Thanks for doing our tag!!! LOL! I knew someone (or some) would do it after Christmas and that's fine with me! I think it's great and you're right, many people continue to listen to the music into January. Very cool video!

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark! I remember that most of the stories themselves didn't do much for me, but those illustrations freaked out an entire generation of kids. 😂 That being said, the one with the spider laying eggs in the gal's face WAS pretty creepy. And I remember the ones featuring casual cannibalism as troubling yet kind of funny. For example, some kid finds a human toe in the garden, brings it to Mom, and she proceeds to toss it in the evening soup because why not. And then there's the butcher who, after an argument turned deadly, gets rid of his wife's body by grinding it into sausage, but the product proves so popular that instead of getting off this crazy train, he murders a chain of profitable victims. When one of them eventually escapes imminent grinding, the townfolk say "So THAT'S where everyone's been mysteriously vanishing for all these years" before dealing with the butcher. 🤣
I read Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain as a kid. Great memory! And as for the Gospel accounts, I like the magi from Matthew and the shepherds from Luke, but my favorite is John's "In the beginning was the Word ...". I always go to Christmas Day Mass to hear it read. A lot of people prefer Midnight Mass so they can hear the "Charlie Brown" reading from Luke. 😁
Man, I think I rambled just a bit there. So I must have enjoyed the video. Have a good one!

@@BryanM.R.-prionic1I’m all about the rambling. Glad you enjoyed it.
And for what it’s worth, the pictures stuck with me more than the stories too. I remember the toe story. It was very odd.

    My answers
    Joy to the world!
Lord ○f the Rings (all of them or just Fellowship if 3 is cheating)
    Let it Snow.
The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave one of my all time favs 5☆+5♡! 💕 💞 (also made me come up with the phrase "getting punched in the face by your own heart" lol)
    You're a mean One
Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao, the most angry character full of pure rage! (5☆), she makes God of War III Kratos look a bit forgiving if you get the reference.
    Santa Claus is…
The Wilds Exile by J.D.L. Rosell
    Twelve days
More Deadly than The Male: masterpieces from the queens of horror
    Little drummer boy
IT by Stephen King (first read it at age 11 lol)
Havnt solved your Red coat mystery yet but I'll focus my industrial laser on and see if I can't burn through it for ya! Heres a couple unrelated books I found so far lfhat sound like things I'd like "Ghost town stories II: from Renegade to ruin along the red coat Trail" by Johnnie Bachuski
"Close Her Eyes" by Lisa Regan (has a victim in a red coat)
    Frosty the Snowman
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (the character is a rare one that uses her coldness for good!)
    Holliday tradition
I celebrate "Happy Dew Year" where I drink as many flavors of mountain dew as I can get my hands on on the 31st of December and 1st I'd Han (personal thing I'm the only one that I'm aware of that does that)
Make sure to check Wordcat for the red coat book, I will but you might have better luck with memories to guide you.
The Christmas decor is still fine, I still have a Holliday romance to get to, so my season isn't over till I finish "set the record Straight" by Hannah bonam-Young lol.

@@zachreads I dig that phrase, getting punched in the face by your own heart. Very easy to visualize and given the cartoons I have seen, very possible if you are looking down when your heart beats out of your chest!!
Thanks, I might have an inaccurate memory. That thought plagues me. Also, I still have my Christmas decorations up AND still have a cozy Christmas romance to read… you are understood my friend. Haha
