- A 999 call reveals a four-year-old saving her mum's life by dialling for help and opening with the line: 'I'm just having a bit of my lunch'.
Little Mya made the emergency call after she witnessed her mother, Rachel, 25, collapse on the floor.
She had only been taught about 999 at school the week before and was home alone with her mum.
Her mother suffers from a Functional Neurological Disorder, a condition which can cause stroke-like symptoms and seizures.

“What’s happened?”
“I’m eating a bit of my lunch…”
Props to the dispatcher for not assuming it was a prank.
@@Roddy556 usually when they receive prank calls from children they ask where their parents are. Doesn’t mean I have any less respect for him.
props to the dispatcher asking all those questions
England should be the place where American 911 Dispatchers are trained. English 999 Emergency operators are the epitome of EVERYTHING an emergency operator should be !
She really did bury the lede on that one. Very lucky the guy asked the right questions and didn't just dismiss it and tell her off for playing with the phone.
Man, I wish the call handlers in America were this nice lol.
Canada too lol ours ain’t much better
Call handlers here in the UK are amazing with kids, in fact, they’re generally incredible all round.
That brought a tear to my eye, the call handler was brilliant and the little girl so clever ❤
The young girl was that brave enough to call for a emergency. So proud of the child. 👏
Brilliant young lady, mom must be super proud
Can you say the word properly its mum not mom u ok u american 😂😂😂
And she's 4 she's hardly a young lady 🙄
What a brave little lady she sounds like a cutie
what a good operator , brilliant communication mate
Guarantee you that is a combination of operator being a parent and being trained on how to respond to child calls for help…..the little girl was amazing and so helpful.
theyre out of order they handlers ppl can die because of them stalling us with questions
Great parents for teaching her how to get help if needed.
They both worked extremely well together!!
What an angel 😢❤
I can't take much more of these videos...my eyeballs are gonna drown and my heart is gonna explode. 😭
There is NO WAY that I could have done as good a job when I was 4 years old.........WOW what an impressive kid.
Fantastic call handler, he needs some recognition. Good girl Mya. Bless you.
Great job by dispatcher
toddlers and small children are so smart
I realized I am not trained for this. I would have made a botch of this. Great operator.
What a sweet angel.
Amazing brought tears to my eyes that . ❤
What an amazing young girl
so calm 4 year old girl
This kids a legend, well done to her parents for raising such a clever child.
Mya is her mommys brave girl!!
From here in the States we say "magnificent" and best of luck!
Nothing better! ❤
She sounded so sweet.❤
Amazing little thing!! ❤
Brave girl
Well done mia
Poor things. Sounds like they were enjoying lunch and mom fainted.
911 dispatchers in America are never this nice or intuitive.
Great
Maybe we should make 5yos Prime Minister
Underrated comment.
👼
Thats insane she called 999.
Released by police.........hahahaa did they arrest her
Okay sugar, okay maya m'dear just, you keep on keeping on have treat on your uncle Chris
What's 999?
The UK’s 911 equivalent, to call police fire or ambulance service.
@@yodaami oh! I wonder what would happen if I press 911 instead 🤔
@@Vincent_de_Paul actually if you are in the uk, it’s directed to the 999 service, good to know for our visitors.
How come 2 different UA-cam clips have one male on the phone and the other has a female ?
presumably transcription released and two people dramatised
How many animals do you reckon were WRONGLY TORTURED AND WRONGLY MURDERED in the research of the drugs they administered to Maya's Mum?!?!?!!!!!!!!! Julie Gill, Glasgow, Scotland.
Asked so much question get the address and go 🤪😜😋😛😝
I think they can locate your area with just the phone call and I do not know if every 4 year old knows their own address
@@InfernoCA most probably don't
Amazing she used the phone so brave
