      Simming like this can actually transition into real job opportunities, because it's literally 1/1. Being dedicated enough to buy this sort of equipment is also a plus for some employers.

    Incorrect procedure starting from external power. For ON. 2,3,1 & 4. Off 4,1,3,2. 3 & 2 are the primary power sources, 1 & 4 are secondaries.

      You'll be sick of doing this every time, so don't be smart

      @@Liimaboy Sick or not, you follow the checklist to the letter, the same way, each and every time. Every time!
      When you start deviating from the checklist and correct procedure mistakes happen, things get missed and you could end up in a very bad situation.

    • @Liimaboy
      @Liimaboy 6 днів тому

      @@sparkplug1018 Dude, I don’t understand how disciplined you need to be to do it every time;
      And errors in the checklist are quite easy to recognize; problems will only arise if you are inattentive.

    • @sparkplug1018
      @sparkplug1018 6 днів тому

      @@Liimaboy Well the discipline part is actually pretty easy, crashing just isn't something I want to do. And there have been incidents/crashes because of the pilots either missing or omitting steps in their checks.
      Plus, I own the helicopter, so aside from dying I guess I have an extra incentive to do things the right way.

    • @Liimaboy
      @Liimaboy 6 днів тому

      @@sparkplug1018 Well, we have different points of view, because for you discipline is not difficult, but for me it’s the opposite; and with attentiveness the same thing - different opinions

    Correct SOP is EXT PWR is 2,3,1,4

    • @MrFerparedes
      @MrFerparedes 21 день тому

      Will different airlines have a different SOP? Or is this Airbus standard?

    • @PiSkiS320
      @PiSkiS320 21 день тому +1

      @ Normally SOPs are a recommendation from the manufacturer, airlines can modify them accordingly under their responsibility, in this case, it’s an Airbus recommendation in order to provide AC power to the avionics efficiently.

      Pilots never get planes like this from cold and dark, engineers are usually the ones doing that.
