My uncle once spoke with a supercar mechanic and the guy said flat out if you want a reliable daily driver supercar, buy a Porche. The Lambos and Ferraris will give you fits as daily drivers mechanically wise. They are made purely for racing. With Porche, you get the best of both worlds. :)
@@amexna They are perfectly suited for driving as much as any owner desires. You are making up nonsense, "tuned for the track" . Porsche 911 GT3, 718 Cayman GT4 are track cars built for the track and owners buy them for just that the track but they also drive them around off the track city and highway driving. You can take a lamb or ferrari on a road trip or drive jt any which way around LA or up HWY 1, cross country, scenic road trips, around Los Angeles, Miami etc. This Porsche dd nonsense and other cars not dd nonsense is being parroted by the clueless casuals. 😂 @ "tuned for the track".
If you have the means, this is the Porsche to get. It's not as flashy as a Ferrari or a Lambo, but it's not as annoying as those cars, either. Yes, you have to pay a lot, but what you get is worth every penny.
There's a reason Porche has won more 24 Hour Le Mans than any other brand. Also the cars are super reliable. Sure they are expensive, but you'll save money in maintenance and repairs. Also they retain their value. Most brands you lose 50% of the value within the first five years, Porsche's retain significantly more value after the first five years, particularly 911's.
The Turbo S will do 0-60 in the low 2's and 0-100 in the 5's. It better be reliable because Porsce dealer maintenance fees are shocking. I used to own a Boxster and 30,000 mile maintenance was way up there in price. Oil chages alone $300.
This is a rewiew of a old 2024 turbo S. need to review the new turbo S . its a real monster the old 2024 is good, but the new one is a real game changer...
I’m sure it’s a phenomenal sports car, but at 300k-I’d be torn towards something with a bit more “wow” factor. At that price, you could certainly afford something far more unique. At 90-150k--I get it. But 300k, well, I’m not sure anyone would ever believe you paid that much if you told them.
What you just described is exactly why I bought a Turbo S. I wanted supercar performance without the "look at me" factor. Not everyone wants attention.
I’m actually in the market as we speak to get one. My car concierge is trying to find the right one for me. I can’t wait to get it and drive it everyday.
PDK is one of the faster and reliable robotic transmition. with the slower 6 speed manual is a fun slow turtle. PDK is faster in circuit and in 0 to 60 accel too . if you wanna a slower but fun porsche turtle turbo S need a 6 speed manual
@@billnorblat4047 C8 Z06 comparable performance and much much better sound for less than half the price. Oh and just wait for upcoming C8 ZR1. It will crush Porsche.
@@c5vette739any car can be faster, more fun to drive. No car can be better than a Porsche 911. You can walk in and easily buy a corvette available as they have many on the lot not moving. For a Porsche, good luck waiting.
@@c5vette739 Corvettes are cheap knockoffs of Euro supercars. Porsche has the best dual clutch transmission and launch control on the market. A muscle car that's 1/3rd of the price will have 200 more horsepower but it will be 1-2 seconds slower to 60mph because it just spins its tires on a launch. The cornering ability isn't even comparable. German suspension can't be beaten by some random springs they found lying around the Chevy factory. Reliability is another thing that isn't even remotely comparable. A 911 can make it to 200k miles easily while a Corvette will be lucky to reach 50k. The interior quality is also much better on the 911 and the comparison is the same for everything else.
I swear all Porsches are over rated I think they're ugly as fug the 9 11 all of em ugly and I don't see the hype slow crap cars can get better cars for better value but if you have the sort of money to buy a Porsche you definitely don't buy a Porsche 😅

Absolutely true. And it’s also more fun to drive than Toyota Camry. 2016. Lol
😂
So lambos and ferraris willbreak down iif you dd them but they work well for racing? 😂😂😂😂
@@freesoul3371 yes, they are tuned for the track, not daily driving. You can obviously dd them, but it will be more expensive in the long run.

They say money doesn’t buy happiness, but if my daily driver was a 911 Turbo S, I would be happy every day
What years the best to get?

Best car ever.
What a gorgeous vehicle, truly iconic.
Great car, for sure.... a legend ... Hey Ben, they didn't let you do some highway runs ?? lol
You should buy it, it would make a awesome daily driver
Only 300k😆😆😆

Yes unfortunately the car has one little problem to an otherwise great car😅
@@freek3865there are zero problems with this Porsche.

Finally listened and slowed down while speaking. Good job Ben lol
At zero to 60 in less than 3 seconds and over 200 mph you will be the fastest kid on the block. Nice review. 😎
I'm working on ordering one. I can't decide on a paint to samp!e color so I am likely going white with high gloss black trim.
Yes, 911 Turbo S is a supercar, though not as gaudy as most supercars.
Very detailed review🎉
Fantastic car 👍👍💪😍
There is no substitute

How's the leg room on these 911 turbo s?

I can't think of a single supercar that can outperform the Turbo S at the same price point.

Indeed it's the best car ever.
Ben, buy one!

Anyone should buy a Porsche for their first vehicle
