What's crazy is the old timers would routinely get that much in a day. According to noted BC historian Bill Barlee, there were documented 100 pound days early on at Spruce creek and around Barkerville BC. It's hard to even fathom how rich the virgin placer creeks were. But for modern times 3 ounces a season is damn good without having to resort to dredging. Good work Pauly!
gold prices held strong at $18 an ounce for almost 2 hundred years, then it wen to about $30 or so, then Boom, USA is off the gold standard in the 70's and its gone up since then to what it is now... over 2.3k per ounce
Investing in silver and gold is straightforward, and both are known for their stability during economic downturns. However, the real challenge lies in growing a portfolio through stocks, dividends, and even cryptocurrencies. I've been working to increase my $190K portfolio, but my main difficulty is pinpointing the best entry and exit strategies. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
A diversified portfolio is crucial. Consider expanding into different market sectors to ensure a balanced approach and minimize potential losses. Additionally, partnering with a financial advisor can provide the guidance needed to navigate complex markets.
I completely agree. I handed over my daily investment decisions to an advisor after experiencing significant losses in late 2019, during the COVID-19 outbreak. Today, I'm semi-retired, just 25% shy of reaching my $1 million retirement goal, thanks to strategic investments since then.
Reaching one major milestone makes the next one more attainable. Would you mind sharing the contact details of your investment advisor? I'm looking for proper asset allocation advice to optimize my portfolio by the end of the year. Your help would be much appreciated!
Rebecca Lynne Buie has consistently been my top recommendation. She’s widely recognized for her expertise in financial markets and has a strong track record. I highly recommend her.
Out of curiosity, I searched for the advisor you mentioned and easily found her webpage. I reviewed her qualifications, which are quite impressive, so I’ve already scheduled a call with her.
Is gold really worth it to buy ? In terms of the short term considering taxes and overall cost of upfront purchase then trying to resell when I actually need the liquidity, is physical or gold stocks more worth the cost ? Because it seems to be when people speak of gold their not being specific to the short term or Long term approach to justifying the purchase. Let me know your thoughts , thanks anyone
Only worth it for your long long term investment, short term a guaranteed loss. It's all manipulated and so is Mike bias on gold because that's his business. Always keep that in perspective.
Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.
Love to watch your videos, Pauly. You help keep the blues away in the winter months, when the weather on the prairie makes for hard diggin's. Very inspiring and enjoyable. Thanks!
Merry Christmas 🎁 Pauly! A blessed New Year! I love your energy, enthusiasm and candor! It’s like getting a Golden recharge watching you work those rivers! Damn amazing! Dan Brent
I'm very happy to say that my best year was in 2010 when I found 1.5 troy pounds in 5 weeks of dredging. The top nugget was 3ozt. I've pulled several pounds out of that same spot over the years with a few 1+ pound years, but that one year was amazing. Living in Alaska sure has it's benefits!!!
Looks like a blast! Even if you found a fraction of that amount I'm sure you'd still be out there having a good time! We don't really have good places to pan where I'm at, so I'll have to give it a try next time I go out west 😁

