That KSG reload was amazing. They paid attention to every detail and mechanic with that reload.

I like how some of the reloads from FC5 have been altered to be completely different, like the movement of the hands.

Some animations are a bit floaty, and look like animations from the old CoD games like MW2, but most are really well animated. They still have that iconic Far Cry sound, super gritty and mechanical, and the shotguns in particular were incredible. That KSG reload is the best I’ve seen in any video game.
The pistols and m1 garand animations have yet to look good in a farcry game. spas-12 is really nice as well

The reason some reloads look more older and slower is because they reused a lot of the far cry 5 reloads which are good but are a little bit slower

The PPSh-41 reload is remarkable. However, drum mags for the PPSh-41 are extremely rare. They would jam a lot when rounds get pushed up through the mag and would make a clanky noise giving you away. Not going to lie though they did a wonderful job.
whow are they extremely rare if most soldiers in ww2 used drum mags in their ppsh's?
@@miguel.sa_ In WW2, there were only handful (possibly only few thousands) of russian soldiers using drum mags for their PPSH due to weight. Most soldiers would carry a 35 round mag instead since it weighs less and can be easily be reloaded (and less jamming also).

I accually got this and it is a good anti-tank weapon. I would not advise you use it against air support, I haven't had a chance to use it against the poison gas planes. If somebody has attempted to use this against a plane
And by air support I mean helicopters

As much I like the far cry weapons, I just feel like having the most iconic weapons gets boring, personally the FAL was refreshing to see and the VAL, I just wish there are guns that replace the iconic ones instead, so we experience new ones. Instead of seeing the old ones over and over again, but this is just me.
A few of the weapons I disagree with, like the Desert Eagle and AK-47, it deserves to stay, but I do see what you're saying.
Far Cry 6 includes some of the classic weapons and a lot of brand new ones.
Far cry 6 does have brand new weapons like the Mg21, AS Val , Stetchkin APS, MP7, KSG, RPD, SKS, RMS-18 etc I would say they have done a much better job than far cry 5 in terms of weapon variety
like the SPÄS , the Cobray SMG and the weird CZ rifle, so much of interesting weaponry, but in the other side they're still lazy
@A I I'm fine with the Ak-47, since that gun is literally every where around the world, but the desert eagle not so much.
Personally if they removed the Spas-12 I would be fuming. That's my baby.
Glad it was straight to the point and that there wasn't a long ass intro or transition between every weapon to milk the video length. A subtitle that stated the weapon in a corner would've been nice tho, as I lost track of a quarter of them xd.

sometimes they differ in qualities but some of these animations are TRULY top tier, especially the KSG, FAL and Groza
wow, the non- ported animations (like not taken from previous games) are very good! i love the ppsh reload.
Ubisoft did a great job in the animations and sound design, I’ll give them that

@@thejeaker384 false. Insurgency has good animations but it's not like MW. Insurgency is more of the slow, methodical reload. MW is more of a fast, in your face type of reloads.
@@AwesomePolarBear Insurgency does feature emergency reloads, and there is also a version of these reloads when the gun is empty.
I mean of course velocity will change because of the different pace of the game but I think sanstorm reloads are more gritty and realistic, while MW ones (although very well made) are still arcadey in some regards

Most are pretty good some goofs of course like in the SKS and the FC5 re used reload on the AK Annoys me and I am impressed on the realism for the KSG
Don't forget that some guns are still mirrored. Like the SPAS12 or the M14.
The reload style for that AK is pretty common nowadays, plus it’s faster

All of these animations are incredible, but the RMS-18 is something else, man! It looks like it's straight out of MW 2019, with it's weightiness and style.

You can tell they really put a lot of time and effort into this one. Considering it's been more than 3 years since FC5; I'm not surprised this is what we're getting.

Man, COD helped me recognize almost 90 percent of the guns here. Of course I only know them by whatever name they have in COD games but still. I've never touched a gun in real life though.

Graphics are fkn awesome.
An interesting thing to note is that the primers on all of the cartridges appear to be struck. Not sure if this indicates that all the ammunition is re-manufactured, which I doubt. Seems more like a lack of attention to detail.
The animations are great but I'm really curious what was with the creative decision of mirroring some of these guns.

These reloads are really cool (especially the KSG) but I’m just sad theres not a bow and arrow, and I’ve been wanting a normal modern day crossbow for so long.

These animations are solid but it kills me that Far Cry is still on that left handed kick from Far Cry 2. The SVDs charging handle is on the right side like an AK. The M14 is on the right too
Funny how more of the returning weapons are literally just reused yet slightly modified assets of Far Cry 5's
It's just like how Far Cry 4 did with to Far Cry 3's weapons.
But i guess the biggest improvement to me in this game is better weapon view model,I swear the one from FC5 is just obscure.
I guess Far Cry 7 will probably use an entirely newer next gen engine

I'm bothered by the mirrored model for SVD-63, but I love the KSG reload so many games get it wrong.
its funny that most of us probably have never shot a gun yet we know more about it then the ones who have shot weapons.
Idk how else to say this but everything regarding strictly the weapon looks pretty good actually, just the human motions like gun sway and thigs i maybe subconsciously notice look off.

Lol even if you empty the mag on the FAL the player does a Tac Reload where he puts the mag back in his vest. Some reloads are cleary inspired by CoD MW 19

@SALAZAR Medal Of Honor Warfighter had it way before MW. Also the animation styles between both FC6 and MW aren't even the same, I don't remember MW having smooth circular movements.
I wouldn't say they are inspired exclusively by MW2019 because many older games had mag retention while tac reloading.
@SALAZAR have you considered that better technology made it easier for animators to do more detailed/realistic animations in a bunch of different games at the same time, including but not limited to MW19?

There is so much extra metallic noise in these animations that so many companies continue to get so very wrong. I’d be interested to know how they design these sounds, because they obviously don’t use real models.
Metallic noise is common in guns.

Reloading the ksg like that is unconfortable with 1 hand because of the weight, its better to sacrifice the showing of the reload and just make it look comfortable and realistic
