Bought this club about 2 months ago. It’s totally changed my game. By far my favourite club in my bag. I’m a high handicapper only paying golf 6 month, wether off the fairway or tee. It never lets me down. I’m a chronic slicer. This club is arrow straight every time.
I know this is a year old post but I'll ask haha. Do you also own the other Wilson Hybrids? (4 or 5) and if so how do they compare to this one? Is the Fybrid basically a 3 Hybrid (specs seem to indicate that)?
@@RyanMetcalfePGA I just ordered it. What made me do it was your video, and I also got a Launch Pad 5-wood, which has turned out fantastic. Just subscribed to your channel.
Hi Ryan...I am a high handicapper and I am looking at the Wilson Launchpad irons to help me have more fun and lower my score, and I like the look of this club too, but I have a tendency to hit everything left. I notice your shots were going left a bit too, so would this only make my shots worse? Great video...Thank you!
I have some Tour Edge clubs that have similar draw bias. I have to aim out right side to get them to land where I want the ball to go, as I am not a slicer of the ball. You have to adapt your aim/ starting line.
The reason I bought the Tour Edge 1/2 set of hybrid-irons was because they were really cheap, plus I was curious if they would perform the same as the Cleveland HB Launchers my wife has in her bag. ( Answer: No, I think the Cleveland product are easier to hit) I found one of these Wilson FY- brids for $100Au and bought it out of curiosity. After having tested it I think Wilson's claims are accurate. I cannot work out why for beginners and senior players, so few golfers take advantage of this style of club, many persisting with the old cavity back irons they have used unsuccessfully for decades.

Great review, I really appreciate your insight as a newer golfer. Very unbiased and true. Thank you
geeze, even your laugh seems painful
Bagged this for four months now, and it's a keeper for me...
Good video. Well-explained, good production. Am thinking about trying this club.
Thanks for the kind words Robert glad you enjoyed watching. Let me know how the club goes if you get one 👍
