Because Wish uses a proper designed piece on the models in pics and then use cheaper material and look-a-like designs for the actual product. I was actually happy w a black faux leather jacket, bought another one in a different color same size, but it fit totally different so I think its different companies who produce all stuff and it's random if you get a better or worse one.
She s not shaped like the model one bit
If it's a curvy model, their smallest is still gonna be too large, because it's made for voluptuous women. If it's a skinny model, their largest isn't gonna be big enough, because it's made for petite & short women. No matter what the size chart says, because Wish size charts are bs. Besides, they often have 2 different size charts for products as well, one in the pics section and one under information, and they can state different measurements. So you just gotta take a chance and that's what they earn money on.

As much as I love your channel I'm concerned of this trend of buying huge amounts of clothes and can't stop thinking about the waste being produced. Fast fashion is not a joke and we all should do something to help the envoiorment fashion wise, because it's the second most damaging industry in the world.

Depends on your payment method. I usually opt for wish cash. You get your money back in matter of minutes. With other methods I've learned it's about 5 business days

When I buy things from Wish (and I buy a LOT), I always read the reviews on the comment section first. I'm a happy buyer. I've bought fantastic things at the cheapest prices.
Also as for the size, why don't you check the size chart? Every dress has a different size chart. An S for one dress could be an M or L for another.
As for the revealing black dress if you're too shy to actually wear it out why buy it?

They may have one out of 20 Items that you’re lucky enough to look good. And she says why she bought the stuff. Plus when doing a review on companies you get something’s you normally wouldn’t get..

It wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. The fabric is too low quality.
I was literally thinking the same thing. Like that jumper just needs to be taken in a bit and it would be perfect... the white sparkle dress just needs a small alteration under the arms to make the top fit better and wear a poof skirt/slip thingie underneath (can't remember the name of the stuff lol)... there are plenty of very simple and inexpensive ways to alter these dresses etc to make them functional and not an entire loss of money.
Some ive seen are hopeless... but could be used for parts etc to make something entirely different...
As for the "cheap" material comment... who cares??? Anyone with some skill would be able to work with it... hell cosplayers would love it if everyone donated their crappy knock off dress fails to them just for the free fabric to use for costumes... all Halloween costumes are made from that cheap shit too... im sure youd be able to make plenty of awesome costumes with all those cheap dresses for less than what buying one off the rack would cost.

Ya I agree with what you ladies are saying and I'm sure there are some items that are great or at least salvageable. That romper IS extremely cute. I'm just thinking it would make more sense to go to the goodwill or similar and start w higher quality instead of buying stuff from wish with no idea what it will be like until it arrives
Wow, I usually don't comment on videos but so many people are so negative. I think I was a good review of an interesting company. I've ordered a few things from Wish and all you haters who just say check the size chart. They usually don't match your usually size or there literally isn't one. I think you did a good job, :) The DIY red two piece was probably my favorite!
Gianna S Wish is clothing primarily made in sweatshops in china. They exploit child labor and pay their workers very little wage, they work in very poor conditions.
Yea well plus the fact that the pictures used on wish are of MODELS in the pictures they have huger proportions than this girl in tje video so it goes to show that pretty much society is telling you that if you dont have big boobs or big arses then you cant wear things such as this (the pink dress at the beginning and white dress)..... Also different countries have different sizing charts and different expectations(not actually the word I'm looking for bc im having a brain fart... But it'll do...) Also the wedding dress.. What ppl dont realize is that youd actually need a mesh petticoat type thing... That is what makes the wedding dresses poofy

Wish doesnt do returns, they do refunds. They cant be bothered to deal with getting the item back so if somethings wrong they just give you your money back

Believe it or not the “comfy” clothes I’ve gotten from Wish like the hoodies & tracksuits/sweatsuits have been surprisingly good! I normally wear a U.S. XS or S, but I usually go for a M on Wish so I can get a slightly oversized fit. Haven’t been disappointed yet but I always look at the reviews and pictures/videos people post of the items. I got my “teddy bear” jacket from Wish and I get soooo many compliments on it no one can believe its from Wish and only cost like $8 (I think the Urban Outfitters version is around $79.) oh! And the jewelry I’ve gotten from Wish has been SO good! I always make sure it’s stainless steel or sterling so it won’t turn but the quality has been great! I was a huge Wish skeptic and only just started ordering from them a few months ago but now I’m addicted 🤦🏼♀️😂

