Yes!!! I can't stand the taste or texture of cabbage so I thought I didn't like all kimchi but then I found radish kimchi and fell in love. I have a local restaurant who sells large jars of their radish kimchi and I make sure to keep, at least, one in my fridge at all times.
If you like cucumbers, you may like cucumber kimchi as well
@@yourfuturesurgeon Oh, heck yeah!
@@yourfuturesurgeonohh I love making kimchi with cucumber, it adds such a sweet freshness, even after it's been long fermented
You look sooo pretty with your hair down ❤queen 👑
thank you! I usually wear it up so I don't get hair in my food, but on that day, I left it down!
@@TheKoreanVegan you're stunning no matter what..And as a twenty year old you're so inspirational ❤️I adore you ma'am
You look stunning! And the food looks amazing too! Thanks for sharing
thank you so much!!
Hey Joanne, just finished making your mool kimchi today and omg....so good. So much better than any other kimchi I've bought in store. We didn't have the Fresno chili's so I used a dried erjingtiao chili but still so so good and easy to make! Thanks for giving us a kimchi recipe both me and hubby can eat (hubby unfortunately is allergic to most seafood 😢)
You are always looking good, but you are looking GEORGEOUS here.
And I also love Radish Kimchi ❤
Thank you so much Christina!
@@TheKoreanVegan I also was really surprised, when I learned how old you are.
You look much younger!
This is my favorite too!!! I can eat this everyday with every meal. I can never make it right.
It just occurred to me that you normally do a voice-over for your videos. This is different. Different is not a bad thing though. I'm glad you put a caption of what kind of kimchi that you were making. Before I re-watched it I was trying to figure out if you were using a ginormous, oddly shaped, pale cucumber to make kimchi with? I want to try cucumber kimchi. I've had both vegan and non-vegan cabbage kimchi. I like them both. I hadn't heard of radish kimchi until this video. I live in a really small town. I overheard a man telling someone that he lived in this town in the late 90's and had recently moved back. He said back then it was "White man's land. But now it has so many international people." As a black woman I was thinking "So I wanted to travel to Paris, Italy, Asia and the U.K. And all this time I've been "international?" I know you didn't really need to know all of that though. I just thought it was odd. Smh.
🔥🔥🔥🔥The kimchi look amazing keep up the good content Joanne 😎💪
I was watching your chapagetti video just now!!
oh yay!!! omg how good would this have been with chapagetti...lolol!!!
@@TheKoreanVegan oh my god yeah! Would've been bomb🔥🔥
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I've been waiting for this one. Radish kimchi is my favorite too. I must have had precognition because there is right now a radish sitting in my fridge, for this exact purpose! FATE! I love your videos and your book!
You look beautifullll❤
By the way can you try making cucumber and chives kimchi/kkagdugi??
Would love a recipe from you.
Hi! I made a cucumber moochim in my 10-course meal video, but will be saving that recipe for my cookbook. In the meantime, you can find the recipe for my cucumber kimchi here: www.wbur.org/hereandnow/2022/06/01/korean-vegan-joanne-lee-molinaro
@@TheKoreanVegan gotcha!
Oooh this looks so good, my mouth is watering.
Gorgeous. Food and fashion. ❤
Is that daikon? I use the Japanese daikon to cook, but I feel like the Korean version (less skinny) might taste similar
Yes! The korean versions are fatter and will taste a little different from the Japanese version!
My favourite Kimchi was one made by my ex boyfriend’s auntie who made it with small daikon. It was gone in a day!
Looks delicious so you have a recipe?
legit first...i love ur videos
