Great OEM+ look, TBH I would have liked the video more if the camera guy would show more of the parts being discussed rather than constantly the talking heads with quick and very very brief shaky zoom to the subject and then back to the talking heads. Thanks anyway though. Keep up the great work :)
NC-1 owner here (2008, copper red mica). I'm one of those who like the original front bumper ("the angry bass"). This video was excellent; the work that Kwan put into the car he bought was astonishing. Thank you.
I have a copper mica read NC1 2007 with koni shocks, Flyin' Miata springs an sway bars front and back, and just ordered the BBR Super 200 package to finish it out. The springs and shocks with beefier sways made this handle like a slot car, and got rid of the body roll, and the dip and dive. I can't wait to get 200+ HP out of this beautiful car!
One of my favourite NC builds I've discovered on IG. The colour combination is perfect... would have been my top choice if it weren't for Competition Yellow. 💛
Bravo Kwan! This is a fabulous and clean looking NC. The rims look great and and the stance is perfect along with everything else that you did to this car. Congrats!
How DARE you put a smile on an NC1 - he was born with a duck face and deserves love how it was. But damn I hope Moss still has those cup holders! EDIT THEY DO $85 WTF
Insanely clean nc1. Like all the touches are very grown up. I'd be back at car shows if more of the cars were modified like this. I swore that infotainment unit wasn't stock but couldn't place why. It looks so clean and simple. And without rgb everything
Come to Australia and come for a ride in 'Beastie' my NC1 Launch Edition, which I have truly made my own, including importing a BBR225 kit from the UK, with ITBs, Cams, Headers, ECM Tune, and 2.5" high flow exhaust system. It sounds and goes beautifully and Jordan, you would love it!
Jordan, come out to Tampa FL and review my car. I would love to share my love and passion with my 2012 NC2 PRHT True Red 6-speed. I bought it new and have enjoyed the mods I've had done over the years. It has: RoadsterSport Max Power 1.6 header (ceramic coated), RoadsterSport Helmholtz Midpipe, RoadsterSport Super-Q Exhaust, EcuTek RaceROM tune, K&N Drop-in Filter, Cobalt 3-Point, Shock Tower Brace, RoadsterSport Sway Bar End Links, GWR 36/58 Sport Bumpstop Kit, Progress Technology Spring Set, Progresss Technology Sway Bars (front and rear), PowerFlex Door Stop Bushings, Koni Sport Adjustable Shocks, Tecna-Fit Stainless Steel Lines, StopTech Slotted Rotors, Porterfield R4S brake pads, Enkei PF01 Silver 17x8 +50mm wheels, Continental ECS 225/45/17 tires, Hubcentric Rings 73/67, McGard Lug Nuts, Moroso Power Steering Reservoir, Moroso Coolant Expansion Tank, CSF Single-Pass 32mm Radiator, Braided Stainless Steel Clutch Line, Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit, RoadsterSport Competition Motor Mounts. I think It looks and drives better now than when it was new.
Dang, saw an exact spec'd one for sale month or so back. Tan seats, Tan dash and tan door insert, Marble white with aero package. I should have picked it up.
That is one stunning and beautiful car! BTW I have an 06' NC1, 6spd, heated leather seats, in Winning Blue with matching hardtop for sale. I'm a little far in Canada on Vancouver Island though..
Beautiful car, this guy did all things right! Beautiful wheels as well, I just did not get the name of the brand? Anyone who knows the name of the wheels? They would be perfect on my black NC👍😎.
could have saved some time and money starting with NC3? as past/current owner of '94, '00, '06, '17, and now '13, NC3 is the best looker of all models 🙂 and as must as I love RHT look which I had on first three Miatas, I have decided on PRHT for current '13 and eventually got used to the side view. NC miata with modern head unit with backup camera, it's a true modern-classic roadster.
Super sweet NC. All the mods are really tastefuly done. I'd still like to know about that steering wheel center sticker. I know he mentioned Etsy but the audio went screwy an I didn't catch how or who he got it from on Etsy. Can anyone help?
Cannot help unfortunately. But I’m also interested in that wheel center sticker. I believe they said 60 mm sticker, from Etsy. But they didn’t said who the seller is… also looking for it. If anybody can help?
@@frankdeckers6555 I searched this sticker on Etsy but all I could find were center caps for wheels not steering wheels. Wish they'd been more clear about how they found it on Esty too.
Is the AC/Heater control from a different miata? I put one just like that which I pulled off of a later model at the junk yard and installed it in min (I also have 2006), but the knob on the left that controls the vents does not work. The temperature dial and the fan speed works fine but the vent choice is permanently set ever since I changed out my OEM one. The reason I changed it is for that silver edge which accents different parts of the car. My OEM one is just all black and moss miata sells a matching satin cover for them but its 70 freaking $$dollars!! I actually noticed that the one I got also has a "Auto" option on the fan speed dial, so I guess there are multiple iterations of this part (at least 3 anyway).
The later units are actually automatic climate control because rather than setting hot or cold you select a temperature target with the centre dial. This is probably why the direction control doesn't work.
Hey man, i saw your vid on the atoto sub on ur miata, and u mentioned u might change the head unit to atoto too...could you make a install video on that? 😅
I'm considering it... but I've also had some random glitches on my Atoto head unit in the Jeep. Whereas my Sony has been mostly bulletproof. So I'm still eyeing what might come next...
@@mazboost yeah, and if you do a good job like this guy did, they look really good. Though the headlights still don't look the same. They don't fill out the area the same as the nc3 headlights. These in this video work well though to make it look at least like they are supposed to look like that. It's much better than just slapping an nc3 bumper on there and calling it good, lol
Why change to the smiley face bumper? also delete the mazda badge on the front & that ugly 3rd brake light on the back. Good color but not as good as the storm blue!

I like the nc1 bumper better than the smile face one. Though I still think it could be improved with a little custom work.
I don’t care what people say…..I picked up a 2009 NC Mx-5 GT hardtop……it’s amazing! I have had it for 6 years….Love it. NC is a great car.

I should look him up since I’m in Los Angeles with an NC1. Impressive look, mature but playful.
Brilliant UA-cam, love the colour, and the role over bar is fantastic, lovely car bro

NC goals.
I just bought an NC2 Miata and I feel like I’m hated by the Miata community right out of the gate. I’m glad to see some love for an NC.
It’s not hate it’s jealousy - specifically if you own a hartop. Yeahhhh baby 😁👍
Nc is the sweet spot between new technology and old school. Haters always gonna hate.
@@Mavert83 I own the soft top 😭😭. I plan to purchase a removable hard top for it though.
NC2 is an incredible car mate! 👌🏼
Same here. Bought an NC1 four days ago. I giggle whenever I drive it. Drive what you like, mod it how you want. Enjoy.

Oh, by the way, the style hoops actually cover a roll bar.

What's the wheels size?

He did a really good job with the headlights, but it's still a dead giveaway that this is an NC1 with an NC3 bumper swap.
I disagree, if you first look it definitely looks like a nc3 from the front