Prices fluctuate, but 1g is about 100 CAD, so 77.77 g is 7777 CAD. Assuming it's of highest purity which it probably isn't. So at least 7000 CAD just in it's weight.
Where do you do this in United state and where are you allowed to use a sluce box and other equipment in creeks and what creeks have a lot of gold to pan and sluce
My friend Bob Sutherland back in 1994 found 293 grams of gold just by panning in the Angus Glens of Scotland. No wet suit. Just the old fashioned way. Maybe there is bigger finds if he had used a snorkel and goggles. Biggest nugget 22 grams. This was in one year. He panned for over 5 years and his collection is in the National museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. Scotland has much gold to be found I am sure.
I gold panned in Scotland and managed to have around 10 grams mixed with cinnabar and black sand. I have a tie pin pin made of Scottish gold with 3 nuggets and my ex wife has an 18 CT wedding ring. Gold came from the glens north of Brechin
Thanks for the entrainment this last year. I know you don't do it for the $, but how many hours do you think you put in? Just in the field, not the editing, that would drive me nuts..
Just an idea Pauly why not string the snuffer bottle to your waist??...string tied to waist then tied to snuffer bottle let go of snuffer bottle dont loose snuffer bottle???..great video thks for posting and Happy New Year to you sir!!!😉👍
Another year already. Good luck in 24 pauly. Just so everyone knows i follow pauly around and i collected 8.4 ounces from his lost snuffer bottles. I look foward to some more music as well.
Excellent work bud! I don't watch every video, but I did see the hardware store paydirts. I do enjoy the sniping content the most, but do what you like, and what you feel at any given moment. Stay true to yourself, you silly daywalker goose!
Saw you today on jeff Williams prospector Arizona. Did industrial cleaning in power plant paper mills we did Pond dredging in plants also. Been dream to use my skills and engineering skills to do gold. Made millions for others building equipment this summer is my turn. Moved material with water and air machine vacuum trucks. Rain shine hard core emergency response work. Crippled me but still got fight in me.
What an awesome year, Pauly. 🎉 I would imagine that without the splits, and gold you gave away, you probably found over 5 ounces total. 👀 I'm super proud of you, and Im so grateful that you didnt quit making vids. 👍😉😊💯
I went down to a local construction site with my best friend about two months ago. We asked the workers if we could go down and see if we could find some rocks for our collections. They said yeah, take whatever you want, we don't need anything from here... boy was that a mistake! We took a few buckets and a hammer and started cracking away at the rocks and boulders. We have been mining there for about 2 and a half months now and since it is so deep in the ground (about 15 20 feet down) we found White Quartz, Tangerine Quartz, and a whole entire 13.0 pound rock of Smoky Quartz! I got home with the big chunk of Smoky Quartz, and I almost died at what I saw. I saw little specks of golden dust. I sat there and researched the rest of the day and found out I had found out it was gold dust! I went back for a whole week and found an entire bucket of gold rocks. Even though only about 20 to 30 percent of the rocks were covered in gold, it was still insane. Some of the gold had quartz veins running through it, so it might be Quartz Gold. I'm only 13 and my friend is only 11. We've only found quartz and bought rocks for our collections 😆Could never have imagined that I would find gold. Me and my family are taking it to a Geologist to get the Quartz and gold checked out. I did do some thorough research on them and have been watching some videos on how to identify them, and so far it looks like gold. My family thinks that it could also be Pyrite, Fool's Gold. I have Fool's Gold at my house though and it looks nothing like the gold that I found. It doesn't have any cubes in it and it's much brighter than Fool's Gold. Fingers crossed though, hopefully it is😅The construction site was flooded by a storm this week, making it very hard to find anything as most of it was washed away, but once it dries, I'll be going back. I came across this video today as most of my recommendations have been gold videos. Pretty cool that you're finding all those gold nuggets. Hope to see another video for all the gold you find this year! ⛏ Forgot to mention earlier, I also found small pieces of Iron and Copper around and right next to the gold.
