Still on the original drums in the rear and 2nd set if disc's up front. Perfect truck.
+2 on the 2.5 gen Tacoma’s (2012-2015). Best generation of Tacoma. Do not make the mistake of buying the turd gen. The gearing is off, Toyota focused way too much on fuel economy and it just hunts for gears on hills. Cabin is smaller on the 3rd gen as well

A Ford half ton was the worst truck for reliability I've ever owned and a gmc was a close second worst. Neither company will ever get another dime of mine. Toyota rules period when it comes to reliability..
@@tracecronk3727 I known many to have good luck with Ford's and GMs but my experience is not that. My Ford was a long time ago and I've been faithful to myself in never having another. It was totally shot in 5 years. It was a 77 Ranger with a 400ci v8.. My Gm experience is lengthy and my last Gm of which I've had , 70, 82, 85, 90, 99 2009 GM was an incredible lemon with something broken always. I had 31 issues in 6 years. My Toyota so far has been flawless and so much tougher than comparably related GMs. I wish you luck with your Ford's ....if they serve you well that's what they are supposed to do. If I'm satisfied with any product I'll stick with them.
I want a new Tundra, but nothing is wrong with my 2010 CrewMax, 150K miles and still going strong!! If you get one of these you’re going to have it for a looooooooooooooong time 😎
Gotta say, love how it looks. Got a few years till I upgrade but one of these used is definitely gonna be a big contender. Personally idk if it would look good with Lunar Rock, but I really liked the red color with the magnetic fender flares that they had at the reveal. Will be honest though, one big "zonk"(half zonk?) for me is the underseat storage. Love having it, and love the amount of storage it gives you, but one thing Ford did better with it imo was having it able to fold flat when you're not using it, like when you have something bulky you need in the back, but don't wanna put in the bed(idk, tv or something?)
Awesome!!! Glad they have cameras in the bottom of the Sideview mirrors for 360 views, the millimeter radar sensors in the fron grill is sleek and the full speed dynamic radar is killer for commutes.
For a trim just above base it looks like a winner! I am sure we will see a lot of SR5 Tundras on the road, but I hope to drive a 1794 Edition or Limited Tundra. Thanks Joe and Lori!!
Nice looking truck ..miss the v8s though...sick paint job, sick design alll around.. Don't like that black insert on the front bumper it distorts the grill design
They should’ve kept the V8 as an option I think... it may not be the best power or economy but a natural V8 is a different driving experience that feels great...
Well, I think my decision has been made! Love it in the lunar rock color. This is all the truck that 95% of truck owners need. My only two complaints are 1) no front tow hooks, c'mon Toyota and 2) I wish the tires were a little more aggressive, but I understand, it is the sport model. Now just need to unload my 3 month old 2021 Taco.
Love the addition of heated cloth seats to the SR5. That’s something the last one was missing. A bit perplexed by the lack of any connectivity in the back seat though. Even my 2021 Tundra SR5 at least has a 12 volt back there
Yeah they seemed to have added a bunch of things to the SR5 that wasn't avail before- Pano moon roof, heated seats, power folding mirrors etc. It is weird they removed the single 12volt outlet in the back but Im wondering since this is still a "pre-Production" unit that we may see one back there when they go on sale...
the fact that I've already been in a prototype 1974 edition 2022 edition tundra is crazy because most people won't get to be in one because they won't buy one or they'll have to wait . its crazy
Truck looks great! I would probably go with the limited to get a few more features, but I don’t mind the analog tachometer. I think it looks pretty good!
Without even watching I can answer the question. Absolutely. The Tundra has always been a better truck than Ford, Chevy or Ram. There is no better 1/2 ton pickup and unlikely ever will be.

