handlebar acts like a heat sink on the left one.
I think so. I had hoped that these grips would be like the Oxford ones, which have insulation built in on the left grip. Shame that.
I used to have Steel bars on the FZ1, so obviously the effect on these tapered Aluminium ones is further exaggerated. 🤦🏻♂️
Bikes looking good Andy 👍👍
Cheers Adam! It really is a looker. Always gets the glance over the shoulder as I walk away (with tears in my eyes...)
Mirrors & bar ends don't look good. But if they work, why not.
I agree. Looks odd. I’ve already got some others in mind.
Thanks Søren, I'll check them out. Maybe for christmas!
Very tasty! But I‘ll have to have been a VERY good boy for those CNC beauties!! €€€
Sneaky little vidy :D I do believe I arrived first!
Congratulations! Once again, you win todays Smugness reward.
@@AndyManCam Ahh good it'll go nicely with the "Fuck you too" one I got from Shaun :)
Racking up those accolades.
Weirdly I can watch you doing this kind of stuff...but don't have the patience to do it myself. Thanks AMC, great vid as always.
Haha! That is a strange situation! I guess that the video just keeps on going, even when you can't be arse to lift a finger! Very happy to hear that you can bear my fiddlings though! (That's what i said to her).
I’m am soooo in agreement with you James. I spend my working life fixing other people’s gubbins, so it’s nice to watch Andy do it then look down at my own hands and find.... they are still clean! 😜. Ride safe
Haha! Vicarious wrenching! Saves on the Swarfega.
Great video! Just a little warning, don't wire the heated grips into a normal wire on the bike, they pull like 4 amps which will blow a fuse. Instead install a relay ^_^!
Thanks! Don’t worry, i wired them into the Healtech Thunderbox. Ignition Switched and overload protected. 👍🏻
@@AndyManCam I know, it was more for your viewers that don't have that :p
@@AndyManCam By the way, are the mirrors good? I just bought the same, a bit worried about vibration :D
@@AndyManCam And I appreciate you answering, I can see you have alot of subs :D
@@primal5435 Yes, they’re pretty good. No worse than the stock ones at least!
I like the look of those grips, I normally use Oxford. Would you say the Oxford provide a more even heat? Do the Daytona even up eventually?
The Oxfords definitely provide more even heat and they’re a higher quality construction too. My oxfords were going strong after 3 changes. I don’t think these ones will last so long.
Thanks for info, I'll give those a miss. Have a good weekend.
I hope to be proven wrong, but the build quality of the Oxfords is noticeably superior.
Koso also look good but not easy to get hold of in the UK. I like Oxford but now have a new Z900 , not a lot room to mount he control unit.
I think you can get Koso from Louis.de and they deliver to UK.
Hi Andy,
Awesome upgrade👍. Your riding experience is only going to be far more enjoyable.
Hey Peter, thanks! I really think so. Early signs on the first real test ride in Thüringer Wald were very good. Funny how you don't notice these things on the short first test ride. But So glad I took the time to make the bike that little bit more perfect for me.
