I’m attempting to go raw for this coming week. When I’ve tried in the past, the mornings are the hardest because my body craves coffee right when I wake up 😩
Hi you don't have to be hard on yourself, I'm raw vegan but still drink coffee in the morning, test of the day I drink, chickory blend and herbal tea. ❤
For all those advocating raw food, depending on your specific ayurvedic prakriti, raw doesn't suit everyone. Cooking anything with spices, especially vegetables, increases the nutrient bioavailability. I would say this cooked food is healthy with the right oil-providing fats (which are actually good for you).
I will agree about this one because I found that Im vata dominant and it’s better if we eat foods warm and thoroughly cooked and if you’ve heard about the eat according to your blood 🩸 type then you’ll see also why certain foods are not as easily digestible as others, I’m vegan however my diet is steadily changing so it’s best to stay open overall her cooking style is super clean and looks light and refreshing
@@nicksanger4084 just with anything else I make decisions based off my body’s needs and desires. If I feel connected to something and it makes sense to me then I will adjust accordingly and that’s not just with what I eat. If you actually read what doshas are you may find a few similarities that relate to your experience. No one told me to Go Vegan I made that decision on my own. No one had to tell you anything. All you have to do is listen to yourself and if it works out great. If it doesn’t keep going. 😊

Great tip!
Is pea protein considered raw? (Trying to learn!)
I would say yes but I’m not legalistic on what is or isn’t raw

Are overnight oats considered raw?
I don’t eat oats but I guess they could be if you’re not heating them up
