As a tall guy, my first mod would be a racing seat + steering wheel, getting the ergonomics right is crucial for me, I can't enjoy the car if I don't fit perfectly.
ITB are by far the best big mod you can do to the engine, not only do they make the miata imo the best sounding car ever, but they keep the strong and consistent spirit of the car and raise its maximum potential giving amazing throttle response and acceleration without sacrificing any control or precision.
Itbs sound great on a mx5 but they are extremely un efficient way of making power on a mx5 you can expect 10 to 20 hp and that's with complimentary mods 180hp is the most you will get with a built motor na
For anyone looking for genuine advice when getting into the chassis: the first 2 are great, swap forced induction for sway bar end links. You don’t even need tires, it WILL handle better than 90% of cars on the road just by putting them on and adjusting until it feels good

@@kriscarr389 some people know how to drive, they just bought an automatic 😂😂😂 im a big guy and for me i drove an NA manual and my legs dont like it. So i stick to my nb auto. If you can manual swap great if not just enjoy it, or sell it amd buy a manual
@@CHUKMEISTER03 , not trying to be insulting or anything. The Miata was built to be a very driver focused sports car. It was built with a very particular driving experience in mind and a manual transmission is a huge part of that which is why an automatic wasn't even available for the first 2 years of production. Its not even the same car when that third pedal is removed.
@@Specimen-music the nb2’s are gorgeous cars. design is timeless.. they’re easy to drive and learn manual, handle well and if they’re not fast enough bolt on a small turbo the reactions from other people alone is worth owning one
