sturgeon slough is single barbless, as is all moving water in bc, rivers, creeks, streams, and sloughs.
Yes I live in Victoria bc and you are allowed to use troubles and barbs for bass because they are invasive
Single hooks as there are going to be other fish it applies to in any waters in bc eg trout
Yes u can use treble hooks for bass and stock trout except for a few lakes. Barbless single hook in moving non tidal water.
You can use barbed in only lakes unless it specifically says no barbed hooks and trebles have the same rule both cannot be used in rivers/streams.
more videos bro! im new to Vancouver and wanna see the spots and the fish!!
there will be lots more for sure, Hit that sub button! Weather recently has been awful but tomorrow is a fishing day!
Thanks everyone for the subs and comments! Channel is growing! Every sub helps!
Just picked up a New camera quality game is going up to 4k 💪.
Awesome! You just got yourself a new subscriber here.
Thanks for the sub!!! Much appreciated 👍
Hey buddy if you ever come to Vancouver island I can get you on some bass from 3-6 lbs
I also have a UA-cam channel so maybe we could do a video together 👍
I actually thought bout going across the pond to fish a few lakes there. A video would be sick!
@EhFishin, much better places for bass around there than Sturgeon Slough, just go a bit farther down the road. Message me if you want more details, I live out that way and fish there all the time, 2lb bass are common now, go on the right day and you can easily catch a dozen in an hour if you know the area.
Yeah SS sucks now.
This season I'm going to do some fish with subs. Maybe do something like biggest fish wins a pack of bait or something.
@@EhFishin you can get into 2-6 lb fish pretty regularly out that way now, dont even need the kayak, you can shore fish it or even wade a lot of it, and even some really epic carp fishing if you time it right.
Where? Hints please. Ive been trying to prove to my brother that there really is fish in Vancouver hehe
Christopher Campbell Could you share with me the location? I wish I Could catch some crap there🤣
@@EhFishinlet us know if you are doing some fishing with subs . I'd definitely come out !
You were lucky. Triple hook is NOT allowed for fishing in river of BC.
This is a good spot for crappie
single barbless
Hey there I live out in Surrey bc , if your lake fishing and doesn’t state in the regs that it has to be single barbless hook you can if it’s a river system single barbless hook , also if you ever wanna go fishing I know some good spots shown by my cousin and places I’ve found on my own
Yeah river fishing always is single hook barbless. As for Surrey, Surrey has a few lakes and anything else after that that isn't in regs is apparently a non fishing zone. But I say fish it until someone passes you on, I'm all about catching and releasing with bass fishing. Regs will tell you everything, bass fishing in the lower mainland is a grey zone. I'm always up for fishing.
EhFishin yeah there’s my to many spots out in Surrey I either go with my cousin or my parents and they drop me off at the river I’m down to do some ice fishing this year but don’t know any spot if you do many could meet and fish ? Make an epic fishing vid!
EhFishin I hear of a lake out in Abby that has bass but not sure it’s also in the reg book too
Mill
Only if it freezes this year or its interior ice fishing
You went too late in the year by November the salmon already take over and spook all of the bass away best time to go is in the ugly early October weather and through a crank bait. Or in summer and through a yellow soft plastic
hey buddy, i am from Maple Ridge right by you, if you go to a little lake called "mike lake" you can catch some big mouth and some small mouth, i have only ever got big mouth at mike lake but it is a hot little spot that not many people know about, make sure you cast into the weeds, and dont give up if u catch a few small trout before u get any bass... because they are there 100%.. (mike lake is a small little body of water that you can access on the same road you take to get to alouette lake, if you are driving towards alouette just look for a sign on the left hand side of the road and you will see it!! its a dirt road about 2km to get to the lake after you turn left off of the main road that takes you to alouette lake)
Sweet, I'll deffs have to try it and maybe even make a video. I'm going to be doing some trout and salmon videos soon.
Had no idea there was bass in Mike Lake and I used to work at that park lol. Thnx
When he means barb does he mean it has two spikes and you can only have one or crimp off all spikes
Depending on lakes and where you are.. always check regulations. They will state the use of single hooks and barbless. If you are talking about hooks on the rear shank that have Barb's then no those are fine those are to hold bait. I'm talking about the barb just off the J.
@@EhFishin thanks
No problem! Regulations are constantly changing and can be confusing at times. Happy fishing!
DFO ? Did you call BC conservation officers for non tidal waters
At this time I actually did and thy gave me no direct answer for catching bass
I've had more luck in the Allouette, also in summer months
Pear Fishing I'm going to go out real soon to make tons more videos, Allouette is on my list for sure. I've bought tons of stuff recently to try.
Anything is better than Tim Hortons shit water coffee substance, otherwise nice
Honest to God I don't give a s*** about anything fishing for bass
My trebles have six hooks and twice as many barbs. Who cares
The law cares...
@@EhFishin ur right. Hang my head
More like... Table all my gear, take my car.. fine me and make me walk home. Lol
No its got to be 1 hook
How to Video game not for bass
