It’s my dream to be able to do this, but unfortunately I injured my back a few years ago so I live through your videos. They are so satisfying and calming. Thanks for all your hard work.
This is the first stone my grandfather ever bought and gave to my grandmother, the beginning to a life time of special stones. It inspired a generation of collectors for all things geology in my family and now I've just begun my collection by buying a very small amethyst in Ontario two weeks ago (totally unaware of this mine or my grandfather's appreciation for it until now). Now owners of a mining company, my family is very grateful for this rock which inspired our family. I work in Toronto often and across all Canada, can't wait to make it out to Thunder Bay - love to know how you got the opportunity to go out there. Canada and Amethyst are both very special to me.
I’ve currently been so obsessed with watching these crystal finding videos. & its so nice of you to want to give them to your subscribers. I wish that there were mines like these by where i livee
I couldn't stop looking at the ground after the explosion, there was a whole part just painted purple, it was beautiful. Also, inside the cave seeing the wall with chunks of purple was intense. Absolutely stunning!
My wife Mary's birthstone is Amethyst. I would love to celebrate our upcoming 40th wedding anniversary by presenting her one of your crystals. Thank you for the opportunity
I LOVE digging for crystals! I used to go to Crater of Diamonds in Arkansas every weekend of, but moved to Pennsylvania and can’t do it. This is great to watch and I’m enjoying you explaining and being excited!!!
I’m not gonna lie, DALLMYD, you’ve done so much for the community like returning items found in water and such, and it’s so cool how you do this professionally!
My girlfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship and one of my good friends makes custom jewelry. I'd love to have two pieces that send to my friend to turn into some custom earrings or even just a little piece to turn into a ring. This would mean so much to me! Regardless if I receive anything or not this looks so fun and I love the content you're putting out there.
"Some day" means never. So, right now, take a car, go to the closest shop to buy clothes for work in the dirt, buy tools and go to the closest Amethyst mine.
Just so you know, theres books you can buy that tell you what you need, and where to do this! I also want to do this, since i own a book that shows all the rock hounding places in washington. Hope your well. :]
Thank you for the hard work you put into making these videos. You are my favorite UA-camr, as you interact with your community and fans in a very passionate way. Keep up the great work! I can’t wait for your next video. I would be very happy if you were to mail me a crystal, any shape or size. It’s okay if I don’t win, since I know that others will enjoy it too. Thank you for giving everyone a chance to be able to win a piece of the Earth’s history. Good luck to everyone, and thank you again for these amazing videos.
Absolutely beautiful Crystals! I have just started watching your videos and they are wonderful. Thankyou for sharing! You and your friends are great! It's nice to see young men such as yourselves to be truly giving! Love everything you find.
Love your videos man! You always do the coolest things that make everyone jealous… I hope you come back to Montana sometime… We have so much to do here… You had gone to Nimrod Hot springs and you seemed to like it… I know that specifically has nothing to do with this video, but still cool… If you like digging crystals, there is a place to pull some pretty nice ones here called Crystal Park… You would really like it there… The crystals aren’t that big but they are very clear and mostly intact (depending on how you are mining them)… Best tools for there is a small to medium rock pick, shovel, and sifter… I won’t be surprised if you do not see this comment, but whatever… Again, love your videos… :)
I am so blown-away by what you are pulling out...man you must have a super-hard time sleeping at night from all the excitement after a day like this...probably the day before it too! The clay pockets seem most awesome for unbroken points, uh'huh! Wish I could come up to Canada...actually I looong for being able to even spend an hour collecting at such a site...you are a most fortunate young man! Thank you for sharing your thrills with all of us COVID shut-ins...thank you so very much! PS: you just mentioned you are from Georgia? That's my birth state...when a young man I was a member of the Georgia Gem and Mineral Society...back in the day when you could just walk in the state capitol and walk around among all the way cool mineral specimens there...uh, Washington County "Dixie Euhedrals" mine there I was at when they first opened it up...blue-black purple amethyst crystals! Never found one so dark, but lots of pink-purplish points, even a few double terminated ones, but over the years this or that friend wound up with most...heck, they are millions of years older than me, and will be around millions of years later on, so my "ownership" is fleeting at best...share the joy, who knows who might themselves become inspired to become a rock hound from such exposure, yep! Now that I've found your site I will be back....thank you!!!
I love watching you Jake. I’m jealous. I’d love to be able to do what you do. The beauty of the gems when cleaned is astounding. My Dad and I did gold mining as amateurs. So much fun.
Thank you for what you do! For picking up trash when you find it. Returning lost things. Really wholesome channel to watch.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💔💔
