Thanks to everyone involved for giving us these lovely memorable characters. We invited them into our homes from the start and, like Alison & Mike, they’ve become part of our families as well. I think I can speak for so many when I say we will miss them so much. And while bittersweet, watching this final series will be done with such joy, knowing that we were able to be privy to the lives (and afterlives) of them at all! October 6th will be a great day. (It’s also my birthday so this is the best present I could have asked for! Thanks!!)

I still remember buying the DVD for series one because i didnt understand that iPlayer was free at the ripe old age of 12 and thinking it was the most incredible show and that I'd never see another season. And here we are 3 years later! So cool, can't wait for more backstories!

it seems so long since the last season I wasn't sure if there was going to return. Between Ghosts and Brassic I have nothing to fall back on. If Ghosts and Brassic end that will be all: life is a piece of shit. Just to have a group of genuine friends that enjoy working to make something so good must be such a magical feeling.
While of course it's sad it's ending I definitely think it's the right decision. Ghosts does not need to be strung out or jump the shark, so 5 series seem the right amount.
