The new turbo S is so fast it's nearly senseless. The can almost run high 9's in the quarter mile. Carwow got one to do 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds. Its 205mph top speed is limited to that speed. It's an insane car.

Nothing wrong with big wings and "look at me" styling, if it's functional. Daily driving a race car on the street is basically living the dream. If you want comfort and low key looks , take the PT Cruiser and proudly display a box of kleenex near the rear window.
My friend bought his second Turbo S last year. He was on a waiting list forever. He loves the car. I don't want a car that drives me, I want a car I drive. My 2017 M3 Competition (Dinan S2) is bad enough with its electronics, but at least it's rear wheel drive. Manual transmission and no traction control is the way to go, if you not only really like driving but are a good driver. Most of these new cars can't handle their power, without electronics to keep them on the road. Inexperienced drivers love to turn those things off, to show off to their friends. The sad result is often a wreck. Both cars I have raced (Spec MX5 & Formula Continental) have been manuals. The complexity of the driving experience with a manual, and no traction control, actually tests your skill and attention. Buying a Turbo S means you spent a poop load of money on power you can't really use, and probably are not capable of handling. While I have enjoyed the two times I rode with my friend, I absolutely prefer my M3. If I were to buy a Porsche, it would be a GT2 RS.
11:31 airflow direction is automatically controlled by the auto function, so leaving it on auto should do the trick Just select the temp and it thinks for you!
You must be all about car's looks then and have no substance. Roadsters/convertibles are the purest of motoring experiences. And if rigidity is your argument, that's an outdated notion as chassis are developed starting from the convertible model first.

That back seat is nice. No more driving just 1 passenger.
@PATRIOT HAM relax
The new turbo S is so fast it's nearly senseless. The can almost run high 9's in the quarter mile. Carwow got one to do 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds. Its 205mph top speed is limited to that speed. It's an insane car.
and however almost everyone refers to it as "an another 911"

Damn, I’m happy as a king that Doug is reviewing the 992 Turbo S. The latest generation of my favorite car reviews by my favorite car journalist.
2nd class passengers get out and walk I've got to deploy the wind deflector.
Doug I kind of like how they limit the number of buttons on the center console ... it gives it a nice clean look. The owners after a few hours would be able to go through the settings on the screen in no time.

Best car reviewer on youtube. Well done once again Doug.
Doug can you go back to the old way you used to do DougScores? I liked when you went category by category and explained your decisions.
Julian Fong no because then people will start pointing out his nonsensical decisions again
lol I guess he went back, didn’t finish the video yet
Yeah I miss that too..
He used the old way in this video, I don’t know if he will continue using it or not
He did!
Thank you for finally breaking down the Doug score again.

Nothing wrong with big wings and "look at me" styling, if it's functional. Daily driving a race car on the street is basically living the dream. If you want comfort and low key looks , take the PT Cruiser and proudly display a box of kleenex near the rear window.
I love the phrase “various different “.. so redundant, yet such a Doug DeMuro staple.

The most direct competition for this car is the Audi R8. Daily practicality and comfort, with incredible performance.
@@devo196047 the 911 is faster, not just than the r8, than the damn McLaren 720s. The 911 also gets better gas mileage.
@@sivvinod3187 the 720s beats the 911 turbos S in any form of racing except the 0-60 times. Idk how that makes the 911 faster.
Joe Bowen Racing Rather a manual GT3. Because of the sound and obviously the manuel^^
@@HeySers Agreed. GT3 is a superior driver's car over the Turbo S.
