Another thing about senna is that she has insane build diversity. Her locket terminus set makes her extremely tank and practically bait with how much certain comps may end up committing to kill her.
lulu and soraka definitely need buffs. their stats are awful compared to other enchanter supports atm :( the rest seem... balanced. janna is definitely leading the pack though lol. i would nerf maokai and see how the meta settles. then access janna, lulu, and soraka. i honestly think mao needs to be hotfixed. not only is he the most played support, but he also has the highest banrate AND the highest winrate. wtf??? this is unacceptable.
Rakan is super great, but blind picking him is risky right now because most of his direct counters are meta. ( I'm Still first picking him #OTPLife) He struggles hard into Mao, Janna, and Bard who are all popular and strong right now. He's received 0 nerfs this season but his win rate and pick rate is steadily falling each patch since his hard counters are so strong and prevalent.
I really want to find a way to utilize swain in current meta cuz i like the champion, but overall i see my predictions for champions were accurate, tanks got stronger, both braum and taric are pretty high up and i was gonna go between those two
dont know how to feel. Been silver my whole life, started playing support, swain only, got to plat 3 in a week. Started playing Rakan and Janna and Maokai, dropped to Gold 2, and havent been able to get out. I realize this is anecdotal, and low elo it probably doesnt matter, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on these other 'high value' picks
What do you think makes Naut so low winrate currently? He’s always among the most picked supports and is picked regularly in pro. He is easy to play. But is always seemingly below 49% W/R?
He has very weak stats for how he is designed to go into a team fight. Most engage champs have some kind of ability that allows them to tank but naut only has his W. Naut is like karma in the sense that he is fine when he’s ahead and he always has an opportunity to get a lead but as soon as he falls behind he becomes useless.
Why do you call Janna's passive a rework instead of a revert? It's literally just the same passive she had before they reworked her during the mythic item era. In fact, that goes for nearly all of the changes they made to her in the fall. The only real difference is that they kept her new tornado speed, made her W movement speed permanent instead of just off cooldown, and got rid of her shield decay.
Players always say he’s a great blind but he gets stat checked so hard and falls off if he is slightly behind. Naut is constantly low win rate every patch for most seasons and there are so many better champions you can play.
Its insane how camille is 3rd highiest wr supoort rn and noone is talking about her. With hail of blades she is disgusting from lvl 1 when she land e on you and you die
opinion of a thresh main here : there is a lot less early game ability haste in the early game now for engage supports, so naturally thresh is now basically limited to 1 hook/E per fight, with spellshields being such incredible good items now it is rare you'll actually be able to make good use out of your spells, also with such a high amount of damage in the game he is even less tanky than he used to be
I feel like Seraphine and Sona are weak with enchanter items but a lot better with offensive ones like bloodsong? What are your thoughts on champs that aren’t supposed to but can go bloodsong?
i've been playing camille support for over a year now and have mastery 7 without ever playing her in any other role, i can now finally convince myself i wasn't trolling completely
mastery doesn't mean crap you may have an S+++++++ and still be the one who ruined the game or you can farm creeps not knowing a signle combo of your champion and farm those S'es for a mastery upgrade
Seeing my boy nauti so low make me feel sad but I understand why, he takes so much damage its hard to deal with mage supp since they can delete you (remeber of that lux/aphelios combo that just almost killed me in just 2sec)
Nami is being slept on, but I understand why. * Lucian Nami holds her back, and locking in Nami with Lucian more or less guarantees that your ADC will pick him regardless of if they play him and that is detrimental to her win rate. It is for this reason I perma ban him to save my ADCs from themselves. * A lot of Nami players build her as an Enchanter, when she should be built a bit more offensive like Karma, going Mandate > Oblivion Orb > Mejai's > Hourglass. She has a hard time making use of Enchanter items like Ardent, and significantly overpays for those items because she doesn't really care about Heal/Shield power, and also mana regen is a pretty weak stat. * She's not obviously broken like the trinity of Janna Bard Maokai. I think that if she's not A tier, she's top of B at the very least.
@@ShoDesu I wouldn't say she's hard to play, and definitely not more than certain other champions like Pyke and Bard that are further up the tier list. I don't think she's at the very top of the meta since certain other supports are so incredibly busted, but she's pretty good.
Even without Lucian, anytime i meet Nami in soloq it just feels like a free game. Bubble ez to dodge, ult also and besides that shes not as impactful on roams as many other supports. Its the same with sona, if you dont play into their game and space properly while doing damage when they are unaware its just free botlane. Also ez to play the 1v1 in botlane vs her compared to many other supports. She has sustain which is her only tool besides bubble that can catch u off guard if ur not respecting it. But again same story with sona. If u dont allow her to perma poke you she does nothing, u just roam faster than she does and shes less impactful on roams early. Vs Nami just start sweeper get to lane early and denie vision so she cant easily win trades. And if u cant achieve that then just space and as she walks back ( cos she about to go into 2v1 range) u poke her. Even if u cant poke back u just make her try to trade with u over and over without getting in range and shell fuck up her positioning at some point. Her bubble is like main reason bad nami players find success, theyll randomly hit one and get a lead or win lane due to it. But hard to get hit by it if u know what ur doing. I only soloq and dont duoq bot so my pov is from random teammates. Anything that has a good lvl 6 ult is instantly more scary than a nami to me, even sona, ashe, bard. They can all suddenly fuck your laner over if u roam or even if ur there. But sure maybe with better build paths she could feel stronger tho i doubt shell rise above the rest still
Shodesu is my go to person for support updates, guides, tips and tricks
Spunom is my goat
iv been spamming your Janna Build .... i started at emerald 3 now im Diamond1 with 77% winrate with her :D Thankyou Broooo
No me literally tooooo. Yesssssss 🎉
thats insane, could u link ur opgg?
As a Sona main this video helped me sooooooo much about finding out what mechanics and supports are currently meta. Thank you!!! 🙏
I still miss the bonus MS 🥾 of Shurelya's just by shielding or healing allies 😔
Maokai is perma ban for me. What a disgusting champ in the support lane.
Milio is quite op (above dia1) even challenger janna main players started to play milio last two weeks
my biggest problem with milio in solo que is the sheer reliance on teammates, janna has damage atleast, milio just prays carries are human
@@havocxmosquito2839 indeed, it's as if he behaves like a walking Yuumi, but I'll take him more than Yuumi still 😆

