THATS MY KID OMG YEEEESSSSS GOO MY SON, YOURE DAD IS SUPPORTING YOU
HI DAD
You both make me proud to be a human, proud to be an American, and proud to be an aviation lover. See you in the skies!
Your kid has accomplished something great. Jesus loves you.
Thank you. I owe my whole team a huge thank you couldn't have done it alone.
I call bs
That moment when the engine noise subsides and the *thwack thwack thwack* becomes clear... ugh... goosebumps.

Incredible how DCS gets the sounds so accurate
Crusin' down the street in my 64
LOL
The guy That does the stuff bruh
With 10mm cannon and 4 hellfire missles
Nice
Then i let the alpine play
That is the unmistakable Sound Of All American badassery. Just one of many reasons why I'm proud to be part of Army Aviation
You obviously arn't Army aviation. The U.S Apaches don't have the radar system on top of the rotors, UK Apaches do.
@@Johnnybojangles664 you're hilarious. Either I didn't just graduate as a 15G aircraft structural repairer or I made an honest mistake and didn't notice the radar on top. Im no poser I did my 18 weeks of aviation training at Ft. Eustis I earned my army aviation wings
To be a U.S. soldier must be one hell of a proud thing
@@Johnnybojangles664 Their American made aircraft the UK doesn't produce their own apaches 💀💀💀
best sound ever love the AH - 64

This is what would lull me to sleep for nine years. Miss it a lot.
That’s the most beautiful thing ever
This and the A-10 are the greatest weapons the military has. I want one of each, please!
Please do not ever again associate the A-10 with this marvel of technology.
yh
Nuclear weapons are the pinnacle of military might
@@engasal yes but these are cooler let us have our fun. Also I would argue the pinnacle would be antimatter bombs but those are only theoretical atm
@@Inspadave both are good at ground attack
The sound of them staring this up is just beautiful and bad ass thank you to the pilots WE LOVE YOU!!!!🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🥰🥰🥰😍
AH-64 Longbow...Rain hell from heaven. Another video from Ft Rucker
Sounds like an AMD graphics card
Lol
Thanks
i loled
+AH-64 Attack Helicopter
DAMN-IT!
I want one!
AH-64 Attack Helicopter Hahaha
I loved the apache helicopter in my child hood I loved going to air shows and seeing it perform best helicopter ever built in my opinion
That flyby at the end... So sweet.
The little kid in the background when it’s starting up lol “Dad, move” lol
He sounds just as gorgeous as he looks... 🖤
GREAT video!
The sound of Fear given life! Nothing like it!
God Bless you All. Stay Safe!!!
I felt the 'oh yeah' when the Apache returned for a flyby
Actually I'm using my headphone and this sounds amazing....
When you see them turn on the red anti-collision strobe lights, that means "Back up!" They're about to start the engines.
Greetings v When U C them go off on flight..that means get lost or B found.
The pilot is an Azerbaijani hero, Emil Sayilov, let’s appreciate and get him some recognition🙏🏼
I love the AH-64 Apache
When talibs see the Apache it's already too late...
they dont see it = whisper mode at night ,infra-red
Most of the time they don't even see it, unless they can see it two miles away.
xenomorphelv426 because they are unequipped. the slighest sophistication of weaponry could easily destroy this primitive apache. It's a very vulnerable platform. Interestingly most modern warfare, at least the part in public, is predicated on the enemy being without weapons.
A dirt cheap rocket missile with sort of arduino amateur level targeting systems could easily destroy an apache from its normal distance of engagement. in daytime at least. for night time you would need a thermal camera which is maybe 1000$. the apache is a sitting duck. it has no defensive capability of any significance. a decently engineered 1000$ missile could have a daytime kill rate of 99+% and with thermal it would be the same at night.
and if you designed a weapon specifically to target the apache you could develop a radio sensor for that particular vehicle signature that would cost a couple of dollars and not be the slightest bit confused by chaff or flares.
Dan Frederiksen the apache can hit target at 8km range. you sure must trust your home-made seeker otherwise Kaboom !!.
xenomorphelv426 I could home make it but who says it would be home made, homie. And how would an apache see where it came from...
it has no systems for that. Indeed it would likely never detect the incoming weapon unless it was looking straight at it. And even then that could be countered by making it jet powered instead of rocket. Fly on level ground at moderate speed with ducted exhaust with no significant IR profile and climb up towards it at the end. Or perhaps better, rise at a 45 degree angle and attack from above out of field of view. If the weapon rises without significant IR signature then apache will never see it coming. Try to rely less on dumb murica thinking such as 'kaboom' and instead realize how sick and weak the USA military is.
Wow great sound cancelling technology
i love that transition @ 3:15!
Beautiful!
Best sound for ever Apache POWER AH64
this thing literally sounds like a jet when it flies by
It is a jet lol
I wish you a pleasant and safe flight.
But the best heli sound ever is "the sound of freedom" - UH-1 Huey blades
Sorry but no!. Apache all the way!!..
@@hrdknox55 no, just... the sound is cool but it's not the sound of freedom, it's the sound of death
@@AVGyerra22 I heard them flying over on landing approach during the last year exercise in Poland, 5 or something in a formation; I don't know...flying 200ft high? For no particular reason, I felt an urge to become indistinguishable from the terrain.
A tanks worst nightmare
That’s the sound of freedom baby.
Best sound in the world
Greetings: Ahhhh. The memories.
This is my animal spirit
I was today years old when I learned helicopters could taxi
Yep, it was filmed at Allen Stage Field during family day.
at one point i got sick of seeing and hearing these when i was based at andover but still find myself coming back to look.
If the Apache can fly Mark two if wood be one bad ass chopper . It is a bad ass chopper
Fun days going up and flying over lake from hancey field and practicing maneuvers. I miss flying the 64, but I don't miss all the army politics. I wish the Obama administration didn't cut funding the way they have for DoD or I would have stayed in.
Hello, if someone said they were a few hours shy of obtaining a rotor wings pilots license, in the military, does that mean they would never actually be listed with a record as a pilot?
Thanks.
@@sailaviator6294 lol
@@sailaviator6294 its been 3 years since this guy commented.. you might never get an answer..
Gotta love those 67s
Glorious.
88A is one sexy beast
Hello brother
love this sound
You are so right. I flew waist gunner on a Huey.
Looks like the pilot in command is the front seat (at least for taxi and takeoff/translation).
The baddest sound you'll ever hear!!
the best machine
See you on the battle field my friend
"You've been -"
7:08 - 7:16
"THUNDERSTRUCK!"
..just ALL-American Bad Ass right here..
Dad look 🔥
around 6:27 after the helicopter vanished behind the big building in the foreground, it doesnt apear at all while passing the lower building between the tower and the bigger building. But at 6:31 it leaves the cover of the tower at an height that makes me think the movie got edited somehow. Unless the apache droped down extremly low over the ground after it vanished behind the left builing so it got fully covered behind the middle part and then ascend up while behind the tower before leaving its cover. That or between the tower and the left building is a wall wich upper part is painted like sky :P
Rotor and radar do show up (very briefly though) the very moment the camera zooms in on the tower @ 6:29.
RIP to all headphone users.
RIP me? Im using headphones
I'm using a speaker
THE DEMON IS AWAKE!
he says dad look

