It's great to see Tonya Harding being acknowledged and discussed purely as an athlete, alongside the other skaters. Instead of being treated as a 'taboo' subject who is only mentioned in reference to the Kerrigan incident or never talked about at all.
That 3 axel after the 3 minute mark was the highlight of the 92 games for me. Midori couldn't keep focused due to many factors and for her to still pull off that program with a 3 axel and other beautiful toe and edge jumps was truly special.
What do all 3 of these athletes have in common that you probably never thought they had? They all won Dancing with the Stars. Kristi won in season 6, Meryl won in season 18, and Adam won in season 26.
I like that they have acknowledged Tonya Harding as an athlete and nothing else! Not defending her or what happened in 94 but in 92 the scandal didn’t happen yet.....she was just another competitor. I think she deserves any credit before the scandal happened personally!
Fashion wise, Nancy's costume is timeless without a doubt. Kristi's was definitely an iconic 90s look, and I really liked Tonya's bangs and costume as well
Omg you guys I really enjoyed this. So much info was revealed here. Kristi has never shared a lot of these details before. And Adam, his insightful analysis of Kristi's program is an epiphany to many of Kristi's critics. She really was ahead of her time and her special relationship tandem with Ito really raised the sport.
Why are you inviting a sexual misconduct apologist ( who later publically backtracked on his support but didn’t not publically apologize to one of his victims) and someone who attempted to silence the case of a 16 year old athlete concerning alleged bullying from one of his friends and clients at his former training rink? Anyway, Kristi is an absolute legend and queen and was a huge inspiration to me and my mom. 🤩

🌠 ESPN's 30 for 30 The Price of Gold was amazing ⛸️

is it just me or Kristy Yamaguchi hasn't aged one day since 1992???!!!
She sure hasn't
She looks great! You can tell she's taken care of herself over the years after leaving pro skating! 😊
This was wonderful! ❤
She looks like she’s aged maybe 10 years, definitely not almost 3 decades!! Wowowow
This was everything! Thank you!!!

I loooove this interview format!

Technically, Midori Ito won the free skate at the Olympics in '92, not Kristi.
She did.
Kristi's artistry was never compromised
Always loved her style
The perfect all around figure skater
THEY’RE ALL MIRRORBALL WINNERS WHATTT
オリンピック金メダリストのクリスティーは、やはり輝きがちがう🎉ショートは可憐な演技で、フリーは力強くカッコいい演技だった、真のチャンピオンである
the best way
You all should have done the opening hand choreo together at the end!
Watching pro athletes/celebrities fangirl over other pro athletes/celebrities is SO fun to watch
Rippon was only two years old when Yamaguchi won gold in Albertville.
hello my world is indonesia

Why do we always talk about race? lol
She's amazing because of her hard work and skill. We always talk about race then complain America is racist.
Lol
I'm sorry but Rippon acts like a prat. Acting so coy and having exaggerated expressions is so incredibly disingenuous.
First
Ironic you picked all of the figure skaters who won Dancing With The Stars for this interview.
hi