i just found out ur videos yesterday, and i really love em, an update to 14.5 tier list sounds good as a new video.

Reading “Rell (better Leona)” feels so good. She was always the “bad Leona” and seeing her finally popping off feels good

I just started playing lol and thank you so much for your videos! I'm able to learn more about the support role. I hope I do well :>
How is Nautilus in D tier? New to support so I'm glad I've found your channel
I really want to find a way to utilize swain in current meta cuz i like the champion, but overall i see my predictions for champions were accurate, tanks got stronger, both braum and taric are pretty high up and i was gonna go between those two
Hello what do you think about Thresh? why is he so low on the list?
Last season I made it to Platinum just by playing him

It’s funny because I’ve been silver/gold the whole time I’ve played until I picked up Maokai and senna. I shot straight up to emerald with a 65% wr

as a neeko player, she's not that good at high elo, but she's damn op at low elo if you know where to pick up all the leftover cs and 1v9
I've been having a blast with Hwei supp recently
where is ivern?
As an OTP yuumi i can litteraly blindpick Maokai and 1st time him and win you think ? (i'm diamond 2 atm)
Where would you place Hwei on this list?
Still no Galio Support.
That's what I'm saying

make a 14.5 one please!!!!!
why isnt hwei on here but sett and annie are? lmao he got played in LCS
How is nautilus in D class??

Engage/hook champs OP and puts naut D?
what is your thoughts about shaco supp?
Shaco support is actually pretty good this season because he counters a lot of engage champs
Poor Milio, newesr support and in C tier. Feels bad.
naut D tier makes me wonder what rank you are
Totally agree with the Maokai placement - I'm playing like an Iron and still got 6 wins in a row in Gold.
Its insane how camille is 3rd highiest wr supoort rn and noone is talking about her. With hail of blades she is disgusting from lvl 1 when she land e on you and you die
She's a worse option than Pyke and is also way more difficult to make work than other supports
Sleeping on Raka tbh
