A good mod for this car is the replacement of the recirculating ball steering to a more conventional rack and pinion one. It would really elevate the steering feel especially at the track, so far I haven't seen any crossfire owner change the steering honestly I don't know if it's possible considering how much real estate is available at the engine bay but it'd be really nice to see if someone succeeds with the mod
I would love to do something like this, but it would be very difficult. As far as I know nobody has changed out the recirculating ball steering on this car or any similar cars before. It would probably be possible but it would be all custom work and it would be very expensive.
That's a really nice setup. Did you dynoed your car already? I should have at least 450hp with all those fuel mods. My 2 cents, relocate the intercooler away from the engine and you will get awesome acceleration, low temps, and the most awesome supercharger whine ever. Trust me! Not an easy or cheapbmod but 💯 percent worth it.
The car has never been on a dyno, I don't think it makes 450 hp with the current setup I have, especially since it doesn't have stacked pulleys or a very aggressive tune. Relocating the intercooler to get even better airflow would be great, but I don't think there's much space to relocate it to.
These cars are a lot of fun! If you're looking to modify one you should check out needswings. Needswings offers a huge amount of aftermarket parts for the car.
Dude love the setup!! I also have a crossfire and want to mod it as a sleeper or just mod it in general don’t know where to start I know about needswings and they have ame big stuff there that I saw but I want to put either a turbo, twin, or a supercharger just need a little help on it if you could give me some advanced I’d really appreciate it!!
Thanks! I would definitely recommend checking out needswings. I wouldn't recommend adding a supercharger or turbocharger to a na crossfire, despite the srt6 having the same 3.2 liter v6 the srt6 has forged internals, something that the regular crossfire does not have. It would be much easier to buy a srt6 at that point.
when you mounted the rear wing. did you swap out the entire mechanical assembly from a base model, or did u just swap the wing alone and bolt that in ???
I also have a crossfire with an aero kit would like to hear or see how you mounted your kit more in depth as mine tends to fluctuate at high speeds, especially the side skirts and spoiler 😎
The best way to keep the aero kit sturdy at high speeds is by adding a lot of splitter rods. I have rods holding up my diffuser, side skirts, splitter, and even the ends of my wing.
tgsrtfire right now I have butterfly screws on the side skirts and I’m hoping there’s a way to replace those with actual nuts and bolts, if I do add rods like you I’m afraid of rust potentially happening since I daily my crossfire in the winter
See www.paulscrossfire.com it might help you. The mods' library for the crossfire. There are many pages so try the tabs on the top of the page. Im currently in 2nd on my autocross league :)
Great Content - I my self own a srt6 and appreciate your build

car looks grate just wondering what is the power
Me too! Hopefully I can get it on the dyno soon.
Great video. How you did the Paddle Shifters?
I bought them from a company called Latemodel21, but I don't think they make the SRT6 paddle shifter kits anymore.

I swapped out the entire assembly.
good things have known more about crossfire and think i will shift from mustang and get one for the starters, incase,
I'm sure you'll like it, they're 2 very different cars!
beautiful car man! i own a 300s ripp supercharged but have to say that crossfire would give it a run for its money.. Sick build man! Mopar or no car
Thanks!
You mean Mercedes?
@@JedemPoKucama no i mean chrysler. idiot

I too love the aero. Did you get it all from one place or?
@@Bonbon-og7cw I bought it all from a guy called "David Crossfire" you can contact him through Facebook. He sells custom crossfire aero kits.
Tim Smith I contacted him via Instagram @davidcrossfire7 definitely break necks when it’s on 😎
nice car you own a srt6 and how old are you 16? i'm 45 and could barely afford a normal crossfire n/a
I'm actually 21, I was able to make enough money working in middle school and high school to be able to afford to turn my srt6 into a track car.
Where did you get that grille?
Which exhaust is it? Mpe 16633 Magnaflow Catback? Or mpe 15054?
I bought it from Needswings. Here's the link to the catback I purchased www.needswings.com/magnaflow-srt6-muffler

Do you have an idea of what you dyno???
I haven't had it on the dyno yet, hopefully I'll find out soon after I get the larger fuel injectors and an updated tune.
@@theogmqb that's awesome I hope to see that soon, love the content
What kind of whp is it making
