    About 20 US Army AH-64 Apache helicopters, part of the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, flew from Katterbach Army Airfield in Ansbach, Germany, where they are forward-deployed, on 24 February. While in Latvia, they will participate in Saber Strike 2022, a US-led exercise held in the Baltic states.
    The Apaches join approximately 300 soldiers from the US Army 173rd Airborne Brigade who had arrived at Rīga International Airport earlier that day. Major Scott Kuhn, a spokesman for US Army Europe and Africa, said “The deployment of these forces is evidence of our strong and unremitting commitment to our NATO Allies and partners.”
    Footage includes shots of Apache helicopters arriving at Lielvārde Air Base in Latvia. 12 additional Apaches will be sent from Greece to Poland.

      The Baltic peoples have fresh memories of what it’s like to be under Russian occupation. It would be good for US troops to get to know them so they know what the stakes are.

    Surprised not all of the helicopters are equipped with radar domes above the blades.

    I know how great Apache's are bat can mavericks and cannon take out a T-90 with reactive armor? That's something I've wondered about.

      Did you mean Hellfire and cannon, T?

      @knightlife98 2 роки тому +2

      But to answer your question, Apaches excel at taking out any tank out there. They'd do it with Hellfires primarily.

      @@knightlife98 In that case Warthogs and Vipers wouldn't mind some of that action. Saw a video of Ivan's 40 mile long convoy, reminded me of Sadam's Republican Guard during Desert Storm! Can you say "Turkey Shoot"! :)
