    This shows that it's important to tell your kids that you have a illness and symptoms at early age and what to do in case of a situation like this. I suffer from epilepsy so I know how important that is.

    I'm watching this because I woke up the other morning needing some help cause I was bleeding to death and couldn't get off the floor. The 911 lady stayed on the phone until the Emergency guys got here. I live in the country and they needed help finding me so she was important in my situation until the then. It's kind of nice hearing the reassurance that help is just minutes away.

    That is really great, especially in light of that little boy's own physical challenges. Making that call must not have been easy, but it sounds like he handled it better than some adults. So glad things worked out well and that mom is okay.

    Wonder how often this happens. I mean do 911 dispatchers really save lives, I would think they have many wasteful all to 911.. I guess when they help people to help others they really are an unsung hero maybe

    • @ericaschaidt8588
      @ericaschaidt8588 4 роки тому +1

      Kaidosbuddyagain Doberman not much maybe about it. They save lives, despite not physically being there. This is evident in the cases you hear of great dispatchers and unfortunately it’s even more evident in cases of bad dispatchers. Search UA-cam and you can see examples of terrific dispatchers helping people in need, and can find out what happens when they’re awful at their jobs.
      When I was a kid William Shatner hosted a show called rescue 911. It showed re-enactments of various 911 calls. It really showed 911s role in getting people help

    • @kaidosbuddyagaindoberman9119
      @kaidosbuddyagaindoberman9119 4 роки тому +1

      Erica Schaidt tha is Erica. I suppose they do far more good even if they aren’t there physically. After all they give instructions on how to do things right, bleeding, choking, cpr. These come to mind. I suppose they could even be the difference between life and death, no? I know If I was very bad off, having a voice on the other side of that phone would be something I’d want since they getting help for me. When looking that way yea, I guess they really are kinda unsung hero’s as I questioned before. I can’t imagine who would want to do that job, I know they don’t pay very well least around where I live but oh well. Bad dispatchers I’m sure are far and few between. Every job has their share. Every single career. I maybe had a little softening of heart as I met a 912 dispatcher. He’s been doing that for 21 years. Can you imagine? 21 years of a stressful job, of sitting there calm then all of a sudden you go to like 100 MPH because some crazy call comes in, and this gets repeated after and after. Wow I was like nooo way. 21 years, forget that lol.
