The seatbelt holder is for the passenger seat belt, not really for the driver's. It's to stop the passenger belt from whipping around in the wind when the top is down, making noise and being a distraction

Have a 2017 ND and bought a backup camera. I had a garage install it because it was complex and paid them $300 for the purchase and installation. When you put the car in reverse, the camera displays the backup image on the HUD just like Mazda did it! Best $300 I've spent on the MX-5!

I love the trunk poppers. My only concern is making sure that my face or my wife’s face is nowhere near the trunk when using the trunk button on my dash or my remote. That thing flies open!
Nice video. Quick question. For the LED trunk lights, do water leak through where you cut? Because i know when i was the car a lot of water tends to get in the trunk area and well those black top stop water from getting inside. But since you cut a little slice through them and a wire do you or have you noticed any leaks? Or did you seal them?

Thank you! Have a great time making your MX-5 just the way you like. My gripe with the airbag warning panel is that it goes off if my cell phone sits on my passenger seat. Fix that sensor Mazda! Or allow it to tel the difference between my phone and an actual person. 👍🏽

Hey Mr Miata, my first view of any of your vids and great job! You sold me on a couple of Items that I don't already have. I'm deff diggen the trunk poppers, led side markers and seat belt holster. I have the LED rear strip light and the Interior Seat belt warning overlay. I have the one that is the silhouette of the ST and love it. A couple of comments for you. I know your weren't loven the seat belt holster but Im gonna get it for use on the passenger side. Im guessing it wasnt intended for driver side use, I mean what would be the purpose of that? Passenger side use makes sense if your passenger seat is empty alot. One more tip for you. the LED rear strip light. You slit the plugs! Much better to simply drill a hole through the plugs then feed the wire through. I used a 3/16" drill bit. Pop the plugs, drill the hole in each. The hole is small, and with the rubber basically self healing. when feed the wire through its a nice snug fit around the wire and the plug remains intact, no chance of leaks and looks clean.
Is Us version's indicator light always on? I have installed it this afternoon, but it seems Au version does not have the sensor for passenger airbag, so I cannot keep the indicator on.
Great Video! I have some comments. But I like your video! Look like if you "auto cross" your car that buckle hanger is great because you have 4/5 point seat belt and where to hang the original. In Norway you can order your MX-5 from dealer whit black/gray blinkers, but not sequential one. You could punch hole in the rubber grommet instead of cut it in halv. If you punch a smaler hole than cable it will seal up much better.