2:00 sounds like a kid says "dad N00B"
2:00
Chuckle, every video of helos starting up, theres always some kid in the background yelling😁
AMAZING NOISE
Oh, fuck that. I live to hear this kind of stuff.
why do i hear this sound always everywhere some time of the day
Hahaha! It's not so bad, fantastic sounds at least
The good old Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare helicopters from "One shot one kill" mission :D
Ummmmmmmmm no?
Those helicopters weren't even American...
Sgt C4 It looked similar okay? And the one I'm talking about is from Ukraine
You're thinking of the russian made mi-24
Wonder if any time any where it could out fly air wolf .
Nice vid. Thanks.
Gives me a thought if wasps had an army.
It was at this moment this kid wanted to become heli pilot xD
Miss those turbines on Black Hawks in Central America missions Spinning Up!!!!!!
very nice
My laptop when I try to open Minecraft:
Hey, I want to fly that.
Like this thing as most what can fly - apart from my mum in law ;P
POV:you put a recent cod game in your ps4
Greetings: "Hmmmmm wabbit twacks. I'm hunting wabbits hahaha".
I would like to know which field this was filmed at,,,it looks a lot like Ft. Rucker ,Alabama!
Who can though of a so deadly platform capable day or night when the projectile senses the ground it explodes also, put aside the missile.
You are so lucky!
Attack helicopters stand up
Awesome, how does the transition process work for the Army student pilots?? Do they go from the TH67 straight to the AH64??
Super
i wonder.... how do they taxi onto the takeoff point?
That big spinny thing on top of the aircraft. lol
I just saw one in the air!!!
Air cab.
Its radar dome
اقو جيش في عالم 😮😮😊
why are all the top comments are from 5-7 years ago?
Ready for Modern Warfare...
What is that whooshing noise a helicopter makes in 2:17?
That is another starting up in the background
Brandon Edgar You can even hear that when there is only one starting up fully before the other one
you're hearing jet powered engines going on full throttle.
Not sure if the AH-64 contains a turbocharger as well.
sounds like the ignition of the second turbine
At the start of the vid only the apu (auxiliary power unit) is running to power the systems. One engine starts at about 1:50, then about 30 seconds later comes up to full idle speed, then the other engine starts at about 2:30. At 3:18 both engines are brought to fly (full speed), you can tell because that's when you can hear the sound of the rotors over the sound of the engines.
*Helikopter - Helikopter*
Imagine this flying at you
Heard it over my house
A little noisy to be around I guess. Not sure I'd bring young kids that close
If this takes this much of time to take off. How do they retaliate in case of surprise attacks ?
If the airfield where your Apaches are is being "surprise attacked" then a whole lot of other things have gone wrong before that and that's the least of your concerns.
An amazing piece of technology... But is it as cool as a Hind...?
Nice aircraft until you have to work on it. What stage field was that?
Did you really dislike flying or being in an apache helicopter??? if so Why?
+colin dilley I use to work on them. They break alot.
@@chinookmech In your experience which military helicopter is the most reliable?
