Would you consider doing a video dying a too light grey wig with the rit dye to darken it a bit. I have several wigs with the gray just to light and would like it to be a more darker grey look. Thank you in advance for thinking of us silver sisters!
Hi, I have 3 short and wavy synthetic wigs (long hair does not suit me, sadly) that I would like to dye. I have bought the RIT Dyemore colours I need to dye one pastel pink, one pastel lavender and one pastel blue. I would like to keep the waves but have a fear they will all straighten. Having watched your video (also many others) I have yet to find one that features short wavy wigs. I wonder if you can offer any advice, please? I would appreciate any help as this is all new to me. Many thanks.
@grayyourway I bit the bullet and am happy to say the colours came out just as I wanted BUT I did lose the waves. After blow-drying I am not too upset that they are now straight as they have plenty of body and now look more like my own hair did. I have made an appt with my hairdresser who will be trimming the fringes and sides which are now longer having lost the waves. All in all, I am happy with the result.

so you put it in the pan with cold water and warmed it up to simmer? You did not boil?