What Im most curious about this truck is if the V6 twin turbo will hold up like the V8 over time. The mpg numbers are so similar between the two, the gamble on reliability doesn't seem worth it to me at this point.
less reliable overtime i’m sure. turbos alway bring a lot more heat and components. The maintenance will be key i’m sure. also will be more reliable after 3-4 years i’m sure.
Ford has been using ecoboosts for over a decade now and so far the engineering consensus is that the ecoboost is just as reliable long term as the coyote v8

Hope you enjoyed your visit to our city!
We did!
My biggest concern about this car, are Turbos, especially when they be idling for a long period of time.
Ford has been offering a turbo v6 engine in the F150 since 2011
Best reviewer and camera person ever!!!
Thank You for the review Joe and Lori
I love that the dahs is mostly analog. Keeps thing looking simple
Thinking how many rides have been sold cuz of Joe. Keep it going Joe!
Dope. Raiti is the best
The f-150 just looks nicer inside and out in my opinion! More premium looking
Toyotas are like Chevys when it comes to interior styling, they lack refinement and seem kind of lazy.
A Ford half ton was the worst truck for reliability I've ever owned and a gmc was a close second worst. Neither company will ever get another dime of mine. Toyota rules period when it comes to reliability..
@@sheldo8083 you just had a bad one then. I’ve owned nothing but Ford trucks and they’ve all been fantastic
Totally agree with you about the underseat storage. It would have been much better with a completely flat floor without the storage.
Thanks for your continuous effort... Greetings from Kuwait ❤
Great job Raiti’s Ride👍
And shouts out to the camera 🎥 operator. “Kudos”
As always your doing great with these reviews man! Great tundra!
Yep, I’m good for one
Welcome to SA ! This veteran salute you!
Thank you for your service!
I have seen that there is a front tow hook on the higher trims, don't know why they didn't add to the SR5 trim though
Really? No one else has seen them. The active air dam is apparently blocking tow hooks on all models. The trd pro doesn't even have front tow points

My only real zonk is the no conectivity in the back. Other then that this is the exact model tundra I want.great review joe, I'm sold👍.
Milo’s in the house!!!!✊🏿💯🏁🏁 wifey approves. I’m getting one man. Always Watching. ✊🏿💯💯. Always Supporting..🏁🏁
I am from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 , I like watching your videos for cars 😍😍😍 , You are awesome 🤩
It is weird they removed the single 12volt outlet in the back but Im wondering since this is still a "pre-Production" unit that we may see one back there when they go on sale...
the fact that I've already been in a prototype 1974 edition 2022 edition tundra is crazy because most people won't get to be in one because they won't buy one or they'll have to wait . its crazy
Is that engine noise normal? It didn’t sound too good on the high revs.
Just the rev limiter kicking in.
It's A1 & Ready to Roll !!
Yes. No auto start stop. Oh and reliable and not overpriced. More American by parts content too.
Truck looks great! I would probably go with the limited to get a few more features, but I don’t mind the analog tachometer. I think it looks pretty good!
Love this truck!!! Joe you do a great job on all your videos, you always give a great thorough tour of every vehicle!! Love your videos! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks David for taking the time to say that!
Thanks, Joe, for the time been we need to keep waiting, until the 12th to make an informed decision; thanks to Lorie as well!! Cheers 🍻
Without even watching I can answer the question. Absolutely. The Tundra has always been a better truck than Ford, Chevy or Ram. There is no better 1/2 ton pickup and unlikely ever will be.
LOL There is a reason its not in the big 3 buddy.
@@derekmarion7237 ya because they don’t sell at discounted rates and Toyota doesn’t mass produce them. It’s why their quality control is at a higher standard and that’s a fact.
@@longboardguy Tundra quality ... buddy what are you smoking , take a break !
@@derekmarion7237 nah, seen to many fords come threw the shop. Early day ecoboosts. That’s all I need to know
funny thing is I do love the last gen tundra.my very first truck when i got out of basic and AIT from fort knox was a blue 2006 ford -f150 flareside.it was rwd access cab and a 4.6L v8.
I also worked for a toyota dealership for nearly 3 years.I do identify with the fictional character joe gave about "cheating on a f-150"
btw my second and last truck was a 2001 GMC Sonoma also blue.
but joe i see what you're "rocking" with there lmfao.
keep up the good work.
in case you're curious my job in the army was a tank driver for 3 years
I absolutely love these new pastel greys these new cars have 👌
This is the only trim I’d buy. Mainly cause the body color around the grill and the wheel wells.
