Hello! :D Great video, but as a wavy haired girl I have a few tips I'd love to share which may help your waves be more pronounced. :) First things first, I would suggest making sure you dry roots first, then mids, and then the ends very last. But this is the whole process I do: So, first I would suggest trying products with less weight to them (the major companies like Pantene, Tresemme, etc. are full of chemicals that can also damage the hair), so I would suggest stuff that just doesn't have phthalates, parabens, and other harsh chemicals (Aussie products aren't too bad, I use their gel, but I also use Love and Beauty/Planet products as well as Hairatage and Raw Sugar (deep conditioning mask). Once a week, try and use the deep conditioning mask after your regular conditioning and leave it in the lengths of your hair using a shower cap for about 20 minutes (no more than that, but you can reduce it to 10-15 if you become uncomfortable with it). Make sure to wash this out thoroughly (and use a good brush to brush your conditioners through your hair to coat it will). 2. When it comes to products, using it in a specific order has been the best help, I do a leave-in conditioner, followed by heat-protectant (absolutely necessary if you plan to use a diffuser), followed by a split-end repair serum (up to you if you want to use this), and I brush through at this point with water on the brush. Then I add in my mousse and scrunch gently, then I add my curl cream (all using prayer hands to cover it), then I apply about a quarter size drop of gel and add water, using prayer hands I work it all over, I brush my roots upward and out to get lift, and then scrunch again, followed by another round of mousse scrunching to define. I use a Microfiber towel (you can use a T-shirt) to scrunch out excess water and then wrap my hair for a little while (until I think it's dry enough - about 60 - 70 %), then I scrunch gently with the towel and start by blow-drying (diffuser attachment on) my hair using the hover method (med-high heat on high moving in circular motions around the scalp without touching (about 6-8 inches away from the head). Then, when my roots are dry in all directions (you have to dry head forward, then side to side, then head leaning back to get good lift), I will slowly lift my hair with one hand (flat hand) and on med-low heat and low setting I blow-dry upward and side to side but not down into my hand and dry the mids (this helps define that nice wavy look all around on your mids and helps dry them better for the last part). By the time I'm done doing that in all directions (at the end using the hover method to do so) I will finally move to the ends which may be dry and casted at this point (if I'm done with the roots and the definition isn't there, I wet it again and scrunch then scrunch with the towel, making sure not to rewet the roots) and I mainly use this point to break up the cast on the bottom of the hair by diffusing with the diffuser off, placing the locks into the diffuser, moving gently all the way up (not touching the scalp) and diffusing for 5 - 10 seconds and then I turn it off. Doing this, once again, on all sides, I may do some circular motions with the diffuser to get the hair to break apart better and still hold it's shape. When I'm finally done, I will flip my head forward and use my fingertips to massage the scalp to help the roots lift and break apart so it appears fuller, then I add my hair oil using the palms of my hands to get it on all the ends and then scrunch it in, then I scrunch out the rest with my towel (not my hands) and use a hair pick comb to brush toward the roots (you can also lift this individually and brush toward the scalp to create lift). I fluff my hair up and I am ready for styling. If you take time to break up the back and front of the hair and then recast using extra water and mousse before diffusing this can help make sure your waves sit right on the scalp once it's dry. :) You can also use hairspray periodically (I use it in the very beginning before I diffuse and let it dry why holding my hair up with my flat hands, then again after it's been diffused or once I have the final look I'm going for. It's all up to what works best for you. I like to leave the cast in a bit throughout the day sometimes before I want to give it time to hold rather than immediately releasing it from the cast and it falling over time. :) I hope this helps.

Oh! And also, before I forget, make sure you are applying your products and diffusing (to begin) upside-down if you want the most lift. :)

@@Harumuchi :) I'm so glad I could help! It took me 8 months to figure out what worked best for best results. Also, be aware that when you get your hair cuts they may fall flat for a little while but they will start waving and curling again soon after. :) Good luck with everything! I'm looking forward to seeing how these steps work for you. ^.^
