I'm a sneaker head, I probably own around 80 sneakers and have been watching sneaker videos since the beginning of UA-cam. This video is by far the best sneaker video I've ever seen. It has a story, narrated beautifully. You made your points so clear. I'm very very impressed by that. I was 14 when 10 years ago so I was not aware of the brand. I've been tryin to avoid it for 4 years but then I came to an understanding of the brand. Last week got my first golden goose pair the same red ball star sneakers from your video and I was blown away by the quality of the sneaker. Also the arch support is so nice like you mentioned.
I like all of them. They are quite simple, basic, you can wear them with almost anything and they still look good. Plus they are very comfy (I never wear socks)
I have mine from a few years ago and while they are comfortable, I would never re-purchase them. My opinion is that quality and a "style" sneaker doesn't need to be such a luxury price point. The price point is beyond bonkers. My GG are collecting dust in my closet and my most shameful purchase.....
I own two pairs of Superstars and one pair of Hi-Stars. I wear them quite frequently, although the hit star tends to get worn more often than the others.
For me Golden Goose will never die. Its that subtle designer shoe that I can reach for day after day, compared to maybe getting 1 or 2 wears a year on something like my Valentino Rockrunners or McQueens. Theyre comfortable, quality, and make any outfit just pop. About 6 pairs in of stardans and even got some superstars for my 4 and 5 year old daughters . Also, theyre clothes are amazing and fairly priced too !
I have slowed down on wearing mine because I have been feeling like they're played out. My (small) Nordstrom has a huge selection of them on display. To me that usually means the market is saturated. Still, I love how mine look and they are oh so super comfortable!
I have 2 pairs thanks to a very generous MIL ❤ and I love them both. They're very comfortable and the insole does make a big difference. I like how some of GG styles mimic typical menswear shoes like the Mid Ball toe looks like a classic men's wing tip. I'll wear these for years mainly because I didn't get the glittery ones, but I see the appeal
im a foot dr and i own a pair of GG sneakers. The insoles does not help with plantar fasciitis if anyone is wondering they should spend this much amount of shoes thinking it can help treat the condition
I like the Ball Star silhouette, but I find them to be too narrow and the insole too elevated and hard. Not very comfortable sneakers. If GGDB could make them slightly wider (more normal tbh) and develop a plush premium insole, I would buy these till I die. Granted, I am a stickler for quality leathers and materials. If I'm buying luxury sneakers every 3-4 years, I don't mind paying the premium.
How do the ball star models fit compared to the super star models? I’m a 42 in the super star & they fit perfect. But the ball star looks a little longer?
Just bought one after I got laid off cause fuck companies and yes to my happiness, I love the brand and the quality is superior to any other ive tried, including Common Projects and Maison Margiela.

thank you so much for the compliment and happy to hear that you love your GG sneaks!

I think it's odd seeing anyone wearing socks in them. I, like you, never wear socks in mine, too.
the ball stars look really good, I ordered two, one in white and one in black
Oh… i have one of your NOs! and I think they make my very basic outfits more joyful… Every gall needs a little glitter ✨and I’m a 51 year old mom 😁
Haha love to hear that you are rocking the glitter! People certainly love them, but I'm just not a glittery kind of gal.

I totally get this.
Just curious if they’re comfortable why you don’t wear them?
@@pjeames3334 just find I don't reach for them - I also have other comfortable shoes.
we'd love to know what other comfort shoes you are reaching for!

we love to hear that you are a golden goose stan! And great tip on the clothing, we will have to take a peak!
GG sneakers are STILL COOL 😎
I'd be thrilled if people who ride bandwagons don't but this brand anymore. It's for those with a rock 'n roll heart. Everyone else please move on.

Totally get what you are saying!

Got to have at least one glitter pair!

Good input.. I love your comments 😂
I want to buy the classic ones, but to wear them like everyday. Are the worth the money?
They are worth $75

You would be a 41 in the Ball Star.
Is it same sizing with adidas sneakers?

GG IPO 👀
They cost a million dollars ...So I got 5 pairs!! 😂😂
Still? They never were.
#LUYBAG I love you so much and watching your videos makes my day brighter❤
