They sent me a pair of jeans that were mislabelled. Said they were a 3x, but I own multiple pairs of their 3x jeans that fit fine. This pair i couldn't get past my knees, let alone my hips. My sister wears a size 6/8, and they barely fit her! But they refused to give me a refund.... Also, one time i placed an order, some items were out of stock - in stead of not charging me for those items, they still charged me the full amount and gave me a "store credit" instead - super annoying! But their jeans fit really well on a curvy girl like me, so I keep taking the risk and going back. I am wearing a pair of their joggers right now and it's super comfy. It's a love hate relationship with this company...

So in conclusion, fashion Nova clothes look great and definitely look like you see on the picture and they fit really well but the fabrics are just very cheap.
Fashion nova is for really curvy women. You have a small waist and some of the clothes looked cute but like the shorts, you expected them to look the same as the add but the model had hella hips and thick thighs. There was no way they were going to look the same on you. Same thing with the wine colored dress. Your body type just isnt made for most of their clothes and the tops were too long because you aren't as busty. There's nothing wrong with a thin frame but you have to dress for your body type

As someone who makes clothing, there's so much pressure to reduce the price of my products to suit the market, but I'm glad there's people like you who see every aspect of the process.
You’re right about how the cost of making the clothes isn’t cheap but that’s not their only expenses. The reason the majority of mass retailers have a specific price point is because of all the different places like shipping warehouses and offshore businesses they have to be sent out to. These companies don’t just make the products in one place and then ship them out to stores and that’s it everyone gets paid a certain amount and goes home. If it was like that then all of our clothes everywhere would be cheap. These mass retail companies have places and people everywhere that make the clothes, make the tags, make their shipping supplies, etc. and when the clothes are ready to go out they go from this warehouse to this warehouse to this warehouse. And all of that moving around isn’t free for them. The cost of their materials & labor aren’t the only expenses here.
Aside from sizing (things fit on everyone differently, it is especially hard to reference since the models are extensively have had Brazilian but lift procedures), most of the issues you had with your items were due to you ordering things you don’t actually like. Order things you like next time!

Reading "700 spent on clothing" I expected the items to be very expensive. But it turns out they're not. If you don't want to spend 700 on clothing, buy less stuff. It annoys me when people buy stuff they don't need and complain about the prices while the actual workers in the textile factories hardly earn anything. But then again, I wasn't forced to watch this video.

I recently got a refund
They sent me a pair of jeans that were mislabelled. Said they were a 3x, but I own multiple pairs of their 3x jeans that fit fine. This pair i couldn't get past my knees, let alone my hips. My sister wears a size 6/8, and they barely fit her! But they refused to give me a refund.... Also, one time i placed an order, some items were out of stock - in stead of not charging me for those items, they still charged me the full amount and gave me a "store credit" instead - super annoying! But their jeans fit really well on a curvy girl like me, so I keep taking the risk and going back. I am wearing a pair of their joggers right now and it's super comfy. It's a love hate relationship with this company...

Fashion nova is for really curvy women. You have a small waist and some of the clothes looked cute but like the shorts, you expected them to look the same as the add but the model had hella hips and thick thighs. There was no way they were going to look the same on you. Same thing with the wine colored dress. Your body type just isnt made for most of their clothes and the tops were too long because you aren't as busty. There's nothing wrong with a thin frame but you have to dress for your body type

As someone who makes clothing, there's so much pressure to reduce the price of my products to suit the market, but I'm glad there's people like you who see every aspect of the process.
You’re right about how the cost of making the clothes isn’t cheap but that’s not their only expenses. The reason the majority of mass retailers have a specific price point is because of all the different places like shipping warehouses and offshore businesses they have to be sent out to. These companies don’t just make the products in one place and then ship them out to stores and that’s it everyone gets paid a certain amount and goes home. If it was like that then all of our clothes everywhere would be cheap. These mass retail companies have places and people everywhere that make the clothes, make the tags, make their shipping supplies, etc. and when the clothes are ready to go out they go from this warehouse to this warehouse to this warehouse. And all of that moving around isn’t free for them. The cost of their materials & labor aren’t the only expenses here.

Their prices are def overpriced but always purchase when its a sale, then it’s not that bad.
Aside from sizing (things fit on everyone differently, it is especially hard to reference since the models are extensively have had Brazilian but lift procedures), most of the issues you had with your items were due to you ordering things you don’t actually like. Order things you like next time!
