Ohh yes.. Freedom have a brilliant drum solo, and ones I heard another live one, but can't seem to find it again on YT, that had fist a kick ass bass solo as intro, and brilliant drum solo in the middle.

Dang, I'm starting to get nostalgic for Akane's teeny hat. And I'll second the recommendations for the official live video for Freedom.
Yes...miss "The Tiny Hat Of POWER!!"...But I read somewhere someone said it was causes her problems...so she had to remove it..Oringinally it was MISA's...but she didn't like wearing it...so Akane as a her friend wore it.

Notice how seamlessly Misa goes from picking to slapping, amazing! Saiki pee break song is the unofficial name of this song, done only live and gives the singer a break. Freedom live for a killer drum solo. One of the best instrumental songs ever!

There is a drum solo in "Onset", it's just miniaturized. Akane has a very good long solo in "Freedom". Also good song for that is "Domination", but that is also short (longer than "Onset" though).

You might not have gotten the drum solo you wanted but I bet you listened to it ten more times.
This is a masterpiece. One of the best rock instrumental. My only complaint is that it's way too short. "Freedom" live is where you get Akane's amazing drum solo that lead's up to a guitar solo. Looking forward to that reaction.

Currently, there are three BAND-MAID live BLU-RAY (DVD).
at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST in 2017 [1h editing]
at Zepp Tokyo in 2018
at Line Cube Shibuya in 2020
However, other than the 2020 live, 2017 and 2018 are currently out of print, and AMAZON has a premium price for each.
2017 BLU-RAY 27789yen (268.49 $)
2018 BLU-RAY 49600yen (479.23 $)
Due to Amazon's system, the premium price as a high evaluation for this BAND-MAID is not returned to BAND-MAID, and only the reseller makes a profit.
In other words, the purchase is ridiculous.
ONSET, CROSS, REAL EXISTENCE, uploaded to the official channel are from 2018 live.
However, none of the 2017 TAKEs have been uploaded to the official channel.
There are no signs that they will be sold together at the official channel store, 2017 Live 2018 Live.
The 2017 live includes "PUZZLE" not acoustic, "TAKE ME HIGHER !!", etc., which are often talked about.
The 2018 live includes "DON'T YOU TELL ME", which was the most played on BAND-MAID before being deleted on UA-cam, and has a fun battle between guitar and bass.
The two live performances are recorded with the enthusiasm and wonderful performances of a young band riding an updraft.
But now, the praiseworthy live show is about to be buried in the dark.
BAND-MAID has transferred their company, but depending on the situation at that time, there is a risk that those live performances that the previous company owned the copyright will be completely dropped into the darkness.

There is a short drum section following Miku's spot. Freedom has the best and longest drum solo. It is a fun song that isn't very complex. It isn't a rocker, but a quality song nevertheless that they enjoy playing.

Freedom (official live video). This is not one of their heaviest songs, but a good song with a great drum solo. If you would like a bass solo go with Dice (official music video) or play (official live video) for a heavy bass song.

MISA is Geddy Lee, Peter Cetera, Tal Wilkenfeld, and Noel Redding all in one player. She is so versatile...and nobody "hides the pick" better. Kanami and Akane are also on another musical planet...and Miku gets better on rhythm all the time, thanks to her guitar teacher, Kanami.

Great that you’re reviewing probably the best all female hard rock band creatively and artistically.
There are a lot that just monotonous solos that don’t tie in with the song. (Lovebites,Babymetal).That’s something Kanami excels at. She one of modern day great songwriters.
What Makes Band Maid so good is their diversity from hard rock to punk to pop to acoustic. It’s a sign of a great band. The artistic way to express music so well.
Domination has a great building momentum guitars mid section then tails to a brief solo. It’s unique when using different genres in the 1 song.

She did get a drum break. I think that it would've been too predictable to put a full drum solo in the instrumental song. Plus I want to say that she got a mid song solo on a different song later that evening. This was from their Zepp Tokyo show from a few years ago, so it is possible that she wasn't feeling a solo that night. Akane has been cited as being the bands "leader" so she may have chosen the set list and opted not to take a solo for whatever reason. But I could stand to see my rhythm sections get some solo time as well. There are too many bands who seem to neglect that part of the band.