@user-nn2tp4ts8e not long at all, considering I have a solid education and the ability to type words rather quickly. Are you offended by a kid writing a lengthy comment?
Not sure how we missed this! Hoping you have done well in the land of Kiwi. Hopefully you got to see some sights. XOXO 😘 🤗 God bless you and your family. XOXO ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love from the kiwi in Wanganui NZ. 😅😅
Funny, i was hiking along the river a few times this year and found plastic bottles with some kind of substance in them that looked surprisingly like the one in your video. But don't worry, I found a recycle bin. keep er clean!
I love a good Pauly video between him and Dan they are the only two i enjoy watching gold hunt Dan is educational and Pauly is fun the 2 of them are the best if i would say so myself
Nice video, friend. I'm a little envious, because this seems like a nice hobby, you are both going outside and earning a little money, wish my country would allow personal gold panning, because it's illegal here if you don't register as a business. Wish you luck this year!
Hiya Pauly, awesome video and videos, I had as much fun watching them, as much as you had making them. Keep up the amazing work you do, making your videos. And I hope you have a amazing New Year. And I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😺🐟 out!
Just about $7500 at today's gold prices .. that's freakin awsome .. not many hobbies pay you by the end of the year, my hobby probably could cost me that much but no profit other than the joy it gives. Way to go Bro and TFS ya nutbar 😂
Wow thats impressive! Especially cuz you gave away half of your findings multiple times. Im pretty sure I watched every single video you made this last year. Keep it going.
Woohoo, now that’s a good year. Great job Pauly. Did 68 last year and 42ish this year. And next time you come to northern Cali let me know. I’ve got some good spots to take ya to. 💥👊😎 Sniping only.
I am NEW to your channel. I showed up because the UA-cam algorithm liked your sand from Home Depot/Lowes video and suggested it to me. I explored your channel when I realized you do cool stuff like the TV series about gold prospecting. I like that you do REAL gold prospecting not fake, while also exploring different ideas of finding gold, and branching out to find gemstones. I subscribed when I noticed you have a humor that reminds me of TylerTube and Imbrandonfarris but you are actually doing fascinating things with humor on the side, unlike them whose content is only humor. Keep up the good work, your channel is an interesting hybrid of cool, exploring, and funny that I wasn't expecting to find. 😁
Pauly!! Great to see a fun video from you. I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas 🎁 May you have the best year ever in 2024! Maybe you'll find a lost dump truck full of golden goodness! Who knows? Maybe your missing snuffer bottle will be in it, too! 😉🤔🧐 When you weighed up at the end, I was astonished by how much you had! Plus, how on earth did it weigh out in all sevens? It's sheer luck to do that at a store, much less at a gold weigh in. Wow! Sevens are lucky.... Carry that with you into 2024 my friend 🎁 Thank you for sharing your wild adventures with us. We appreciate you and your unique perspective and humor 😁 Blessings from Alabama for 2024 ❤️
Recent subscriber but you’ve got me so excited my wife got me my first metal detector recently, and I can’t wait to check out some remote spots near my home. Oh and those nuggets are awesome, I hope to find a nice haul one day!
Keep your eye out for Pioneer Paydirt launching early in the new year at pioneerpauly.com! Happy Holidays everybody! 🎉
im first for 2024
Send me one and I'll not film it. I'll just rub it on myself like sunscreen
@420_Ed I see how your lungs are destroyed.. probably smoked too many "Dutch herbs"🤣😂
Luar biasa kawan rezeki berlimpah, doakan saya bisa seperti anda kawan❤🎉

