Great video. Archicad connections can be tough, especially when you’ve created a box structure for a dome like shelter in Grasshopper and want to make an Archicad wall and roof from the parametric box structure model. I’m still futzing around with this as Archicad objects are always, it seems, looking for a curve or a start point….I get the sense that Revit may have more flexibility to take such a box structure and treat it as a curtain wall of some kind but I’m far from sure about this.
Still plugging away at this dome-like structure that I want to add doors and windows to in Archicad….
I Imported full Archicad simple housemodel into Rhino. Nice. Tried this video to connect. But this dont work. I do understand that this is the other way around and so on.. But do you know how to use this the other way around too
Is there a way to use solid form convert to archicad or we must need curves?
You can do it with solids. Using geometry.

I can’t remember but you have to make sure you are using the latest version of everything for this connection to work.

I'm having some issues setting up the Archicad Connection on Archicad 24. When I open the GH on Rhino 6, after installed the plugin on archicad, it shows a message saying plug-in was installd against a newer minor SDK of grasshopper.
In archicad File menu>Interoperability>Grasshopper Connection> Start Connection, it says Grasshopper is not running.
Any tips? Thank you
Thats frustrating! I am assuming you have updated rhino to the latest, update archicad to the latest etc. ? you can check if you have the latest version in archicad and rhino. Let me know if you figure this out, I checked in some forums and wasnt able to find anything.
Hi Nate! That was the problem. I updated rhino to a 6.3 version and worked fine. Before I had a 6.1 version. Thanks

how can i learn, what tool that ive use to make something, i mean u know its like a bunch of tools in grasshopper that i dont really know what it mean and what i supposed to do
I would just check out some basic videos on an introduction to grasshopper to get familiar with how it works.
I can not connect gh to archicad. How can I know the port which archicad uses?