That is the trick though to wish items. Look at the pictures of other customers and then you get a good sense of what the items actually look like and if they work or if you should order up or down. I haven't been disappointed by that strategy yet. And yes I've had items not show up but I've always had a full refund and I would never order a wish item that is an actual necessary item because of the waiting time anyway

I feel like most of the dresses were made for a different body type. Most of the models had a more curvy and hour glass body type, the dresses worked better on them. Since its wish and the dresses are kinda a bad quality the dresses are most likely only made to fit and work well with the body type of the model

Actually the models usually wear very high quality clothes, they're not modelling for Wish. They are modelling the high quality clothes and Wish copies these clothes, makes a cheaper version but still use the high quality clothes models. If you look at the models carefully you can tell they are not wearing cheap fabric. High quality fabric always fits better and a well made dress can make even a box shaped hobbit like me look good. And don't forget the photoshop. Wish knows this, so it uses these photos. Not having a go at Wish, so many companies do this too. No one wants to see a frumpy looking model, it's just business. Same with their wigs, most photos are taken of the high quality product and then a copycat product is made. Also, most of these models are photoshopped to make the product more sellable. An hourglass figure like that of this youtuber's is actually far more realistic. It's just a tactic used to sell but it is becoming worse. Fashion Nova, for example are so bad for photo shopping their models. Anyways sorry I'm writing a book now 😂 have a nice day. But I checked out a page called Beauty false on instagram. It was a real eye opener into how much women photoshop themselves into an entirely new body and it looks real. A lot of these instagram models do not have hourglass shapes at all. Scary. The extreme hourglass figure is not common at all.

The last dress in the photo is actually a $5,000 Lazaro wedding gown! They took the photo of the dress and remade it with cheap material. I’ve actually worn the real deal and it’s definitely completely different. It’s absolutely magical in real life.

You can still possibly get your money back. I've bought a bralette from Wish and requested to return and receive a refund due to getting the wrong color. Wish responded and allowed me to keep my item and still gave me a full refund.

In her defence... the pic wasnt as revealing as the dress she recieved.
The one in the pic was better tailored to the model. The sheer section wasnt as wide in the pic as the dress she got, neither was the gap in the plunge neckline/cleavage area.
If the black material had curved inwards like it did in the image it would have covered her chest better and not left her feeling overly exposed.

I have gotten a lot of wonderful things on Wish. You have to read the reviews and look at the client photos and videos.
What are some of the things you ordered that you like?
Crystal Lee I like the costume jewelry and accessories, shoes are usually surprisingly great or woefully cheap. I’ve learned to read the reviews and I do not buy anything that doesn’t have photos or thorough reviewer notes. Makeup is also usually pretty good. Even the counterfeit stuff. But same rule applies as with the shoes. All the skin care and skin care tools (ie derma rollers) have been very good and most recently I am loving the herbal appetite suppressant patches. I expected them to be total snake oil but they genuinely work for me.
Yeah, plus you have to pay attention to the sizing charts and measurements they post for most clothes. Like read them. Because a size small in America is waaay different than a size small in china. (Where a LOT of the clothing comes from)

We should be more aware of what we do, and looks aren't the only thing we should pay attention to when buying stuff. Just think about that.

I love your videos a lot, and they are very interesting but everytime i see one of these "i bought ___ cloths from wish" videos I get a little bothered. I order from wish a lot (maybe an unhealthy amount lmao) and *everything* I get is very good quality, all you gotta do is look at the reviews very carefully. The reviews show how many people bought the item, the rating, even store/seller ratings. And something I find *really* helpful is that customers also show pictures of the items most of the time. And if one item looks suspicious, there are many other sellers who sell the same thing with better reviews. Idk, I just wish people would look at reviews before buying the items, especially clothes since fast fashion is really harmful.
Yeah i buy stuff from wish too, and it's kinda obvious that if you get something without paying attention it won't be like the pictures most of the time. I'm quite satisfied with all the stuff that I bought tbh (sorry if my english is not so good, I'm Italian 😂)

For the first two dresses (If you haven’t returned them already) maybe you could make some modifications like sewing elastic to the loose parts so that they can maybe fit tighter.