The real question to answer is not how much gold did you find.... but rather, how much gold floated down the river in your errant snuffer bottles? ;-)
Hahaha 😂 Oh man I really don't want to know!
😂
Lmao perfect comment 😜
Some poor sob is likely to have a very happy/lucky windfall day!
I know it’s some amount but not how big it is

I’m glad you make gold panning and gold sniping videos. I thoroughly enjoy them. It’s great content to watch at the end of a rough day.

Make all your gold into one big nugget
2:02 Super disappointed that you didn't say it looked like a Koala, seeing as you were in Australia.

Aw, Pioneer Pauly, you bring so much joy to this community! Thank you 💌
One hell of a year, Pauly! I can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for you. Hope you had a wonderful holiday!!
It would be nice if you told us how much value those golds were all together

Hahaha the Christmas chocolate bar! 🍫
I CANT WAIT FOR 2024'S RESULTS!
You're the golden angel!! Holy mother of holy numbers Pauly! We love you never stop adventuring!

Awesome adventures man!
Just bought my kit and heading to North Wales in a few months, got a pay dirt bag just to get the feel of panning . You have inspired me,cheers pal
Good thing the videos and sponsors help because thats not gonna pay the bills all year
Where do you do this in United state and where are you allowed to use a sluce box and other equipment in creeks and what creeks have a lot of gold to pan and sluce
And in the United States
I'm definitely behind on videos, I didn't watch as much this past year. Gotta go back and catch some of these!
Wow! Around 5,000 US money! But you gave half away and not counting what you lost! Incredible!
Ideally for gold conversion in Troy Oz as standard, since 1 Troy Oz = approx 31.10gms rather than 1 Oz which is just 28.35gms

Lucky 7's!! Awesome! Puts my 2 gram season total to shame, but it's my first year panning. 🤘👍

My new favorite prosecutor..er I mean prospector 😊 glacial gold Midwest = not much! But still fun
The green pan picture on IG was misleading, I thought it was a smaller sized pan 🤷🏼♂️
Great job all around fam. Happy holidays 😊. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Haha Dan as Santa! I'm glad you continued to make videos so fun and educational! Excited to see what you do in 24!

leaves the really important question of how much blacksand did you find in 2023?!
Great final weight for 2023 looking towards 2024!
I think that is where the gold came from you an buddies bought a big 5 gallon bucket there I think gave most the gold away?
Great video Paulie. That nugget was a monster!
Awesome brother. Keep at it.

Great video. Thanks PioneerPauly ♥️🎄🎄🎄🔥🔥🔥
I watched two-toes and you in a video yesterday. Gary and Jeff would be proud, I bet.

Well done Pauly 👏
All them 7's gotta be a sign 😮
Right!
It's interesting how different the colors are different in the NZ gold from your local stuff.
Happy holly-daze, good luck in 24!
Funny, i was hiking along the river a few times this year and found plastic bottles with some kind of substance in them that looked surprisingly like the one in your video. But don't worry, I found a recycle bin. keep er clean!
at $CAD 3180/oz, x 2.7 = $ 8586 , subtract expenses, leaves you how much ?? then divide by total hours spent ...
Thank you again Pauly for all you do for your followers. Some are Patrons some are like me watchers and thumbs up type. ❤️
I love a good Pauly video between him and Dan they are the only two i enjoy watching gold hunt Dan is educational and Pauly is fun the 2 of them are the best if i would say so myself
people who do this for a living can make up to 1$ a year you made about 6404.94 if 24 karat if not less but very good for gold panning
Cya!
😺🐟 out!
I think your weight was little little off !
Gold is weighed in Troy !
A troy ounce is approximately 31 g
Very good videos keep up the good work!
What is the number of total days in the field?
Whats that, about 5k in value? It is defo a passion project for the time × value return
Really enjoyed following you this year & looking forward to 2024 Happy New Year & all the best of luck 🍀
Thanx 4 your golden content Pioneer Pauly, Best wishes 2 u, 4 2024 greatings from Bdelighted from Holland
Just about $7500 at today's gold prices .. that's freakin awsome .. not many hobbies pay you by the end of the year, my hobby probably could cost me that much but no profit other than the joy it gives. Way to go Bro and TFS ya nutbar 😂
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a Safe and Prosperous New Year!
Happy New Year! Cheers to a better 2024!
So is that between 6,500-8,000 worth of gold for the whole year??
As of august 16th, 2024 the price for an ounce of gold is 2,522
Is that really worth it Man if you could use that time to work a year you could just go to the dealer to buy 20ounces lol
omg bro i love this man!😃😀😇
That NZ gold bro , holy cowabunga!!!! Gotta love abyss. Beautiful pauly! Your hard work is well worth it!
What does 1kg of haematite worth? Just a random question

Pauly!! Great to see a fun video from you. I hope that you and your family had a wonderful Christmas 🎁 May you have the best year ever in 2024! Maybe you'll find a lost dump truck full of golden goodness! Who knows? Maybe your missing snuffer bottle will be in it, too! 😉🤔🧐
When you weighed up at the end, I was astonished by how much you had! Plus, how on earth did it weigh out in all sevens? It's sheer luck to do that at a store, much less at a gold weigh in. Wow! Sevens are lucky.... Carry that with you into 2024 my friend 🎁
Thank you for sharing your wild adventures with us. We appreciate you and your unique perspective and humor 😁 Blessings from Alabama for 2024 ❤️
