This video clip presents how to create a free-form shading device for a multistory building by using Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and ARCHICAD. The new connection between the applications offers bi-directional geometry transfer. The basic geometrical shapes created in Rhinoceros now can be translated into full-fledged BIM elements in ARCHICAD while adding algorithmic editing functionality thanks to Grasshopper.

Why no connection between ArchiCAD and Rhino 7 yet? There is one for Revit... And they normally use Dynamo...

Hi! everything very impressive! inotice that the top beam is connected to columns by their top side..is it possible to say to grasshopper to connect them by the lower side or by the centre of the curve? i tried using "position" in grasshopper (by setting 0,1,2), but nothing happened..thank you!

Hi! For me the columns and beams are shown in archicad, but in rhino it only shows the curves.

If i want to have different dimentions of the colllums from thick at one side of the shading element to thin on the other side, is this possible to adjust in grashopper?

I Am using archicad-19,while instaling grasshopper-archicad, it gives message-rhino execute is required.Please explain and give solution to install.
