Man, it's a real shame you can't visit your old destroyed colony, I was really hoping for badger to... *Aquire* the remains of her family to create undead abominations.
Also shout out to that Yittakin. Fell from a spacer society to a medieval world and basically adopted the first two orphans he met, and now he's helping them on their revenge quest without a second thought.
He's no kamcoal but he's as good a replacement as he could be.
Isekai moment
Absolutely needs to be a mod. Imagine playing on a completely persistent planet. Maybe even start up an entirely unrelated faction/colony while other player initiated ones are running around. I don't have enough hours of this game under my belt to know how feasible this is, purely from a game flow POV.

A necromantic fire-witch who burnt off her own nose at a young age, making her look like a molten skull, fighting in a hallway made of the bones of fallen enemies next to her place of worship by pulverizing them with a literal evil eye.
And her little sister, who is the sweetest optimist, tirelessly working to make the fortress of solitude a home for a diverse set of drifters.
And her boyfriend who powered through months of paralysed, food poisoned torture with sheer willpower, converted, and got the terrifying incarnation of vengeance to like him by calling her delicate in comparison.
Writes itself.
it's some great stuff, yeah
We can't forget the wookiee the two girls hauled from the wreckage of his transport pod and nursed back to health, who would go on to become something of a surrogate father, caring for the holdfast's animals and feeding the ragtag bunch.
And the waster sent to them by Baox's mercy, who started as just a set of hands but would fight valiantly to defend their home, ultimately giving his life in glorious battle.
And his reincarnation, returned to the holdfast from the sky at the very site of his tomb in what can only be described as divine intervention.
And the sky lady with the hyperweave burka... Actually, no, she was pretty forgettable, but you get my point.

When I took a health class back in college, it talked about stressors. Moving was almost #1; more so than dealing with the death of a family member, getting fired, a new job, etc. Having a child was the only thing more stressful.

9:00: It cracks me up that Badger trying to out-fire an impid leads to her burning her face and almost getting kidnapped by an amused, uninjured imp. Flammable fire witches are at a bit of a disadvantage there.

11:00 Yeah Tainted has always been weird to me. It might make more sense if the corpse that the clothes are attached to is significantly decomposed, but a washer and dryer can quickly take the clothes of a deceased man/woman from "ick" to "Hand-me-down" status.
That being said, I have a pair of shoes in my room that I've never worn that supposedly belonged to an elder man who passed away whose family were giving them away...maybe it has more merit than I thought.
It definitely does. He probably didn't even die in them and it still feels weird. Honestly tainted is very realistic. Not in armor though. I don't imagine anyone would care about a piece of protective metal in combat situations. A shirt that's come from a corpse? That's another story entirely
@@Fiemus9 It's kind of part of why I wish that the recycle apparel mod was an in-game feature as opposed to a mod. I'd never use a shirt someone died in as clothes ever again, but that cloth is still functional and once stripped, cleaned, and taken apart its definitely usable for something else.
@@kerianhalcyon2769 For sure! I cannot live without that mod. Also mending should be part of the game too, it makes no sense that you wouldnt just sow something up with holes. Like: "Aw i know im surviving in freezing cold winter, but i simply cannot wear this shirt that has a hole, guees i must throw it off!" 😅
@@Fiemus9 One of the Vanilla Expanded mods adds a mending table and it's a lifesaver, especially if you're like me and tend to hoard tons of textile mats in between caravan trips.

EDIT: Now that I've watched the ep, it feels so somber. Yes, the survivors of Baox's chosen are rebuilding, but it feels like a shadow of the Badgerhold that was, a pale imitation of a life more and more lost to the fog of time...
Hey, Hazzor. I don't know if you tried this, or will ever see this but:
Go to Options, Then Gameplay, then increase the max number of colonies you can control. You can go back and settle down in Badger Hold temporarily for Badger to visit it.
Give it time Badger, you'll surpass stormlord Camcol soon.

Yeah I mean it's never been about thinking serialized content is worse or thinking I can't pull it off, it just performs worse on UA-cam, that's all.
I intend to finish it, I just can't focus on it at the expense of the channel overall.

I think it would be important to know since you had a shelf dedicated to it in the last series, if you cast Mend on someone, it mends their entire outfit to max rather than by a percentage, which I find vastly useful since I can have multiple outfits for pawns and not have to deal with maintenance

Hello Hazzor, I really want to thank you for getting me back into rimworld. I bought the game for the first time last year and just could not muster any enthusiasm for it or understanding but after finding your channel and watching tons of your rimworld stuff I redownloaded it to give it a retry and found out just how much I love it.
